Zales is THE diamond store, after all. The service was adequate, overall. Mike, who assisted us, was excellent - extremely helpful and professional. The only real disappointment is that they don't have a jeweler on site. I had to leave my rings (solitaire and wrap) to be sized - they are both too big because they "round up" when you are between sizes. They were sized together, but the wrap is noticeably larger than the solitaire. There are areas on the wrap where it was sized that the yellow gold shows through. I have heard that they have a new jeweler, however, this one is also not on site. My husband was very pleased with his ring and service. Overall, I would recommend Zales.

My husband and I thought we were going to a reputable Jewelery store. I was mistaken. They had a great selection but the service was terrible, and only when the sales person realized that she was about to make a large comission did she start to focus on us and our needs. I was told it was best to open a credit card with them becasue it would give me a better deal only to find out that the deal was five dollars off the price. Not really worth it. One week after the wedding the diamond fell out of my husbands ring and when we took it back to replace it they told us there was no replacement for the ring that they would fix it. My view is if it is defective or broke in the first 30 days I should get a brand new one not a fixed one especially since we spent a pretty peny on it. I would not go to them for something as important as a wedding band, I also have to say I saw a very similar ring at Walmart for far far less, and they have a 100 percent replacement warranty. I am very unhappy with my purchase.

We had been buying our jewelry there for years, and you get what you pay for. He purchased my e-ring at a Zales in Burlington, MA and they were great to deal with. Buying our wedding bands in Taunton was a whole other story. There was one worker there that I couldn't stand. When we bought our wedding bands, she wasn't even our associate, but stood over the whole transaction like a hawk. I saw a ring that I sorta liked and she took it out of the case and put it on her own finger to show it to me, um that's weird. Then she asked me to give her my e-ring so I could see them together. Uh, strange lady, you are definitely not wearing my engagement ring. I was so turned off by her that we left without a ring. For weeks, I'd stalk the store and finally she wasn't working one day when we went back. We chose wedding bands, and purchased them. We were told they could both be engraved with 40 letters each and it would take a week.

We dropped them off 3 weeks before the wedding to be engraved. We go to pick them up 1 week before the wedding and are told that nothing could be put on my husband's ring because of the type of band, and they could only fit 10 letters in mine. Well thanks for calling and giving us a heads up. It was so close to the wedding that there was nothing we could do.

Needless to say we canceled our credit card with them and haven't gone back. What a nightmare their Taunton, MA location is. I wonder if that female worker is out there still trying on everyone's rings. Crazy.
