Donna was late to first the fitting. She had my dress for a month and when I went for the final fitting she had not any of the work completed. I had to leave town without knowing if the dress would be ready for the wedding. I tried to arrange a time to drive back into town for a final fitting but she said it was not necessary. She promised the dress would fit. She lied. When I met with my mother and the dress at the out of town location of the wedding, we realized the the dress was too large and there was no time to fix it. She did not do the work on the dress. It was so horrible that the guests commented on how the dress did not fit. Her lack of professionalism ruined everything! I had to walked funny to hold up the dress, I could not lean forward for fear of falling out of my strapless dress. The pictures didn't turn out. I was the worst dressed at my own wedding!! I was humiliating and embarrassing. The very worst experience of my life. I do not recommend her and will never use her services again.

If you are tired of David's Bridal or all the other cookie cutter dresses, talk to Donna at Threadworks. I had a specific dress in mind, found a pattern, and Donna turned it into a dream! Price really was not much different than me purchasing at a store then altering it to the correct size. It quite possibly was cheaper for me to have it made. Donna also made my mom's dress and jacket and my aunt's suit. It took maybe 3 months total.
