My husband and I fell in love with this place as soon as we saw it. We knew that it was the right place for us. We originally planned to have our wedding in May but due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had to change the date. Matthew was willing to help us out with no issue. He helped us create our menu within our budget.

On our wedding day, my girls and I got ready. There were some light snacks available to us while we got dressed. Becky showed up to make sure that everything was okay. Everything went very smoothly. It was so nice to have Becky there to help us stay on our timeline. She was fantastic to work with.

The food at EKI is AMAZING. It's such a shame that I didn't get a chance to eat all of my food.

I absolutely loved the Elkridge Furnace Inn for our wedding. We had the ceremony outside and the reception in the tent. All of the staff was extremely professional, flexible, and easy to work with. The Coordinator, Becky, is definitely on top of everything and has everything very organized. We used stations for the food, and everyone raved about how great it was. Overall, I am so happy that we chose this location and would definitely recommend it to others!

After many months of planning, a bride doesn't really know if her vision will come to light until she walks down the aisle, into the reception, ect. My expectations were beyond exceeded. Every detail was perfect. I put my full trust in the Elkridge and they hit it out of the park. I am still receiving emails from family and friends (3 months later) about how wonderful everything was, from the friendliness of the staff, the ambiance, and the overall warm feel of the Elkridge. I would recommend this venue for both a ceremony and a reception (especially the food!). I am hoping a friend has a wedding here so my husband and I can go back and enjoy this experience as a guest.

I don't think it's possible to say enough about how incredible Elkridge Furnace Inn was for a wedding venue. Our Fall wedding was an incredible event greatly surpassing all expectations. The ceremony site, house, and tent were absolutely gorgeous. Planning with Becky was a breeze! She caught all the details that I missed and paid very close attention to anything I said. Very responsive and attentive - couldn't have asked for better. With such a great event team I was really able to enjoy my own wedding and not keep a checklist in my mind of what needed to be done next or worry about if everything was in place.

EFI was at the top of our budget venue-wise but all of the conveniences paid off and then some! Cannot emphasize enough to planning brides how wonderful it is to have everything covered by one business - ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, catering, drinks, linens, cake! I can't imagine having to coordinate all of those vendors in addition to everything else that goes into a wedding and still enjoying it! The food is top notch and everything is so beautiful that you really save on decorations - we didn't get any additional lighting and used standard linens and it didn't look plain at all. We did all of the other decorating ourselves - flowers, favors, centerpieces, candles. Everything was dropped off to Becky the day before which was great to get it out of our hands. I described to her how I thought it should all look and it came out as if she had read my mind!

I have heard from SO many of our guests that it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and I really think that EFI was a huge part of that. Wish we could do it again!!!

My son and daughter in law were married at the Elkridge Furnace Inn and it was simply perfect. The food, the decor, the staff, every single aspect of this wedding was perfection. Becky, the Elkridge Furnace Inn Liaison was organized and so helpful in planning the entire event. The chef was very accomodating when they were selecting the menu. The value of having the entire property for your wedding cannot be underestimated. Other venues they visited had a lot of extra fees but this venue's value should not be underestimated. I felt like this wedding was their only priority (despite having other weddings that weekend) and having the entire property made it feel like we were in a home, not a rental property. SO MANY of their guests remarked that it was the best wedding they had EVER been too.... unsolicited! I could not recommend this venue more --- and wish every parent of the bride and groom as much happiness as our happy couple experienced.

This setting is truely unique. No other locations could provide the atmosphere of restored inn in a lovely quaint town. We were provided a three story building restored to period in which to spread out and prepare for the event. The outdoor ceremony area over looks the river and is a lovely setting. Their attention to detail and meeting the desires of the bride and groom made it possible for me (the mother of the bride) to relax and enjoy the party instead of worrying about how things were running. The food which was delicious was managed in three separate stations, avoiding any food lines. A wonderful wedding.

This is an amazing venue! We had both our ceremony and reception here, and it was so convenient to have everything all in one location. The scenery was beautiful for picture taking, and the food was exquisite. Our guests are still raving about the lamb! The chef and wedding planners were very flexible and willing to work with us around our budget and menu ideas. The staff and all involved helped to make our wedding day a wonderful and memorable experience.

I always knew I wanted to get married here, its absolutely beautiful, I had my ceremony outside, and my reception in the tent. The food was amazing, we did the food stations, and everyone is still saying how great it was. I have a food allergy and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. This was my first opportunity to be mother of the bride and my experience with Elkridge Furnace Inn was wonderful! From the first moment we arrived I knew this was the right place for the wedding, not just because of the home like feeling and the beautiful outdoor wedding venue, but mostly because of the staff. They had wonderful recommendations and we had checked out a number of other places and Elkridge offered the best elegance and quality. The food was OUTSTANDING and the attentiveness to the bridal party superior. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings and other special occassions.

As Father of the bride I will be honest, I told my daughter that i would give her money for a down payment on a house rather than spend the money on a wedding and reception, I was wrong and don't mind admitting it, it was the best money i have ever invested and was by far the best wedding and reception I have ever been to. From the first time we met with the staff everything was perfect.

The customer service we received from day one was incredible. They genuinely want to help to ensure you enjoy one of the most special days of your life. They are extremely flexible to accommodate your plans for your wedding and to assist you as much as they can. I had assigned seating and perishable favors. They stored the favors in their refrigerator for me, the assigned seating was done as I planned, and they set up my center pieces for me. My guests raved about how wonderful the food was and how beautiful the cake was. My guests said that I could not have chosen a more beautiful location for our reception and that my reception was the prettiest one they have ever attended. I highly recommend this venue. My new husband and I feel it is worth every penny that we paid for it.

I cannot say enough about our wedding this summer at Elkridge Furnace Inn. It really was beyond perfect in so many ways. From the very beginning I'll forget my first conversation with Pat and just how friendly and helpful she was. She was just awesome. Becky came next and after walking out of our first meeting we were just blown away at how organized she was and the million things she knew to ask that we hadn't even thought of. They were willing to meet with many of my family members as I planned my wedding from Denver - not an easy task! The day of our wedding was incredibily memorable. It began with a thunderstorm in the middle of the ceremony! ha! Becky handled it with such a calm (on the outside) way as she shuffled everyone inside. She was absolutely SOAKED but everyone was laughing. I can't imagine anyone handling it any better. We recieved a TON of compliments not only on the venue but on the AMAZING food. I come from a family of cooks and they're hard to please but everyone was just so impressed with how delicious everything was. Searching for the perfect wedding venue can be stressful and difficult but I could not be happier with our choice of EFI and would choose it again in a hearbeat. Thank you to them for EVERYTHING!

We got married last month at EFI. Our wedding was absolutely amazing! The venue can and will glady accommodate most requests. I would highly rec. having your wedding at EFI. The food was absolutely amazing and all of our guests complimented us on the food after the event. One of our guests actually wrote a letter to the Inn complimenting them on how fresh all of the food tasted. Both Pat and Becky are wonderful to work with and they take care of everything! I would sugguest that if you have your wedding at EFI you budget about 2000.00 for lighting from Perkins Lighting. Having them light the tent is well worth the money!

This is a beautiful venue with gorgeous grounds and wonderfully, elegant rooms. Having the house, the caterer and the tent all together made planning a breeze. The food, the tent, the supervision, and the professionality of the event planner was superb. Guests called after the event to tell us how impressed they were with the evening.

Beautiful place for our wedding and the staff was beyond helpful!
