I really liked Rev. Marx's ceremony, unfortunately during the vows he asked me if "I take this woman" referring to my husband!....pretty big goof up that everyone was able to laugh off at the time, but still something that should not have happened. He met with us for a rehearsal the day of the wedding, which we had to pay for, and then he had to go do another wedding, so he could only stay for 20 minutes. He did a good job of informing everyone where they would stand and how they should walk down the aisle, etc. He is clearly very experienced in performing weddings on Mackinac Island. I wasn't overly thrilled with him as my officiant, but at the end of the day he got the job done.

Tom is a summer bird that heads South to Florida for the winter, but if you can catch him in the summer on Mackinac Island, then you MUST have him as your officiant. Tom is very down to earth and a great person to work with.
