Matt and all that he does is great! He will see the job is done right. He is easy to work with and very professional. He did my daughter's wedding, video, and what we got back I am very proud of. Fair price for all the attention that he pays for in doing the details. I highly recommend him.

Matt was such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding ended up being a bit chilly and rainy, but Matt was able to still produce such an awesome video. Matt was very professional. He was there to capture the getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception. We also hired him to video our rehearsal and my husband and I are so very happy we did. Our final video was delivered in about 4 weeks. We also bought the additional recap video set to our 1st dance and LOVED it. The video had the recap music video, the 45 minute edited wedding and such a funny out take video that had great memories I had forgotten. We are so very pleased that we choose Matt and Refining Fire Productions to be our videographer. Pictures are great for your wall, but video's bring to life the memories of a day I'll never forget. My husband and I gather the kids around the tv every October 8 to watch the video and every year we get to relive the wonderful memories your company produced for us. Thank you Matt!

I'm sorry to hear that you feltl like we did not play as many of your personal favorites as you had hoped. If this had been brought to my attention at the event I certainly would have stayed later at my expense to try to get any songs that we had missed that you had your heart set on.

I usually asked our clients to check off any songs that they like or they think their guests will like from the top 200 most requested wedding dance charts. In addition I ask clients to list ten to twenty personal request that may, or may not be on the list, broken into two lists; "play,'" and "must play.". They may also create a "do not play list.". We always try to do our best to fit in as many bride and groom requestes as possible starting with the "must play" list", wanting to make each of our events personal and unique. While we would love to play all of our clients listed requests, this can sometimes prove to be quite challenging and not always the best option if we are going to create an event that will be enjoyed by everyone. For example not all client requests may be well-suited for dancing. We try to incorporate as many request throughout the entire dinner and reception trying to use less danceable request durning dinner. The down side of this is that guests and clients are usually engaged in conversation and the tasks at hand and often don't relize their requests are being played. I recently had a groom come up to me and request a song from his "must play" list literally right after I had just got done playing it. It actually is not uncommon for us to get a request for a song we have already played, especially if the song is popular. When an event is going well everything can go by so fast in such a blur that the details of what songs have already been played can be easily overlooked or forgotten. The key to a great party is reading the crowed and figuring out what the majority of the guests are into, creating a fun engaging mix.
