To accommodate our toppers, the cake had to be lined up at the back, rather than centered. When Nadia suggested that, we agreed to it, but didn't know what it would look like. When we arrived at our reception, the cake looked like it might tip over. The DJ even joked about it being the "leaning tower of Piza". We realize that we agreed to it (via email)... I would imagine someone going above and beyond the call of duty would have contacted us again once they realized that it didn't look very good and made alternate suggestions. You would think that a vendor would want their product to look amazing; not like a cake about to fall over. Nadia was very polite and kind to us and the cake tasted great, but our photographer had to take very strategic pictures, and my sister panicked when she saw the cake, thinking it was going to fall over. Overall, we think Nadia is a nice person and a good baker, but the presentation left much to be desired.

I am sorry you feel this way. When I deliver my cakes I ensure that they look beautiful. I take pride in my work and if I saw that there was something wrong with the cake when I dropped it off, I would have fixed it. With your cake, it was delivered around 1pm and looked stunning when I left. Part of my delivery process is to take a picture of the cake on the cake table. As you can see it is not leaning.
Nonetheless, it is possible that the cake may have developed a lean. When I dropped the cake off to your venue, the air was not on in the hall and as you remember it was a hot day. Also it is possible that one of the staff at the hall may have moved the cake. If the cake was not picked up properly, the cake could very well have shifted.
