Reviews are extremely valuable to a transparent and efficient marketplace. WeddingWire strives to consolidate the honest opinions of the thousands of newlyweds who share their experiences with us. In turn, using this input, our reviews are designed to provide engaged couples with trustworthy information, allowing them to make smart decisions during their wedding planning.

Reviews submitted by engaged couples are linked to your account and then combined with the rest of your prior reviews. The average of your reviews creates your total score, on a scale from 1 to 5. The more brides that review your business, the more accurate overall rating you will receive.

WeddingWire is the first to give you "limited control" over your reviews:

	Invite Your Customers - WeddingWire allows you to invite your legitimate newlywed customers to review your business/service.
	Respond to Reviews - You are allowed to comment on any reviews (good or not so good) that you receive.
	Dispute Resolution - Should there be a fraudulent review, you may dispute the rating and WeddingWire will investigate on your behalf.

At WeddingWire, you don't have to be afraid of reviews. Our review system is based on the total average of your ratings. If you are a legitimate business with a strong service record, your customers and history of success will speak on your behalf. No one poor review can hurt your business. Similar to eBay's successful review system, you can also post a response to any review your company receives and your comments will then be seen by the community.

Yes! If you have a basic, free listing with WeddingWire, you can improve your listing ranking by getting more reviews. The WeddingWire Vendor Catalog ranks basic listings from most NUMBER of Reviews to the least. If you would like to further improve your listing ranking, you can upgrade to an Enhanced or Featured Listing.

If you receive a suspicious or fraudulent review, click on the "Dispute" link next to the review in question. This will alert WeddingWire's Fraud Department. We will then temporarily suspend that review and investigate. Should the review be verified, it will be placed back on your Storefront. If not, it will be removed permanently.

If you get a bad review, the first question is whether it is deserved or not. If it is a legitimate review, you can choose to defend your position by responding to this review. You may also invite more of your newlywed customers to review you to boost your overall ratings.

**Any attempt to manipulate these ratings and reviews is a clear violation of WeddingWire policy and may result in the removal and permanent ban of an establishment from WeddingWire

WeddingWire will NOT remove a review solely because it represents a low rating.

If you find suspicious activities happening on WeddingWire, please notify us immediately. You can notify us through the "Flag as Inappropriate" link or by Contacting Us with details of the violation/abuse. WeddingWire treats fraudulent activities very seriously and will take immediate action.
