What is your usual attire?
Trendy formal black.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
We go over music selections prior to the event and we will have everything requested for the big day.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have 10 staff members total. Our team consists of MC's, DJ's, a KJ, Motivational Dancers and a Hair and Make Up Artist.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
3 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely! We are able to schedule a free no obligation consultation.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
No, we cover all genres of music from the 1940s to the present.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes. We offer basic lighting as well as specialty lighting. i.e. Gobo with name in lights. We also offer fog and bubble machines.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We arrive one hour prior for set up. We provide our own DJ booth.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Depending on the setup....for example our Platinum setup will require more room than our Silver setup.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We will emcee the reception but we don't talk between every single song. We talk when it is appropriate. We don't over do it.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Music is always played during your event between the hours that you schedule us for.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we have staff that is briefed every week as to what events are going on and where everyone has to be on that upcoming weekend. We have backup staff members ready to go on standby.
What is your overtime rate?
$200 per hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Depending on the distance. If event is in Central Fla area there is no extra charge.
