The Plano Centre is the ideal setting for your dream wedding. From the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony and reception, we can handle all of the details for you.  Whether your plans call for a small, intimate gathering or a large, gala affair, the Plano Centre can accommodate your special event.
 
When you choose the Plano Centre as your event site, you enjoy the planning assistance of your own Event Coordinator. Your Event Coordinator will work with you on specifics and logistics such as room selection, room set-up, menu planning, audio visual needs and all other facets of your special day.  In other works, we’re here to make your dream event a brilliant success.

May I bring in my own caterer? May we bring in our own alcohol?
Plano’s Choice Catering is the exclusive caterer for the Plano Centre, Plano Station and the Grille at Pecan Hollow Golf Course. Our Catering Manager will assist you in selecting from our wide variety of menus. Our chefs can also custom design a menu for your special event.    Plano’s Choice Catering also handles all bar service. Events serving alcohol may require security. Security is provided by the Plano Police Department at the customer’s expense. The current rate is $30 per hour per officer with a four hour minimum.
 
How many guests can your facility seat?
Collinwood Hall can seat up to 2200 theatre style and up to 1500 banquet style. Windhaven can accommodate up to 375 theatre and up to 200 banquet. Refer to Room Capacity for additional rooms and set-ups.
 
How soon can I book an event? Will you hold a date? How do I secure a date?
Corporate Meetings, Weddings, Socials are booked six months to one year out. Tradeshows and Conventions are booked two years in advance. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. A non-refundable 50% deposit, (half of total rental fee) and a signed contract is required to secure a date on our books.
 
What does the room fee include?
The lease fee covers rental of the room, tables and chairs, set-up and tear down. Plano’s Choice Catering fees include table linens, china, glassware and flatware.
 
What additional costs do I face?
Plano’s Choice Catering charges are plus 18% service and and 8.25% sales tax.
 
May I decorate the room?
You may use masking tape, T-pins and push pins to decorate for your event. Nails, hooks, screws, tacks, staples, putty, double-sided tape or strong adhesive tape may not be used. You are responsible for any damages to the facility and removal of all decorations, materials, trash, residue etc. after the event. The Plano Centre will provide trash cans and assistance. Decorations causing a high volume of trash and debris are subject to clean-up charges.
