Cathleen was amazing. No other way to describe her! Ever since day one, she has been so easy to get a hold of and to work with. She was so kind and always answered any questions we had. She sent me periodic ideas and news, and we really appreciated the extra mile.

She really took all of our thoughts and ideas into the ceremony she prepared. She did this amazing Blessing of the Sea and it fit our ceremony perfectly. She was so easy to work with, it made the rehearsal a piece of cake too. She stayed and helped us even after it was over to rehearse it until we were comfortable.

Cathleen was a very good choice for us. She was professional and did a perfect job!

I am unsure what to expect from an officiant...I felt that Cathleen was most helpful in providing a few references for the vendors my husband and I selected for our ceremony and reception.

I was surprised that she was reading the ceremony from a bound book...not that it was any trouble but it seemed a little strange to me. I didn't think she would be reading it as she had written the material that I had to choose from.

I felt that in terms of the reception...perhaps my etiquette is a bit off...but I paid for services and then paid for a plate for her dinner. I felt like I may have done something wrong by not inviting her but I didn't feel it appropriate as she wasn't a close friend of the family (my wedding was very small and intimate - 40 people) and she wasn't giving a blessing at the dinner. So in addition to paying the fees for services, I also paid for a plate of dinner for her + gratuity and I felt that inappropriate.

Her writings are beautiful and her resourcefulness is very helpful.

We do not recommend anyone getting services from Cathleen Logue (Shriner). Her conduct was unacceptable. She was uninvolved, unprofessional and not personable.

I wanted to order flowers for my parents and his parents to honor them. She told me "I strongly don't recommend getting flowers [boutinnieres and corsages] for the parents and grandparents" and "had it been an expensive yacht party, I would have recommended it." That comment was unsolicited and very unprofessional. I found nothing wrong to honor my parents and his parents who have raised us all these years. Without them, we would not be here. That insinuated that our wedding meant nothing and it was not "worthy" to have flowers for the parents. It didn't matter what type of wedding we were having, we were entitled to honor our parents regardless.

There was also lack of involvement and we paid her a lot of money. She didn't come out on our wedding day to oversee everything (showed up an hour before wedding) and she did not call me on the day of wedding. She should have showed up in the morning to provide a floor plan and make sure everything was set up. Instead, we ended up doing the work and deciding on a lot of things that we were not aware that we had to decide on. It was total chaos on our wedding day and I should not be put in that situation. A wedding coordinator should be there to organize and coordinate everything. Where was she?

I was also shocked when she asked me when the photographer would be coming out to take pictures. Her lack of planning and organization caused unnecessary stress on the bride and groom on the day of the wedding. Had I not coordinated everything with the photographer and DJ (all the little details) our wedding would have gone downhill.

She did not recognize me and my husband and she made the comment, "I thought you were blonde". That was not only uncalled for but humiliating in front of family members. She walked in when I was getting my hair and make up done and asked "Why is everything not set up?" Isn't it her job to make sure everything runs smoothly and where is her timeline for when things accomplished? She never made one. Dumping that responsibility on both of us was just too much for me to handle at that point. I really did not want to have the wedding at that point and I shouldn't be made to feel that way.

She arranged the rehearsal time on the day of the wedding at 4:30 pm when the vendors were coming in and did not change the time until I reiterated to her that I felt that would cause us to rush and avoid the guests coming in at 5:00 pm.

She yelled at us for not being present for the rehearsal on time under unforeseen circumstances. The the driver of the taxi got lost and my maid of honor and best man had no control over that. I started to panic because I really need them to be present for the wedding. I would have appreciated it if she offered directions rather than yelling at all of us. I was on the verge of tears. Isn't she supposed to help out with emergencies as the wedding coordinator?

She never came up to see me prior to the ceremony to make sure I understood what I was supposed to do since I missed rehearsal; my bridesmaid had to go get her. My husband's aunt came up to see me to give instructions for the processional.

She has not called me during the whole month of August prior to the wedding. I found that really unacceptable. She did not set up a meeting right before the wedding to go over all the logistics. I've called her several times and when my husband finally got a hold of her, she told him, "Just tell her that everything will be ready by the time she gets there and don't worry about it." Regardless of why she treated me the way she did, I felt ignored and not important whatsoever. I can only have a wedding once and that was my only day. Without the help of family members, friends, the staff at the reception site, and complete strangers, my wedding would have been a complete disaster so I am thankful for all their help.

Cathleen is a wonderful lady. Easy going with picking the vows, and very friendly. Answered questions promptly, and gave the impression that she really cared about us.

Cathleen was wonderful to work. Not only did she perform our ceremony but she coordinated the entire wedding. From her wedding gowns to the day of the wedding and after I found her easy to talk with about anything. She always returned my emails or calls. She called the morning of the wedding because she knew I was nervous. After speaking to her for a few minutes everything was fine. When we came back from our honeymoon there was a card waiting for us from her, thanking us for allowing her to be part of our special day. One of the things she does for you if she performs your ceremony is to give you a free vow renewal when you are ready. I would definitely say she is an above average person!!!
