The Manor is an elegant wedding venue. The banquet managers were flexible and easy to get in touch with. The night of our wedding George was our maitre d and he was phenomenal. The bridal suites are located downstairs and Isabel is AMAZING. She made sure that my husband and I got food and drinks during cocktail hour as well as caring for any special needs we had. When the bustle of my dress broke, Isabel was right there with my sister to fix it! I highly recommend the manor, a great value! Food was outstanding across the board

I couldnt have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue! My Wedding theme was "vintage Hollywood Glam" and is place was exactly that & more!!! They have the most beautiful grounds (where our ceremony was held), the interior is amazing, wonderful staff, amazing food...and they were able to accomodate everything that I asked for. If you are looking for a wedding venue in NJ (about 30 mins from NYC) then this IS the place!!!

I was very impressed with the service and positive interactions that I had experienced with The Manor. Since I was getting married during their peak season, I thought that communicating with the facility would be difficult since they would be busy, however, they were able to respond quickly. Prices were reasonable while comparing their menu to other venues. My husband and I were taken care of the day of our wedding and everything ran extremely smoothly and as planned. The grounds were also beautiful for our pictures as we didn't need to go to another destination for pictures after our church ceremony. The cake we choice was part of our menu and was absolutely delicious! Everyone is still bragging about the venue to this day! I would definitely recommend this venue and would consider using it for future events!

We just had our wedding at the Manor. Everything was great from the venue to the food and service. We had our ceremony at the beautiful gardens outside and our cocktail hour and reception at the "imperial room". We were working with Roman who was very professional and helped us with wedding planning process as well as realizing all our wedding dreams. We had beautiful cake done by the Manor pastry chef based on sketch we gave them, the signature drinks and Champaign were great, the food and dessert tasted amazing. Everything was well organized. Our guests were very impressed by the gardens, fountains, our room, the delicious food and drinks and great service. Thank you!

The Manor was great to work with from day 1! They brought me in for a site visit while there were no events going on, so I was able to see all of the rooms and decide between them. The ceremony site was covered in snow, but they had plenty of albums to show us how it looked in the summer. Preston was always just a phone call away whenever I had even the smallest question. For our rehearsal and the actual wedding and reception, our maitre d', George, was extremely helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better reception!

In terms of food, The Manor was great to work with. They were very accommodating to my vegan husband, and he loved their food. They could not make vegan cakes, however, so we went with another vendor for our cake. Since the Manor includes cake in their costs, they gave us extra horderves options to make up for the cost!

My only complaint was that I had the morning wedding slot. Promptly at 5pm, the Manor staff swarmed the room and started breaking down and setting up for the next wedding, even though I still had guests saying good-bye! We were unceremoniously kicked out of the bridal suite since the next bride got there early, so all of my belongings were thrown into a mixed bag with my bridesmaids' stuff!

We had a great time at the wedding. The staff did a great job and food was excellent!

We were married on August 25th, 2012 and had our reception in the Virginian Room. My parents chose the Manor based on thier experiences there. We are from the area and they have an excellent reputation. Well, there is a reason why. They did an AMAZING job. We worked with Rolf and Patrick. They and thier entire staff are excellent-from the wait staff, the bartender etc. They could not do enough for us! The food at the cocktail hour and the reception were amazing. Countless people told me they had never had food like this at a wedding. All our guests were from NJ, NYC and the area so they have all been to many high end weddings. Just to give one example: The florist never brought the tea lights that were to surround the table arrangements. My Mom was so annoyed and asked them to call her. They did and she said she couldn't come back. Patrick and hsi staff tracked down tea lights for all my tables! It was truly above and beyond. There was another wedding going on. I never saw her once. I may have passed her guests but who cares! The room is gorgeous- it was nice weather so the french doors to the back patio were open. People loved the option of stepping outside. Don't hesistate if you are considering the Manor- it was fabulous!!!

My husband and I are so happy we chose The Manor. We like old charm and the The Manor definitely had that. Preston was very easy to talk to. They are all very accomodating! My guests cannot stop complimenting us about how good the food was and the abundance of it! In addition, The Manor will not break the bank! Very affordable! You cannot go wrong!

The Manor delivers world class service and did not fall short at our wedding. Everyone loved the food, and the place is paramount with its gardens and overall ambience. Jorge Duarte was our Maitre'D and delivered a personal touch to the event that I appreciated. We are happy with our overall experience and would recommend The Manor to anyone.

Everything was so beautiful and stunning, it really exceeding all of my expectations! We truly had a beautiful wedding reception at The Manor. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. The ceremony site is gorgeous and romantic. The customer service was impeccable and we felt like they made our day run smoothly. The bride and groom are often so busy during the reception that they do not get a chance to eat and spend quality time together. Not us, the staff made sure we had special private moments, and that we sat down and enjoyed our main course. Our guests raved about the quantity and quality of the food. We had no complaints at all!

The Manor went above and beyond in every possible both through the entire planning process and the day the day of our wedding. The Maitre’D George was very helpful and knowledgeable without being intrusive. All of the food was outstanding and our guests could not stop talking about how amazing all of it was, with people posting pictures of the food describing it as unbelievable. The place was gorgeous and immaculate, and everything went perfectly on time to the minute. They upgraded our cake and made it using fondant instead of buttercream as a surprise to us, and it looked better than any picture I provided (and tasted even better!!!! Many guests commented on how delicious it was, and I am a wedding cake criticizer lol, and though it was moist and delicious myself!). Throughout the entire process Preston was also so friendly, accommodating and patient. He threw in tons of stuff both before we signed, and even after. We really could not have had a better experience.

The Manor is absolutely beautiful. Our guests raved about the amazing food and attentiveness of the dining staff. We wouldn't change a thing about our wedding weekend. Despite the rain and not being able to have our cocktail hour outside, the Manor (Virginia Room) was the perfect venue.
