I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer. Hiring her as our wedding planner was the best decision we made. She is so knowledgeable, she can tell you the best band, where to get your dress and everything in between but more importantly she knows how to keep the wedding party happy, how to remove stains from your dress, and how to get everyone down the aisle smiling, no matter how nervous they are. She even bandaged up one of my guests who got a cut on their leg! She saved us way more money than it cost to hire her and she made our lives easier throughout the entire planning process. I can safely say that hiring Jennifer guarantees an overall great wedding experience.
Jennifer was able to take our vision and make it a reality! She referred us to some great vendors, manage our massive bridal party and the many personalized details of the planning process. If I were to describe Jennifer, she would be the perfect bridesmaid, loyal, honest, and a dedicated friend who understands the significance of the little things. The wedding was beautiful and all of our guests were amazed with the creative details and how seamlessly the evening transpired. They kept asking who Jennifer was, following with the comments like "She is amazing!" and "What a firecracker, she doesn't stop!" It was truly an affair to remember.
)We contacted her for assistance as a day-of-coordinator, but she provided much more than that. Through her professional contacts and business, we were able to obtain wedding invitations, chairs, and gifts for ushers/best man/matron of honor/reader at a substantial discount. But her services as a coordinator were the best value of all. Every meeting that we had with her was so useful and helped us feel comfortable that we were moving forward and meeting deadlines.
The services received by Jennifer Pearl was amazing. On this very special day for a bride, I will say that the services went beyond just a service. The Rare Affair goes out of their way to make everything a success. Though our services were not a full all out wedding, everything was done as we expected which was great. We had no worries even up to the last minute details. Thank you so much.
My husband and I went through a rollercoaster planning our wedding and Jennifer stuck by us through thick and thin. We CHANGED our wedding date 4 times. She was there for US AT ALL TIMES! A bride should be relaxed and calm. Stress Free. I was all of the above THANKS to Jennifer. I recommend Jennifer and her crew to any bride. She is the BEST! We are sad the wedding planning is over. I have nothing but the best things to say about Jennifer and her assitant. They were wonderful, one step ahead of me the whole time. Her timeline was perfect, the whole day ran smooth. I could just sit back and enjoy my day knowing that everthing was being taken care of. She was very professional and sweet and had the best advice. I would hire her again in a heartbeat for other functions.
Initially we went back and forth on whether or not we wanted to hire a DOC... We knew it was a smart idea since our wedding was going to be across the country, but we had personal and professional experience in party planning and our event was small and short.
We decided just to talk to a few and after striking out with most of them (It seemed like they wanted to take over our wedding), we talked to Jennifer and hit it off immediately. She went above and beyond ALL DOC duties and truly made our day special, organized and most importantly fun for us and our guests.
We both now see how a DOC is just essential and I can't recommend Jennifer enough.
Jennifer Pearl of The Rare Affair was a godsend for us. Her experience and knowledge of vendors was invaluable to facilitate our successful wedding. She would always return calls within 24 hours and went out of her way to make sure that everything was set just the way we wanted. She was very patient with us and gave us great confidence that everything would run smoothly on our wedding day.
On the wedding day, she and her assistant were at the venue the whole time making sure everything ran smoothly. Jennifer's extensive experience and good nature made it a much less stressful experience for us. She was well worth the cost.
Jennifer Peal you did the most amazing job for my only Daughters wedding on August 29th through September 1st 2008. The Rare Affair is a fantastic choice and great value in wedding planning. I must confess that I thought being a wedding planner was not near as difficult as I now know it is! And to think that my wife and I would have had to deal with all of the naturally occurring nuances inherent in a large wedding event ourselves if you were not there, what were we thinking! A nice way to say PITA stuff! Jennifer you are worth your weight in gold. Your knowledge, presence, professionalism and dedication to details made it possible for my wife and I to thoroughly enjoy our Daughters wedding and all the special guests that came from far and near in celebrating this most special occasion for my wife and I. From the Maggie Masters Invitational Golf Tournament, all the transportation needs, the Wedding itself and the After the Wedding Brunch you did the most incredible job. In so much as we have thoroughly enjoyed all of your professionalism we have decided to make you our one and only event planner. I cannot wait to work with you again because I know that the event will be so much fun and so incredibly memorable! We love you for what you did! Use me as a reference!!!!!
Jennifer Pearl and her staff at The Rare Affair are truly exceptional. As a day-of-coordinator, Jennifer reduced my stress levels in the few weeks before my wedding by visiting my venue with me, confirming all of my vendors and developing a wedding day time-line. On the day of my wedding, Jennifer was there to take care of last minute details and organize the general flow of the event. I was able to enjoy my day because I knew my event was in good hands. She even had a steamer on hand for wrinkles! My only regret is that I did not hire her for the whole evening! I cannot recommend Jennifer and her company highly enough. She was truly priceless.
Service and responsiveness was great. From the time I hired Jennifer she was very responsive and made sure everything for the rehearsal and wedding day was confirmed. She was very efficient and made sure everything ran smoothly on my wedding day.
