I got my dream wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from the Crystal Bride. My mother and mother-in-law also got their dresses from the Crystal Bride. The sales people at the store are very knowledgable and very willing to help you find your dream dress that fits your budget. The store sells budget-friendly dresses and high end dresses, so they have something for just about everyone. They do all their fittings and adjustments with an in-house seamstress so you always know who you are working with and all adjustments were done promptly. The bridesmaid dresses were reasonably priced (and again, they have budget friendly to high end options). I was very impressed with the store and they made the dress finding/buying process fun and painless!

I feel like I have known quite a few of The Crystal Bride's employees for a very long time. I mostly worked with Heather. She was beyond helpful. She was very friendly and entertaining from the very beginning of my quest to find my perfect dress. They have independant seamstresses that do their alterations. I worked with Mila for my dress and Ellie for my daughter's, the flower girl. They both did a wonderful job. Everyone I worked with at The Crystal Bride was very friendly and accomidating. They have a fairly wide selection, and their fairly priced. Some of their dresses, I'm sure, could be The Crystal Bride because of all of their staff.

My wedding dress shopping was a wonderful experience!! I had a very nice girl named Heather help me pick out a dress. She was perfect, she knew exactly what I was looking for and wouldn't settle until we found my perfect dress. My dress was perfect! They have a great selection and they had dresses for every price range. It took exactly 6 months for my dress to come in and it was beautiful! However, don't let them talk you into going up a size because they will try to. I took my bridesmaids there with an appt for bridesmaids dresses. It was very crowded in the store and there were not enough staff to help. We did find a dress that was beautiful. They did talk every girl into going up a size and then each girl had to get large alterations on their dresses because they were too big. The bridesmaids dresses were above average pricing but my girls were ok with it. I wanted to add straps to the dresses and they were unable to give me a price for how much it would cost because they hire outside for alterations. So I ordered a bunch more fabric for the dresses come to find out scarves came with the dresses so we used the scarves for the straps and had a bunch of extra fabric. We were not informed that scarves were coming with the dresses. Overall, the selection is wonderful but the service is lacking. You get a different person everytime you go in there. It is a very busy and crowded store that doesn't have enough people on staff. However, my wedding gown shopping was great and memorable thanks to Heather!

I bought my dress from the Crystal Bride. It was perfect, and met my specifications for my ideal bridal dress which only really included: not a long train, looked fantastic with a bird cage veil, lace-up back, and the boning went from my armpits to mid-thigh so I didn't need to buy a corset bra. I was a tight little package for $800 and felt like a million bucks! The only alterations I needed were to have the dress hemmed and bustled. The only issues I had with Crystal Bride were that a) the customer service was not consistent. I would have a different person assist me almost every time I was in there, and some of them were much nicer than others. b) 3 out of my 5 bridesmaids complained to me that they were treated poorly by the person they were assisted by when they went in to find their dresses. c) I had went to 2 other dress shops before settling on the dress I wanted at Crystal Bride, and the best customer service was at David's Bridal in Aurora, IL. Unfortunately, none of their dresses met my specifications, so I had to go for my dream dress.

I wasn't impressed with the customer service they provided there overall. There were 2 ladies there that were nice to work with, but other than that, unimpressed. The alterations lady is super nice and easy to work with. I did get my alterations done there because Crystal Bride is right by my house. I recommend the venue for the style and choice of dresses and even their jewelry is great! When I went in a couple days before my wedding to pick up my dress, I had it already paid for and ready to go, and the girl showed me how to hang the dress as soon as I brought it home, but then asked me if it was paid off. I was upset about that because she should've seen that in my file. I let it go, but just another thing that bothered me about the customer service.

From the time I walked in to The Crystal Bride to the time I walked out with my wedding dress, the staff there made me feel like a princess. My consultant Sarah was awesome. She knew what I liked and was honest about the dresses I tried on. She was also very patient with me as I was making my decision. My dress, an Essence of Australia design, was beyond gorgeous and so perfect for me. The seamstress there, Mila, worked magic on my dress. It needed to be hemmed a lot and it was not an easy dress to do but she made it look flawless. The only reason they aren't getting a full 5 stars is because they are tough to make appointments with but that just shows how awesome they are!

My bridesmaid dresses were also from here. No complaints there! Everything was wonderful! My girls and I looked fabulous thanks to the lovely ladies that helped us! Thanks so much!! :):)

I had a great experience with The Crystal Bride, where I purchased my wedding gown and veil for my September 2011 wedding at the Westin in Lombard. I found my dress (Maggie Sottero – Jenna) at the Crystal Bride in November 2010, and I was very lucky because they told me they just received that dress in their shop two days before I was there. I saw it online and I knew I needed to try it on, and it turned out to be the one! The Crystal Bride was my first and only stop in my search for wedding gowns. Sarah was very friendly, nice and helpful through the whole experience of trying on and choosing a wedding gown, and she was able to pick out dresses for me to try on based on what I told her I was looking for. She helped me stay positive when I was unsure about some of the gowns and when I was starting to feel overwhelmed, and she shared in my excitement when I finally found my dress. I also liked that my friends/family and I were able to look around and pull dresses for me to try on. The prices at the Crystal Bride were very reasonable and fit my budget exactly. They had a nice selection of gowns, veils, and accessories, and everyone working there was extremely nice and made you feel at home. The seamstress, Mila, at The Crystal Bride, was wonderful. My dress needed to be taken in quite a bit and she did such a great job to transform it from A dress to MY dress. I loved also loved how she did the bustle on my dress, because when it was pinned up, you couldn’t even tell that there was a train on my dress to begin with. I got so many compliments on how beautiful my dress was and how perfectly it fit me on my wedding day. The Crystal Bride is definitely a great choice for anyone shopping for a wedding gown, accessories, or even bridal party attire.

I loved my dress. Heather was very helpful during trying on dresses and the fitting. The overall experience of getting my dress was great. It can be difficult to get an appointment there because they are very busy and I feel they need to expand their hours to compensate. The biggest problem I had was with my bridesmaids dresses. They convinced almost all my girls to go up a size and as a result their dresses were HUGE. I mean, they looked like garbage bags before they got them altered. The couple of girls who were insistent about knowing their size and going against the recommended size turned out fine. Just keep that in mind if you are getting bridesmaid dresses there.

The team at The Crystal Bride were fabulous to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process! They were especially helpful in planning my fittings around my schedule as I was living out of state during the dress selection/alterations process. I will forever be grateful to them for keeping me informed as the various pieces of my attire arrived at the shop and for helping me choose a gorgeous wedding gown!

Store has beautiful dresses that range in prices the most expensive being around 2k. My original service when purchasing the dress was great Sara was very easy to work with and wasn't pressuring. But the alterations and customer service department lacked. My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses from this store and at the end of alterations both girls were not given their belts for the dress and long behold the day of the wedding one of the girls wasn't even altered so we had to safety pin it. Which isn't really a big deal but when you add up each girl had to keep going back because they were forgetting stuff it's not something you should have to deal with.

Although our initial encounters were wonderful and the sales floor staff was helpful and pleasant. I was not pleased with the final outcome as my dress was ordered in what I was told was "standard sizing practices" instead of the floor sample size that fit perfectly. I was also not told that alterations to my type of dress due to the fabric and detail work would prove to be very difficult. Furthermore, I was told and it was written on my order form deion that my dress was ivory and champagne. Only after asking them to put a color sample and shoes of both ivory and champagne next to the actual dress was it realized, this was definitely not the colors. Thank goodness I had not yet purchased my veil or shoes and was able to take my dress elsewhere to do so and to get the necessary alterations. Again, the sales staff was great but, i would definitely suggest being overly informed BEFORE purchasing your dress.

Crystal Bride was my first stop out of four bridal shops and I ended up going back to purchase from them. Their reputation, service, value and flexibility were above and beyond any other place I went to. Nancy and Heather made everything go smoothly. I live out of state and they were always flexible with my schedule to fit in alterations, they were also very accommodating with my dress- which had some complex alterations. In the end everything was worth it- I must have received hundreds of compliments about my dress!

Had a absolute fantastic expericence at Crytstal Bride. My local bridesmaids got their dresses there as well as my out-of-state mom. The women there made me feel welcome and special every time I was there for fittings or shopping and made it very easy to keep within budgets.

I chose to start my wedding dress search at Crystal Bride because they seemed to have a lot of dresses that suited the style I was looking for. However, I'm a bit picky and was expecting to visit many other stores in addition to Crystal Bride. From the moment my party and I walked in, we were treated wonderfully. My consultant Chantal allowed me to scan all the dresses and select ones I wanted to try one, but also offering her opinion based on what we discussed. She knew which one she thought would be "the one" but she let me try on the others first so I could be entirely sure. Well, needless to say, she was right. My dress was the fifth and last one I tried on - and I never looked back! I bought the dress that day, and Chantal even took the extra step and measured the height based on heels so I wouldn't have to get my dress altered when it came in!

Throughout the next year, Crystal Bride was always willing to accommodate us! We got all 7 bridesmaids dresses from there as well, and each one came out gorgeous! I also ended up making some modifications to my dress along the way, and they were always helpful and flexible. The dress only became more beautiful as the year went on, and I felt like a true bride on my wedding day. Thanks to Chantal and everyone else at Crystal Bride for the best dress experience imaginable!!!

I am absolutely thrilled with my experience with the Crystal Bride! From my very first appointment to picking up my wedding dress the day before my wedding, the quality of service that I received was superb. They have an amazing selection of dresses that fit every budget and style. My consultant, Heather, was supportive through the entire process of not only selecting my gown, but customizing it as well. Their on-site alterations were convienent and were flawlessly done. I cannot say enough positive things about the Crystal Bride and I highly recommend them for any bride looking for a high quality experience.
