Jessica in the Harbor East-Whole Foods did our flowers. They were wedding quality without the wedding price. They were beyond budget friendly.
Jessica was able to take elements from the flowergirls crystal bouquets and incorporate them through out the rest of our bouquets and the many corsage/boutineers combos she made for our parents, grandparents etc. They were really beautiful works of art! The only responsiveness issues are because you are calling a grocery store they are no fault of Jessica's!!! If you only use email consider it a 5 star deal.

I used the Whole Foods florist in Annapolis, MD - and worked with Rose. She was wonderful. She was able to order my flowers with in her standard order and set them aside for me, so I wouldn't have to pay the "special order" cost. I had both my centerpieces and bouquets done and everything came out beautifully, and exactly as I requested. You are also able to buy your own vases and provide them to Whole Foods so you can find exactly what you want and then can keep them afterwards. Only thing is that you have to pick them up at Whole Foods - there isn't delivery service offered.
Great service - best value for money!

I ordered 12 orchids from Jessica Milesky in the floral department at the downtown Harbor East location. I saw that she had gorgeous white orchids in white pots and called and asked if she would be able to get the same thing for me the week of my wedding. She checked with her distributor and was able to meet my order. The orchids were amazing, and they still look gorgeous.

My bridal bouquet and the groom's boutinier were created by the florist at Whole Foods Market, Inner Harbor East in Baltimore. I had no specific design in mind, and just wanted something simple, in-season, and reasonably priced. Jessica worked with me to help me choose a few different flowers, and then created a beautiful wildflower bouquet - it was perfect. She also recommended a local company that will freeze-dry and preserve the flowers after the wedding (Forever Yours, in Glen Burnie, Md). I can't wait to get my beautiful bouquet back, so I can enjoy it for years to come.

I helped coordinate a very low cost (under $3,000) wedding for my cousin. To keep the budget bare bones, we bought flowers at Whole Foods supermarket in Rockville, MD and assembled the bouquet, boutineers, and cake flowers ourselves with the help of a family friend. We bought the flowers on a Wednesday for a Friday wedding. The selection was limited because this location receives its shipment on Fridays. Still, we were able to find very nice roses ($19.99 for a bouquet of 24) for the personal flowers and beautiful hydrangeas ($12.99 for a bouquet) for the cake. We also bought some fern and baby's breath. Since this is a DIY project and we were doing it on Wednesday, I was worried about how the flowers would turn out for the wedding. It turned out to be very simple and easy. We used floral tape ($1.99 at Joann Fabric in Gaithersburg, MD), rubber bands, scissors, and ribbon. We used 18 roses for the bridal bouquet and the remainder of the roses to make corsages and boutineers for all of the wedding party. Pins for the boutineers can also be bought at Joann for $4.99 a box. For the cake, we had purchased Wilton cake separator plates and columns from Fran's Cake and Candy in Virginia for around $25, and ordered 3 undecorated cakes (8", 10" and 12") from Classic Bakery in Gaithersburg. We assembled the cake onto a silver cake stand into tiers, and used the flowers to decorate each tier. It turned out to be a very beautiful cake! I just made sure to wash the hydrangeas carefully since they were going to be on the cake. I used Wilton flower spikes to insert the hydrangeas into the cake.
Overall, I highly recommend DIY flowers for a small wedding. It really isn't as hard as it seems.
