After trying on dresses at Davids, I felt at a loss for finding a nice dress that wasn't big and poufy. Terry picked the dress I ended up with right away, and even though at first it was a little out of my price range I was able to buy the sample for reduced price that fit my budget!

My first dress shopping appointment was with Terry at TLC and the experience was great! Although I ended up falling in love with a dress from a different shop, I came back to Terry to puchase my shoes and she and her staff were a wonderful. They were able to help me pick the perfect shade of pink to have my shoes dyed, as well as having the shipment rushed. Thanks again ladies!

After trying several dress shops with no luck and not feeling like anyone really listened to what I was looking for, I found Terry Warfield and TLC. Terry knows wedding dresses and really listens to you and what you are looking for. She is honest and not pushy. During my first trip to TLC I tried on several dresses and explained what I liked or didn't like about each. Unfortunately at the time, they did not have exactly what I wanted in stock. Not long after that visit, I got an email from Terry about a dress she had just gotten in that she thought would be perfect for me. She was right! It ended up being the dress I chose! It was exactly what I had pictured! Terry even found the perfect veil for me to go with the dress. I was also able to order shoes and adorable flower girl dresses from TLC with ease. Terry and her staff were wonderful and professional throughout the whole process! I would definitely recommend TLC to all brides!

I absolutely loved my dress vendor! They were very easy to work with, kind, and helped me get the dress I wanted, and the same can be said for my bridesmaids (5 of my 6 went to them, the 6th girl lives in Florida, so had to go locally for her). I had seen the dress I wanted on theknot.com, an A-line strapless Alfred Angelo dress with purple accents and a lace up back. It was perfect! And the first dress I tried on. They said they never had a girl go with the first dress she tried on, so I guess I have that distinction of being the first. I tried a few others on, with trains, more elaborate designs, etc, but I felt the best in the original one I picked. It only had a slight drag in the back, which was perfect for me. I didnt want all that drag to make me hot and frustrated.
Each of my bridesmaids got the same color dress, but each got a different style. It worked well, and each girl was able to pick one she liked. The dress shop also provided a list of alteration shops, and luckily we picked one who did a great job on the dress, though I admit, I didnt need much done to it.
All in all, great shop, with nice ladies, and the dresses come in pretty quickly too!

After going to 6 different bridal salons - from the standard fair David's Bridal to Hannelore's in Alexandria and everything between - I happened upon TLC Bridal. Although I did not have an appointment, they allowed me to squeeze in between appointments since my mom was in town for the weekend and leaving the next day. After trying on so many dresses up to this point, I knew as soon as I tried my Casablanca gown on that I had found the one. After doing some price comparisons with other bridal boutiques that sold my dress I learned that TLC was a bit more expensive than the others, however they graciously matched the price for me so I was able to purchase my dress in Frederick. While I love my dress and was so pleased that they squeezed me in for the initial dress selection process, the staff was somewhat hot and cold in subsequent visits. Sometimes some of the staff was very friendly and accomodating, other times if you caught them when they were very busy they were somewhat abrupt with me. Finally, they were very up-front about it, but they do not offer alteration services through TLC. They do contract with a couple seamstresses who will come to TLC after hours, but I actually ended up getting my alterations done closer to my office in Rockville. This concerned me at first, as if something had happened to the dress during alterations the shop would not have been liable, but I found a great seamstress, so it worked out perfectly!!!
Pricing is for my dress, veil, shoes and slip.

Mediocre experience ? Terry the owner was helpful but distracted. I purchased my wedding dress here and my bridesmaids all purchased their dresses here. My only compliant was that my bridesmaids also purchased dye able shoes from TLC and arranged for them to be dyed by TLC. All the girls purchased their shoes at various time and all paid the same quoted price for the shoes and for the dye job. They were all called back later by TLC and told that they would need to pay an additional $20 to dye the shoes. This seems slightly dishonest to me (to charge one price and then call back to demand more money) and soured my impression of the store.

I decided to buy my wedding dress from TLC because it was a local and privately owned small business. Terry and her staff are very helpful and accommodating. My dress arrived 2 weeks after we ordered it. When it first arrived, we thought it seemed a little snug. But, assumed I would lose weight and it would fit perfectly. Four months later (and 4 months before the wedding date), it fit even worse, and I had lost 5 pounds! Terry was helpful enough to send the dress back and ordered a size 10 (I normally wear a size 4). We learned that the dress I ordered runs about 2 dress sizes small. But, she was able to make an even exchange for the dress size with no extra cost. Minor alterations were needed....and the dress was perfect! I did not purchase any other items from TLC, but I did have my shoes dyed there...they had them done in 2 days. I would recommend TLC bridal to any future bride in the Frederick, MD area.

I was a plus-sized bride, and I had tried on two different gowns I'd fallen in love with in bridal shops in TN and NV. My mother lives in MD, so I wanted her to see me in these dresses before I made a final decision. I called about 20 bridal shops in Maryland, and then I called TLC Bridal. Terri answered the phone and I told her which two dresses I was looking for. She didn't have them, but she had similar dresses from different designers. I made an appointment to go try on the dresses, and both looked nice. Terri pulled out a couple of other ones for me to try on, saying that she had one she really thought I'd love. She was right--the one I ended up purchasing was entirely different from the original two choices! Terri and her team were phenomenal to work with, and I will continue to recommend her to every Maryland bride I know!

Terry and her sales associates at TLC Bridal Boutique are truly amazing. All of my visits to the shop before, during, and after the gown shopping process far exceeded my expectations. During each visit I was greeted by friendly staff members, my needs were discussed, I received a high level of service that focused on meeting my needs and sticking to my budget, I was always treated with respect, and I felt totally comfortable with the entire staff to the point that they felt a little like family (especially Terry). I highly recommend that you visit TLC Bridal Boutique if you have not already, and I encourage you to spread the word to all of your friends. TLC's service is truly unbeatable! Good luck as you shop for your dream gown.

TLC Bridal boutique was the first and last place I went for my wedding dress! Without the knowledgeable staff I never would have looked twice at my perfect dress. I've never felt so beautiful in a dress and I have them to thank for that! They really know what they're doing and what dresses work on what body types. I can't say how thankful I am that I got to work with them!

My wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses were purchased from TLC bridal. TLC has an extensive variety of bridal gowns to meet anyone's price needs, and my Alfred Angelo gown was just gorgeous and didn't break the bank! They also have a large selection of bridesmaid dresses and we found the perfect dresses for my wedding. The only snag was my mother-in-law's dress- the wrong dress was ordered but thankfully TLC gave her her money back and we managed to find another dress.

The shop owner waited on us personally. She was very helpful and really listened to what I was looking for. I'm not sure I'd recommend the seamstress she suggested, but overall, I was very pleased with the service I received at this shop.

Every Bride knows how frustrating it can e trying to find a dress. I went to this shop for the first time and when I went in I swore to myself my gown was in there. I tried in some dresses that were completely goregous! Penny was such a sweet lady and she helped me and gave me wonderful advise on my gown search. There was one dress I loved, so I came back with my mother and I showed her. Of course she didnt like it but, Terry suggested I try on this one gown. I tried the dress on and fell head over heals in love with it. My mother cried. everyone had my wedding said how lovely this dress was. =) I wouldn't have found my perfect dress without their wonderful taste in dresses and the ability to know what dress is going to look good on what body type! I would HIGHLY recommend going to this shop! its the best in the area. :) thank you guys!
