The Sky Room was by far the best venue to choose for professionalism and values. Yesenia was my wedding coordinator and she abosolutely made my dreams come true. She went above and beyound the call of duty. The Chapel was exquisite. The reception was lovely. The wait staff was extremely kind and extremely professional. I would absolute recommed The Skyroom to any couple look for an outstanding wediding venue.

The Sky Room was beautiful & elegant !! We had looked at many different places but nothing compared to the professionalism of the staff. We can't say enough wonderful things about Yesenia. She is AMAZING & made the wedding so special and wonderful!!! Things would not have been the same without her !! We also love Jonathan & Marty. Whenever we stopped in without an appointment Jonathan would stop what he was doing and help us with whatever we asked. You will never find a better waiter than Marty!! Our Daughters wedding was a month ago & we are still getting calls telling us that it was the best wedding that people had ever been to. The food was beyond delicious & everyone loved being able to place their orders. Everyone said that the filet mignon was one of the best that they've had. The venue & staff exceeded our expectations!!! Yesenia provided wonderful advice & made us feel as tho she cared about us rather than trying to get us to spend unnecessary money. The view is spectacular & the evening lights were beautiful. We will celebrate all of our special moments at the Sky Room. Yesenia, Jonathan & Marty have forever left their prints in our hearts. We will never forget them or that day & hope to stay in touch with them!!!!!

All my guests loved the view. Things didn't go exactly as planned but overall, we had a great time. Yesenia was so accomodating to our requests, with our last meeting before the wedding.. we felt confident that she was taking care of everything. Wonderful person to work with :)

We were very pleased with our Sky Room wedding ceremony and reception. The food, cocktails/wine, and service were great. Yesenia was responsive, easy to work with, and totally on top of things. The Sky Room does a lot of weddings and special events, so they were prepared for everything, already established with vendors, etc. In other words -- NO SURPRISES. That's a good thing on your big day.

We shopped a lot of venues and were aghast at the prices most places were asking -- in this modern era of absurdly priced wedding/reception venues, the Sky Room delivers a better value than the vast majority of other venues. Highly recommended.

I has the pleasure of working with Yesenia Guevara for over a year to plan my daughter's wedding at the beautiful Sky Room. The venue was spectacular and their service was outstanding. The dining experience was excellent. There are simply not enough good things to say about the food. It was prepared and served like a fine dining experience at a restaurant. We received compliments all evening long.
Yesenia Guevara provided a high level of service and answered all of our questions quickly and when she couldn't she put us in touch with someone who could. Yesenia got every detail of our set up exactly perfect. She told me to enjoy the day getting ready with my daughter and check the room just before the wedding. When I went up to see the room I couldn't have been more impressed. I am very impressed with the entire experience at the Sky Room.
In the chapel, Yesenia made sure everything was perfect before my daughter walked down the aisle and never made us feel rushed. She brought us water and even coaxed a reluctant 3 yr old ring barer into taking the pillow down the aisle instead of a camera!
I would highly recommend this venue and requesting Yesenia as your coordinator. She is a dream to work with! Highest compliments!!

Service was the best I've seen in a long time. Our Catering sales manager Yesenia is the nicest helpful person I've ever dealt with as for as planning an event. She was available for us anytime we needed her. The venue itself was amazing and I would encourage anyone to have a wedding or just a party there and you are sure to impress your guest. To be able to look 360 degrees around and get a great view was awesome.

The Sky Room is a hidden treasure in Long Beach. Along with a view to die for, the personal service was beyond exceptional. The catering manager went over and beyond the call of duty to make my wedding day the best day of my life. Every aspect of the planning; from food tasting, to flowers, room set up, and parking were taken care of with the highest level of professionalism. To date, everyone has raved about the attentive service they recieved before, during, and after the reception. My husband and I look forward to going back each year to say hello to the staff and experience the magic all over again. The food, service and location make The Sky Room my pic for anyone who is looking for an exceptional event experience.

What a night! This was the second venue we visited and as soon as we stepped off the elevator at the top we both knew we'd found the spot! It has a very swanky old Hollywood vibe to it-the only additional decor we added was candles, a couple vases throughout the place, and some black satin table cloths, as the decor of the restaurant is plenty in itself! Not for someone who has a very specific vision because not a lot of color schemes/decor styles will work here but if you are ok with a very cozy, sophisticated restaurant vibe (versus a blank banquet hall or ballroom) this is the spot. Food was incredible, bar service was amazing (we got many compliments ) and like I said, the vibe of the place was incredible!

Staff was very helpful, easy to work with. Food was GREAT & the venue sells itself, beautiful views everywhere your eyes wander.

We booked our Reception here a year in advance because we had picked a date near the holidays and wanted to ensure we got our date. However, picking a date near the holidays was probably not a good idea because it doesn't seem like there is enough staff for them make sure everything is set up on time and running as planned. Your event planner, the person you hash out all the details with before your wedding will NOT be at the reception coordinating--she wont even be on site. Of course this was not disclosed to us until a few days before the wedding, which was disappointing because NO ONE seemed to know what was going on that day (nor that we were having a wedding--I had to call while I was getting ready to tell them that we were having our wedding there that day and that my sister had had tried to leave our guest sign-in book that morning but whoever was present had no clue what was going on.) Also, its clear that as with any business, they are there really to take care of themselves and not you the Bride. With that said, it is a good value as you are free to spend the amount required however you want, in terms of food and alcohol, and can bring in a number of people for a good price. The food is delicious, and the room is beautiful and spacious. If you can afford a wedding planner to handle all the nitty-gritty of the day, then I would say definitely hire one because you won't have someone to take care of things at the Sky Room and you will probably need someone to remind them what is taking place there that day.
