How many photographers do you work with?
I always have one assistant with me on the day of the wedding. Two if special circumstances warrant the need.

Umm... absolutely!

Been there. Done that. Bad idea. I'm all yours...
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, of course. A back up plan is a necessary component to such a date-specific industry.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Two professional Nikon digital camera bodies, an assortment of lenses, a large reflector (i LOVE that natural light), a couple strobes, a big smile, and lots of energy.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Absolutely.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Neither. I charge based on which package you want - so I suppose it's more of an "hourly" thing. Prices and packages are available on my website: www.AppsPhotography.com
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
A meal is appreciated.
Do you charge for travel?
I do charge all reasonable travel expenses to the client for weddings booked outside of San Luis Obispo County. But, this is not to say that travel is discouraged. Quite the contrary! I LOVE it...
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Your images will be ready for viewing and delivery approximately 4-5 weeks after the event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Included with every package is a disc containing all your high-res images. This disc is accompanied by a thumbnail album, which acts as a printed supplement to your disc. Images are also available online through an online proofing company, so that friends and family can view and order images from your event.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
They're yours forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Absolutely.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yep - but I will always check with you first for permission.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I do. If I were getting married, that's what I would want... seems only fair. : )
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yep.
