All the ladies at The Wedding Place were absolutely wonderful! They were kind and responsive, not pushy and demanding like the ladies I met at David's Bridal. They were really able to listen to me and my bridesmaids to find out how to best help us. When my bridesmaids picked a strapless dress (which I did not want) they were able to offer me professional advice about how the dress could be modified so that the girls would be happy and I would be happy. When the straps on my dress didn't fit right just a couple days before the wedding, the ladies were able to work with me on how to quickly change it so it was comfortable but had the same look. After I ordered my dress from them, they made sure to let me know every time they were having a big sale/trunk show for other things, and they gave me free tickets to their events. They were able to help me make decisions in several different areas of the wedding with advice in other areas too. Because I ordered all of the wedding attire through them, I was able to get several discounts, such as a free tux rental for my husband. I cannot say enough about how glad I am that I chose this vendor for my wedding!

They got me my dress only 1 day before my wedding. I had ordered it 6 months before from them and thats the soonest they said they could get it to me. Loved my dress... they just made my nervous!

As far as dresses go, The Wedding Place is great. I found my dress somewhere else and they were able to order it for me for less. The seamstress was so pleasant to work with, although with everyone working and not living in town, her times were not always easy to work around. I would definitely recommend this shop as far as dresses go. However, we also got our tuxes there and it was the worst experience of our entire wedding planning process. They had measurements for all of the guys weeks before it was time to order, yet somehow FIVE of the guys got the wrong size shirt, as in XL when they needed small or medium. The groom got size 15 shoes and they told him they would be unable to give him a refund since he had received shoes, even though they were the wrong size. Several of the white shirts had noticeable stains on them. Everyone's vests were the wrong color. Not enough to ruin the day, but enough to add a lot of unnecessary stress!

The only reason I score them a little bit low in a couple of categories is becuase there is one person in particular who works there that gives them a bad name. This shop is full of extremely helpful, friendly staff and this one female gives them a bad name. My sister-in-law went in and experience this particular person and for that reason only, went to a different place. Outside of that one bad egg, the prices are fantastic. Their staff is knowledgeable and enjoyable and their limited selection has something for everyone. I found it much more appealing to go to this small shop for more personalized service.

The wedding place not only provided a wide selection of dresses for me, but also for my bridesmaids and my mother. They had several books to look at if you couldn't find anything you liked at their location. If you found something you liked somewhere else, they could look it up for you and get it for cheaper. They treated you like you were the only bride there and even offered trunk shows and headpiece and veil shows, where i was able to get my hair and makeup done and select the headpiece of my choice!

The wedding place was amazing. My only complaint was that there alteration hours were hard to work with. Although, if I was living in Ft. Wayne it wouldn't have been a problem. They help you try the dresses on, they give you honest feedback and they don't make you try on dresses that you don't want. I took a friend there to shop for her dress and the service was just great!

The Wedding Place made my day special. They were truly spectacular in everything they did. I was never pressured out of my style, but encouraged in what I wanted regardless of the pricetag. They worked with me on everything and just made being there a true pleasure. Nothing was a hindrance. They were very personal and friendly and truly earn their fabulous reputation. I would definately use them again!
