Trudys provided a magical and fun dress shopping experience for myself and my girls. The staff for bridal gowns was very knowledgeable and easy to work with, and they helped me find a gorgeous gown that made me look and feel more amazing than I ever thought possible with my budget.

After learning that a few of my friends got their dress at Trudy's, I decided to go there too. Didi was my bridal consultant and she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and incorporate that into the wedding venue as well. After trying on two dresses and describing to her what I liked and didn't like, she pulled a dress that was perfect! I ended up buying the 3rd dress I tried! My dress came in sooner than quoted and my second appointment to try on my dress and select accessories went perfectly again. I would definitely recommend Trudy's!

I got my gorgeous wedding dress at Trudy's. They knew exactly what I wanted. I would have liked to see more different styles, but maybe that was their way of making sure I didn't have too many choices. You have to make sure that you have a flexible schedule, because you can't walk in to try dresses on with out an appointment.

Trudy's was the first place I went to try on wedding gowns and I did end up purchasing my first wedding gown here. I say my first because I ended up purchasing a second one somewhere else.

I felt pressured into buying my dress, my consultant told me that I only had a few more months before they were going to discontinue it and if it didn't get discontinued the price would go up. I also found this dress at another salon cheaper and they told me they wouldn't match the price because they didn't want to be know as bargainers. Trudy's did end up giving me $100 credit to be used in store on accessories.

If you want a fun relaxing ecperience Trudy's is not the place to go. I felt pressured and rushed.

My mom and I went to Trudy's "just to look." I was 100% sure I wanted a halter style but went with my heart and my parents bought me the most drop-dead incredible dress I have ever seen. That dress was less than $900 and I felt I was never treated differently than another bride who may be spending 10-20 times more than us. The staff was informative, prompt and helpful - they gave me a huge swatch of fabric so I could proceed to match that shade of ivory. Oh, and they let you take as many photos as you want! The staff in bridal are honest (re: style + body type), not-pushy, flexible and pleasant.
The staff in the bridesmaid section were energetic and enthusiastic yet, a bit scattered and, at times, unorganized, ie: they gave the wrong dresses to the bridesmaids. They were willing to keep bringing piles of dresses to the maids & my mom.
Overall, I was thrilled with my purchase there.

Trudy's was awesome! Cathy was a great "sales lady" and made me feel completely comfortable. I DO NOT suggest having a "Say Yes To The Dress" moment and having 7++ people with you while trying on dresses. WAY TOO many people, opions, and attitudes. I went with my two best girlfriends and narrowed it down to 2 dresses (after only trying on like 5 - be open to suggestions from the sales staff, they know body types, what works what doesn't). I went to David's Bridal after being at Trudy's, just to compare, because I had an appt, but wow what a difference in the quality of dresses, the staff, the store set up, etc... We went back to Trudy's the same day, called my Mom to meet for her opinion (got to ask if she is paying :) and BOUGHT A DRESS. I was so happy to not have this ordeal drag out and I firmly believe it's because the way Trudy's conducts it's business. Also, they have a great selection of other dresses and accessories.

I had mixed feeling about Trudy's. I had heard SO many wonderful things about buying a wedding dress there. And when I was shopping and trying on dresses, that ABSOLUTELY was true. Shannon, my consultant, was amazing and I love love love my dress. But everything after placing the order was less to be desired. I came in for my first fitting and it fit like a glove, but there were a few minor imperfections on the dress. I'm pretty laid back, so as long as they were attended to, that's all that mattered and i was happy as a clam. The consultant was a little irritating that day (different lady) I felt like I was "bothering" her with my petty questions about tacking, and loose threads. She brought over a seamstress, or so she claimed to be promising to fix everything. Then weeks go by and I hear nothing. I call, and they have NO record of anything needing to be done. So I have to drive all the way back there by 6pm to meet with the seamstress who is not available on weekends and always leaves at 6pm. Mind you I work in South San Francisco and don't get off until 5pm. So this additional trip is a little bit of a hassel. So I manage to make it, for the 3rd appointment, I find out that there was no seamstress there the day I came in for my first fitting. "Who the hell was that other lady and why did that consultant bring her over." Very annoying. So the head seamstress promised me she would fix everything and press it so I can make sure there's no more mistakes. So a week goes by I come back in for a 4th time on the seamstress's schedule. everything is fixed, but it is not pressed... no matter I just wanted it to be done and over with. So my advice for brides is to ONLY meet with the HEAD seamstress and no one else with addressing dress issues.

Trudy's provides the whole shibang as far as your bridal gown, bridal party's attire, and alterations. The service was great but the pricing was certainly on the high side. Since I special ordered my gown (Alfred Angelo 1516), I wanted to make sure everything was absolutely perfect and opted for the higher price tag. However, for my bridesmaids, we ordered from www.houeofbrides.com instead since it was much cheaper and Trudy was unwilling to come anywhere close to their price.

Trudy's provided flawless, professional services to me and my mother. We love Trudy's and will recommend them to everyone!

This place had a decent selection of plus size designer dresses. "designer" being more 'upscale" that that chain Bridal Store.. The only draw back was that they don't do alterations on site. You have to find your own..

Bought my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses here, the services were very accommodable. Everyone was super sweet to us. Everyone dresses came on time. Especially my bridal dress, came in within 3 months. Prices were within my budget, and the dress style I wanted was similar to the one I bought. Thank you!

I checked out Trudy's and my were the dresses gorgeous!! My sister had purchased her prom dress here a couple of years back and my sister-in-law purchased her dress here for her upcoming 3/26/11 wedding. Although I did not end up purchasing my dress here as I live in LA and made it down to just shop one time, I would highly recommend trying them as they have gorgeous gorgeous dresses and the service is superb!

I absolutely love my dress! It was within my budget and was $1000-2000 less than other bridal boutiques.

Trudy's was amazing and so helpful. I found the perfect dress and it was so easy to work with them. My dress might not be able to come in until the week before the wedding. But they told me to keep calling them and seeing if the order could be rushed. So, I called and they kept me calm and assured me it would be in on time. Then the dress came in 3 weeks early! It worked out perfect. When I went with my mom to get the dress, Trudy her self helped us find the perfect hair accessory. Thanks for everything Trudy!

Trudy's is great!

I love trudys! I walked into the store (with an appointment of course) and the girls there helped me right away. Sat me down with my entourage I brought with me (haha) and got to work. I told them some things that I wanted and some things that I didn't want. They brought out multiple dresses and I put on my dress and that was it!! They were honest and caring staff. Trudy herself even came over and gave here opinion and of course she knows what shes doing so it all mattered! I loved trudys so much I even got all the bridesmaids dresses there and my dress altered across the way. I would highly recommend them for any dress for any occassion!!
