Villa Italia provided us with exactly the type of cake we wanted. It was delicious and beautiful. The cake tasting was a ton of fun and they provided us with many options and advice. The end result was a hit. We highly recommend Villa Italia for wedding or special event.

The cake was great! I had a bit of a complicated vision but it was exactly what I wanted, they were very flexible. During the tasting they gave us as much time as we needed and were very patient as we spent 10 minutes debating the base color for the different tiers of the cake. They consulted the cake decorators in the back for their expert advice, but let us make the ultimate decision. The end result actually strayed a little bit from the original design--there was detailing on a part of the cake that I hadn't asked for. But it totally completed the cake, and looked amazing! I liked that they did what they needed to in order to create a good product, rather than just doing what I told them and telling me that's what I asked for, that's what I got. It makes it seem more like an artistic creation than an order form. I'm not exactly sure how much it cost, it seemed like a lot, but it was fairly labor intensive and very custom. And the cake was DELICIOUS by the way, we had 3 tiers with different cake/filling combinations, and with the amount of cakes and fillings they offered us I imagine there are 100s if not 1,000s of possibilities. We also only ordered the cake 2 weeks before the event, which was just enough time for them! Overall a great experience!

We were very happy with our wedding cake. I gave them a picture from "The Knot" magazine of a cake done by Ron Ben Israel, and they matched it beautifully. Tricia was wonderful, she did our tasting and helped us with our design. The cake was absolutely delicious, I was very happy with Villa Italia!

Villa Italia was wonderful in preparing our wedding cake. At our appointment they took the time to help us choose the perfect cake and they were friendly and understanding at how important a decision a cake can be!! When all was said and done, the cake was absolutely stunning and perfect, exactly what we had ordered and people were definitely impressed with the work done on it. They go above and beyond to serve and accommodate their customers and their cakes are just ridiculously delicious!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend Villa Italia. Our cake was not a traditional white wedding cake so I was a bit concerned as to how it would turn out. Although I am not a huge cake person so I wasn't really overly worried, it was lower on my priority list. When I first saw it cake at the reception I felt like it was truly a work of art. It was the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen. And it tasted even better. My Italian aunt from Ohio who prides herself on her cooking and baking said that it was the most delicious cake that she had ever tasted. So much so that she and others had slices for breakfast the next morning : - ) The tasting process with Villa Italia was easy and fun and they were very accomodating based on our non-traditional wishes.

Our wedding cake was extremely deliscious, not a single guest had anything to say other than praise. Everything was as we had ordered it, and the cost was good. The delivery was on time, with friendly service. Thank you for the wonderful cake.

Villa Italia made me the most beautiful wedding cake that I have ever seen. They took my vision, and ideas and made it better than I could ever imagine. It is also great that they work with local vendors, and my cake was included in the price of my reception.

we went with Villa Italia because they were one of the only local vendors who made carrot cakes for weddings. The cake was very tasty and looked beautiful. They even let me design my own cake-it just happened to be almost identical to one they had in the book.

Villa Italia is a fantastic bakery. I worked there for a few years when I was younger and can attest that the cakes, pastries, an cookies are always fresh and tasty. My wedding cake was perfect, not a touch of icing out of place. We did not want to cut into it because of how beautiful it looked. Fortunately, we did and enjoyed the taste just as much as sight of it.
