How to Choose Your Perfect Celebrant

Because you and your celebrant will be co-creating the ceremony for a momentous and life-changing day, there are a number of important questions to keep in mind when making your decision:

                                                   Does she or he:

·        understand and respect your philosophy or belief system?

·        listen deeply to your ideas, preferences and concerns?

·        have the knowledge and skill to craft a ceremony that uniquely
reflects your personality, values and style?

                                        And most important of all:

·        Do you feel emotionally comfortable with this person?

·        Are you confident that he or she will be a calming, caring
and dependable guide throughout the sometimes stressful
wedding preparations, and a steadying presence on your
         wedding day?

If you can answer Yes!  to all of these questions, you have found your perfect celebrant !

Tips and Advice
In General: Give yourself plenty of time - a year is not too much - when looking for, and choosing, an officiant.  You don't want to find your perfect match, only to discover that she or he is already booked for your scheduled day.

If We're Working Together:
Well in advance of the ceremony, please be sure to ask me about the procedures for obtaining a marriage license in your area.  I'll take care of all the remaining details for you after your wedding.
