Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Always color, B&W, aged processing, digital enhancements, photo coloring.
 
Is your media preference film or digital?
Definitely digital!
 
How many photographers do you work with?
I am only one. If you contract me, I shoot your wedding. I also have assistants and second photographers, but you will always have me!
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
A presence? Of course! You sign with me, you're stuck with ME!
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never on the same day. Two in one weekend, occasionally...I LOVE a challenge!
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Of course! I'd never let a wedding day go uncovered.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I shoot Nikon. Currently using the D300 & D200 along with several different lenses and Nikon flashes.
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course! Are there photographers out there that don't?
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have several package options that range from local ceremony only to unlimited coverage.
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Do you plan on taking breaks from your wedding day? Neither do I!
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
With in a couple of days after the wedding images are posted to my blog. All images are on-line for proof viewing in 4-6 weeks.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Website. Online password protected proof gallery.
 
How long can the client keep the proofs?
They are available for viewing forever.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Along with passing on copyright to you, yes.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, unless you ask that I not. What bride would not want to see a reminder of her incredible day?
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes! They will be given to you on either CD or DVD!
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes!

The one thing I learned from my own experience.... It is YOUR day, but to keep everyone happy I do cover all the traditional pictures that your crowd may require. Just let me know what you are looking for and I can make it happen!
