Hiring Katie may have been the absolute best decision that I made when it came to my wedding. My mom and I hired her as our day of coordinator, but she did so much more than that. I sent Katie about a million emails with all sorts of questiosn and she was great about getting back to me quickly and with creative and wonderful answers.

She was a total lifesaver in the few weeks leading up to the wedding. Between coordinating with all of my vendors and setting up schedules for everyone involved, she made things runs smoothly and efficiently. And having Katie there gave my mom the freedom to spend the day with me.

The entire wedding was perfect, even better than I had anticipated. A huge thanks to Katie for keeping me cool and calm through the whole thing! She was worth every single penny and more!

Katie was awesome! From start to finish, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Throughout the whole process, and especially the few weeks leading up to the wedding, my mom and I could not stop talking about how lucky we were to have her helping us. We hired her as our day-of coordinator, but she honestly did so much more than helping us on the day of. She helped ease a lot of my stress and worry, especially the last few weeks leading up to the wedding when I really started to become anxious about the big day. I consider myself very organized, and it was such a relief to work with someone who was just as organized and on top of things. Katie made it easy for me to just relax and enjoy my wedding day; I knew I didn't need to worry about anything, because she would be on top of it. I received many compliments from my guests and wedding party at the rehearsal dinner and after the wedding about how organized and well-planned everything was. It is seriously all thanks to Katie and her attention to detail. At the rehearsal dinner and on the day of the wedding she thought of so many little things that I didn't even think of, and I am so thankful for her help.

Katie is a true professional. She responded to all of my emails (there were a lot of them!) promptly and in great detail. She contacted all of my vendors, provided timelines for our bridal party, and managed every last detail on the wedding day. She definitely went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. I did a lot of research before I chose my coordinator, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone as organized and professional as Katie. She is easy to talk to, intelligent, professional, organized, and just fun to be around, too. She really is great at what she does, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her.

The Savvy Event is a great company. Katie is exceptional! She helped us with the planning and the organizing of our wedding ceremony two weeks ago and everything was picture perfect.

She worked within our budget to find a great florist in the Chicago area, located bargain deals on all of the materials for the church decor, set up all of the decor, helped get our wedding party in line on the big day and more! She is very smart ,organized, creative and resourceful. I would recommend her to any bride/groom and trust that she will do a phenomonal job!

Katie was so much more than words can say! We hired her as our "day of" planner to cover set up and make sure things ran smoothly. She was consistently in contact with us via email and phone to make sure we were on the right track and to share great ideas! I asked so many questions and Katie was always prompt with answering and always friendly! We couldnt have asked for a better planner, she really made our wedding day extra special!!

Katie was an absolute god send when it came to taking care of the million details that unfold over the course of planning a wedding. She saved me so much money that she definitely covered her own fees and then some. She designed and hand crafted the most beautiful invitations for our wedding which saved us a small fortune alone. Day after day my e-mail was full of beautiful assortments of fonts, scrolls, and layouts all tailored to our specific tastes. The invitations came out perfect and it was a rewarding hands on experience to work so closely with Katie as she designed more options than were possibly needed. She coordinated my vendors, negotiated pricing, then negotiated some more until we had the wedding of our dreams well under budget. On the big day Katie was perfect, her presence was soothing and calming as she ironed out all the wrinkles- many I was not even aware of. When things ran behind Katie calmly told me not to worry, that this was my big day, and nothing was happening without me. Then she called everyone and reorganized the timetables when hair and make up ran late.

Katie took the time to carefully oversee every last detail of my wedding as if it were her own. Her organization, creativity, and calm assured natured made our wedding day more magical than we could have ever imagined possible. Thank you Katie. You really are extraordinary.

Choosing Katie as my day-of coordinator was honestly the best decision I made in the wedding planning process. Katie is amazing- she is so kind, genuine, really easy to talk to, as well as incredibly professional. She went above and beyond what I expected. I found her after my venue canceled on me and I needed to find a new site 5 months out. I reached out to her and before I even signed a contract, she spent a ton of time helping me out via email and by phone. Once we officially began working together, she constantly reached out to me to see if I needed any help or support. She remembered every detail I shared with her and made sure she had everything memorized for the day of- she is very meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.

On the day of, she made sure everything went smoothly and looked beautiful. I'm sure there were some hiccups, but I had absolutely no idea. She allowed me to have a stress-free day and to just enjoy everything as it came. I really cannot say enough about her- I am so glad I found her!

I actually wish I had met her earlier and just hired her to do more of the actual planning rather than just the day-of coordination. I would recommend Katie and The Savvy Event to anyone and will certainly be recommending her to any friends who are planning weddings in Phoenix and Chicago.
