Elise, My make up artist, was PERFECT (hahaha I love she always said that word) she got on time, and she was totally right about the make up.. it looks even better as time goes by!!!! My mom and sister Totally love her too!! I'm so glad we got Your Make Up Artist!! I would recommend them to all the brides to be., and for all the people for that matter!. I was very pleased with My Makeup Expert and how efficient and well-planned they were. Corinna was wonderful, friendly, and arrived right on time. She did a beautiful job on both my hair and make-up, I could not have asked for a better result!

This person called me on the day of my bridals at 730am and was supposed to be there at 830am to say they could not make it. They did not have a backup in place. They were very unprofessional. They asked me to reschedule my bridals. I was very disappointed.

Although we were'nt very prompt on everything our make-up expert team was. They were definately there to satisfy our every desire on how much or how little make-up everyone wanted. Their prices were great and their Make-Up Artistic abilities exceded our expectations. The payment plan was easy, especially with the wedding date being so close.They were at our wedding venue on time and ready to get started. They remained at the venue until everyone was satisfied and ready to walk down the isle. They came with a sense of humor and very sweet to our whole bridal party. Our make-up expert team made our day getting all pretty for this beautiful and cherished event even more special than we could have imagined. We used their services for my daughters wedding three years ago and now in June, 2011 as a gift to my son and his now wife. She was very pleased and so excited. There were no disappointments, only satisfaction. We all just love the ladies at Your Make-Up Expert.

I was quite anxious about how I would look on my wedding day; I have a significant amount of melasma and discoloration and acne scarring on my face. Elise was amazing- very gentle, answered all my questions and really put my mind at ease. She helped me with ideas and made changes last minute. I could not believe the final outcome. I looked flawless and I NEVER thought I would look like that! I would definitely us my make up expert again and highly recommend their services.

OMG!!! Dorothy did an outstanding job on the day of my wedding! Wow is all I can say, she transformed me from girl next door to Sexy Bride in a flash!! She also did my mom and sister's makeup and as she was transforming my sister I couldn't stop looking at her wonderful work. I just couldn't stop staring at my sister and how gorgeous she looked! Everyone made a comment about how beautiful my hair and makeup looked, some people actually told me that they couldn't stop staring at my face and one guest even said to my husband "don't you wish she looked like this every day" lol! My photographer took first look pics and so I snuck up on my husband at the venue and he turned and looked and me and kept saying how beautiful I looked! Even later that night as we headed to Galveston he continued saying the same thing and he said that my makeup artist did a fantastic job! Thank you so much Dorothy, I can't wait to have another excuse to use you!!

Dorothy was great!! Very professional, punctual and flexible. I went to her studio for my trial and was amazed at how quickly she was able to get my long, thick hair into a perfect up-do. The airbrushed makeup was also a great idea for pictures and made it long-lasting.
She came to me for the bridal portraits and the wedding day, which was definitely worth it. On the day of my wedding, she also did my daughter's hair into an adorable up-do with curly ringlets on each side, just like she requested. Dorothy even came up with the idea of putting some small flowers in our hair to match the dresses. Everyone complimented us on the hair and my daughter just beamed!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dorothy. She is professional, prompt and very knowledgable. She has a track record of clients who are very satisfied! I would recommend her to anyone needing hair and makeup for their wedding, photo op, etc.

I will never be in or go to a wedding without the help of these girls. I had originally not planned on having airbrushed makeup at all. After talking to Dorothy, I changed my mind. After my trial, I was in love. Elise was so go to my maids and my daughter. It was like she was a guest at the wedding.

Dorothy did my make-up for both my bridal portrait and the wedding day. I paid to have the trial done before hand. She has a very cute little studio next to her house, but it isn't very close to Houston. I paid to have her come to my house to do hair and make-up on both the portrait day and wedding day, and it was well worth the extra $65 travelling fee each time.

Dorothy did a great job. I took her pictures of my dress so she could get an idea for my style. She was very willing to tweak my hair when the updo needed to be just a little higher. And I love the airbrush make-up. It really does hide all of your flaws, and I never got shiney on my wedding day. When my bridal portraits turned out poorly (see review on photographer), I showed her the pictures and she modified the make-up a bit after looking at how it photographs. For the wedding day she brought an assistant, and the assistant did an excellent job on my sister and my mom's make-up. All of us looked very natural. I would highly recommend Your Make-up Expert to anyone in the Houston area.

When we booked Dorothy we had a set number of hair and make up. When she got there, it all changed and she was willing to fit in everyone! We added 3 extra make ups and 2 hairs. It was great. She is super professional and did wonderful.

Dorothy, the lady who owns this business is wonderful. She was able to take a few pictures that I brought to her during my consultation, and she was able to create the look I wanted the first trial. It was gorgeous, and she was very flexible as far as time goes. She had more options available than other vendors, like getting airbrush or traditional makeup or stage makeup. She created the look I wanted and the look my bridesmaids and mother wanted and was done in no time. Loved her.
