Our DJ Steve was fantastic! He was so gracious to work with us and give us extra time for our song list selection (up until the week before the wedding!) and had every song we requested! After he set up a great order for the music, he went back through the songs with us and allowed us to switch anything we wanted. He is very personable and friendly and willing to help us with anything! I would absolutely recommend him and this company to anyone who is looking for that "personal touch" but who also appreciates a good quality service!

I can't say enough good things about Ryan and Andrea - the Simple DJ team! Ryan was extremely responsive whenever I had any questions before the event, and he made sure we understood exactly what we were getting - a DJ who would play exactly what we wanted, and who would keep the attention focused on us and our guests rather than himself.

Andrea will emcee your event if you wish, and I recommend that you have her do it. She's wonderful to work with, too - she acts as a sort of coordinator during the reception to make sure you get in all of the "activities" (first dance, cake cutting, etc.) exactly when you want them to occur. Believe me, you will be so busy enjoying yourself that you will forget when and where you are supposed to be - Andrea is there to keep you on track and make sure things happen when you want them to.

They were also wonderful about requests from guests. We had created our entire playlist, but we had said we were open to requests from guests, except a very few songs on our Do Not Play. They were firm about not playing those Do Not Play songs, and still keeping our guests happy.

All of this great service, and they were very reasonably priced, too!

These guys were sweet. It really is, a simple DJ. You pick the songs--this was super fun. We made an iTunes playlist, emailed it to him, and he took care of the rest. No corniness here. Ryan's wife does the emcee'ing only when you want them to. You are given a reception planner where you list songs and things you want mentioned...and they listen to you. No qualms, I would happily and repeatedly recommend these guys if you just want good music at your wedding. No cringing.

Ryan and Angela were both wonderful to work with! We were thrilled that they only played our songs without the normal cheesy DJ talking. We would recommend to anyone and everyone! They were great!

Ryan and Andrea went above and beyond at both the ceremony and the reception. At the ceremony, Andrea worked as a coordinator to ensure everyone entered the room at the right time. At the reception, they worked around the schedule that went off schedule (majorly) and got it back on schedule. Also, even though they work off a music list you choose, they still feel out the crowd and play what they find to be most appropriate off your list--which is key at most reception, especially ours. Their unique style also allows great flexibility in their set-up: they work with you! FYI, if you're interested in a DIY-iPod wedding, they rent out equipment specifically for that too.

Perfect for couples who don't want the corny DJ at their wedding. He is easy to work with and allows you to pick the music you want played! He went above and beyond my expectations! I would definately recommend!
