we were both looking for rings that were eco friendly and special, so we decided we would go with wooden rings. we searched the internet for a while, finding some that were very pretty, but nothing that we fell in love with, until we found touchwood rings. they were stunning. each is personally made and designed by you, with their help. they send you pictures of the construction along the way. they can also add something of yours to the ring, wood, stones, sand- something that has a deep meaning to you that you can forever have in your rings. we used a personal piece of wood in the center of ours and absolutely adore our rings. they need more care (they are wood- and although coated, are more delicate than metal) but can be recoated as time goes on. the people who make them are wonderful and emotional, and there is such love put into every piece. we show our rings to everyone we can and tell the story of our wood in the center to those who know its source. everyone thinks they are gorgeous and are amazed what you can do with wood. we will cherish our rings always and are so happy with something that is so special to us and so much more meaningful than just a generic, group manufactured, piece of metal.
