We got married at Twenty Four Fifth in August 2012 and I couldn't have asked for more. The ballroom/setting was perfect, the food delicious, and the service beyond wonderful. Andrew, my bridal attendant, was wonderful and made sure I was taken care of throughout the evening. For the price vs. other similarly sized venues, we thought it was an absolute steal. We wanted to have a band and the big dance floor plus the layout of tables was perfect for us. If you are planning a wedding of 100~150 people in the city, you must look here. We got many compliments on the food and the staff was fantastic. Thank you, Twenty Four Fifth!

We don't have words for how happy we were with the wedding reception. It was absolutely perfect!!!
All of our friends and family complimented us on the venue including food/drinks, service and the beauty of Twenty Four Fifth. It was a true elegant NYC wedding.
We worked with Eva who was wonderful.
It is very clear that she loves her job and how successful she and Twenty Four fifth are at making an event reflect everything we could have hoped for and more.
Jo in the Bridal Suite was fantastic. I called her my "wedding angel". After hours of pictures, she was a godsend with her attentiveness and calm, professional demeanor. It was really special for us to have a quiet moment in the suite and we appreciated her help.
My parents, family and friends were thrilled with the event.
Twenty Four Fifth went above and beyond to make this the happiest day of our lives. We cannot recommend it enough.

We were married at Twenty Four Fifth in March. I had what I think is a larger wedding for the venue, 155 people, and also had kind of a lot of vendors and decor. That being said, everything was seamless and honestly, very close to perfect. I had high standards for what I expected from the venue, and they delivered. The food was literally Manhattan restaurant quality and the portions quite large. The service was impeccable. We looked at many venues in Manhattan and I can honestly say no one can beat the value/price ratio the Glacier Group gives. I had teetered back and forth between this venue and the Central Park Boathouse (which is probably a little more known to most people) and I can say that I definitely feel that I made the right choice. We had Eva, and as everyone says on the published reviews, she is awesome and does a great job. If you want to have an old New York, classy wedding with good quality food and service, do not hestiate to book Twenty Four Fifth!

We had our wedding at Twenty Four Fifth in September of 2011. We had always wanted to have the quintessential NY wedding consistent with the grandeur and elegance of the city that we love so much. Twenty Four Fifth fit that bill to a tee with its opulent décor complete with decorated mirrors, chandeliers, and sunken dance floor. Stepping into the ballroom made you feel like you were being transported to another time where glamour was king. Additionally, Twenty Four Fifth was different from many of the other wedding venues in Manhattan we previewed because it IS such a large space. We had close to 120 guests who fit very comfortably in the large ballroom, however admittedly, the cocktail hour was a bit crowded.

Due to its working relationship with Michael Jordan Steakhouse, the food at Twenty Four Fifth was very delicious and extremely well presented. We were slightly disappointed when we found out that our tasting would occur at Bridgewaters (Twenty Four Fifth's sister location in South Street Seaport) so in that respect, it was a little of a gamble of the caliber of food that would be presented on wedding day, however we will very pleasantly surprised.

We worked closely with our catering sales manager, Eva, throughout the wedding process. She was a helpful resource who guided us through the selection of many wedding details. Our bridal attendant, Andrew, was also an amazing asset, and on our wedding day, went above and beyond to not only make us happy, but our families happy.

Our only complaint about our experience at Twenty Four Fifth was that during our negotiations, we were informed that the addition of butlered sweets would be included in the dessert portion of the wedding. It was also written in the BEO (wedding contract). We were very disappointed to find out from our guests the next day that no butlered sweets were passed out. When we mentioned this to the company, we were further discouraged by their slowness to respond and unwillingness to find a solution that we considered suitable. We understand that although we did not pay for the butlered sweets and therefore are not entitled to a refund, a more reasonable solution other than "Well you can have another party and we'll provide butlered sweets then" or "You can come by and pick up a box of butlered sweets" would have been appreciated. It is because of this experience that we cannot give Twenty Four Fifth a completely positive review.

I stumbled upon Twenty Four Fifth in the back of a New York Weddings Magazine. At first my eye simply caught the attention of the price range listed, which was right where we needed it to be. Then I went to the website and fell in love. It was beautiful, elegant without being overly done like hotel banquet rooms can sometimes be. My husband and I wanted to keep with a turn of the Century theme and this was the place! It's art deco details, etched mirrors and grandeur of chandeliers were stunning.

We had mentioned it to our Wedding Planner who had been wanting to work with them as a vendor. It was an exciting discovery for all of us. We met with Brittani over there for a tour and breakdown of costs and services. What we loved most was how organized and efficient everyone was. They gave us a packet that listed every detail of menu choices, wines, additional services and package rates. Perhaps we caught them during an off season for our December wedding, but the prices were fantastic. We were offered in our package 6 appetizers, a carving station, crudites AND a signature beverage, in addition to the all night long open premium open bar and 4 course sit down meal.

Even more awesome was the cake. They create the design of the cake for you by using fondant over foam core leaving a small section with real cake for cutting and photos. By doing this they're able to customize intricate icing designs without additional costs and serve nice beautiful slices of cake that the chef hand decorates in the kitchen. No waiting 40 minutes for them to slice up an entire cake, no messy sloppy heaps of cake and frosting.

On the night of, we were given our own private waiter that truly tended to all our needs. He was fantastic and so pleasant throughout.

Our wedding consisted of 110 Guests. Though our list was on the smaller size we still wanted to have a place that wasn't too cramped or too cavernous. Twenty Four Fifth was intimate, yet still had a wonderfully large dancefloor and area for a band.

Of course everyone always asks "How was the food though? Banquet mediocre?".... NO! It was absolutely fabulous. Tasted like a five star restaurant seriously. We were blown away from start to finish.

This is definitely a spot worth checking out!

This venue was beautiful and everything I was looking for especially for a smaller wedding. They were willing to work with us for a lot of things but were stubborn about some others. Overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a city wedding.

Twenty Four Fifth is a beautiful art deco ballroom on Fifth Avenue between 9th and 10th St. run by the Glazier Group of Bridgewaters fame. This venue is more intimate and feels totally different than Bridgewaters (very old New York). As you would expect, the food is amazing. All of our guests raved about the appetizers, the entrees and the amazingly beautiful and classic wedding cake. If you book them, you MUST get the fried potato rings. It sounds disgusting and fast-foody, but they are the best thing in the world.

We were incredibly pleased with their flexibility and ability to work with our budget. They were willing to let us do away with stations to reduce the cost per head. We had some last minute cancellations that we had to deal with and they even allowed us to add an appetizer to make up the cost differential.

The day of was amazing. They made sure that everything ran perfectly and they treated me and my husband like we were royalty. They checked with us constantly to make sure that we had everything we needed, brought us food, champagne, drinks, hors d'oeuvres and attended to us (and our guests, of course) all night long. When my bustle broke during the reception, their staff rebuilt the whole thing! At the end of the night, they packed everything up for us and put it into a cab with my mom to take home and sent us off to our hotel for the night. They could not have been greater.
