The Club Continental was a truly spectacular venue for our wedding. From the gorgeous views of the river for our outdoor ceremony to the beautiful interior for our reception, the club kept surpassing our expectations. Carla Sparks was a pleasure to work with and Jennifer was attentive during our wedding. The only issue we had was that we didn't get our bridal basket of food in our room that everning and we were starving hungry!! (although I'm sure you've heard it before but you really don't get to eat much during your wedding) The food was delicious and all the guests kept commenting on how good it was and went back for seconds. The buffet was very classy and set up perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

The Club Continental was a wonderful venue for our wedding. Very unique and classically beautiful, our guests were all so complimentary on the setting for our wedding. Carla is so easy to work with and responded to all of my emails and phone calls quickly in a friendly and professional manner. I have no reservations about recommending the venue to anyone!

The Club Continental was WONDERFUL! The grounds are drop-dead gorgeous, the food was delicious, and Carla Sparks, their events coordinator, was super patient with the millions of questions we had to ask. Our day could not have been as perfect if it were anywhere else.

This venue was absolutely beautiful. An outdoor wedding here is a must!! The food was great and the service was also attentive.

My wedding at Club continental was beautiful. The staff was extremly helpful and helped to make the wedding go smoothly. Carla was awesome to work with. I had a very small wedding and this venue allowed us to have a very elegant and intimate wedding. With a ceremony on site and a intimate dinner after. Highly recommended. There elopement packages are great for just a bride and groom or a small wedding party.

Club Continental did an outstanding job with our daughter’s wedding. From the start each person we met was friendly and helpful. I can say without hesitation Club Continental is a complete package and fully delivers.
Carla, the special events coordinator, guided us through the wedding planning with patience and great suggestions and she answered my emails and phone calls promptly. She is the liaison with the chef, the floor manager, and the staff and everything turned out as planned. On my way out from one planning meeting with Carla, I saw one of the rooms we reserved for the bridal party. Harry, one of the persons in charge of the rooms, was there and immediately offered to open the rooms and show them to me. This small gesture was just one more example of how accommodating this team is. On the day of the wedding, Jacob, our floor manager made sure everything was carried out to a tee. He was there seeing that the bride and bridesmaids had everything they needed before the ceremony and since the ceremony took place during a light rain, when we came back into the club he had towels for us. In addition, all the servers were courteous and warm to the guest. The food was delicious and the venue is stunning. We are left with many fond memories from a well executed wedding and reception by Club Continental.

Carla was an absolute pleasure working with! She was very responsive and dealt with any issues, questions, or concerns that I had in a timely manner. Even with my "bridezilla" moments she was able to get me through them. I get the venue an overall 4/5 because the food the chef prepared was very dry, tough, and cold. I wasn't one to complain on my wedding day, so I kept shut, but every guest complained of the food not being up to par-- which it wasn't. However, the venue itself and the staff are very polite and will go head over heels to assist you! Overall, I had a beautiful night to remember.

My daughter and son-in law loved this venue on site. Carla was amazing to work with and made sure that everything was taken care of for the wedding. The staff who worked the wedding were awesome and made sure that every need was taken care of professionally and efficiently. Everything from the ceremony site to the reception to the guest rooms and bridal party rooms was excellent! Could not have found anywhere more beautiful or perfect! If you love the old Florida southern hospitality and feel you will love this venue! Perfect for pictures as well. The grounds are beautiful and the club is decorated with antiques and charming staircases for that princess/belle wedding! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They know how to do weddings that you and your guests will not forget! I also wanted to mention that their food is also very good! All of the guests were raving how good it was and how beautifully they laid out the buffet and stations.

Breathtaking! Gorgeous! This venue is perfect! Carla was fabulous to work with and helped make all of my ideas a reality. This is such a wonderful venue to work with. You can do so many different things here and it is beautiful. There is also a pub on site, which is great to send all of your friends to after the reception. I would highly recomment this venue to anyone.

My daughter and I looked at numerous venues in Jacksonville and St Augustine but in the end we liked Club Continental the most. The venue itself was great and being able to contact Carla with questions and information meant a lot. As it turned out the venue was perfect. We had both the wedding and reception there and the food was the best I've had at any wedding. The staff was very helpful and attentive during the ceremony and reception and I couldn't have asked for more.

The Club Continental was a wonderful venue. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful event staff. The staff made sure that our wedding was wonderful and the even coordinator is very easy to work with. Overall, great experience and loved the venue since it offered everything that we were looking for in a romantic-vintage wedding!

Club Continental was pricey, but we were very glad we paid the extra money to have our wedding ceremony and reception at this stunning location. The mansion and the grounds were so beautiful that we did not have to set up tons of extra decorations (although you definitely could: the staff were very accomodating and helpful). Our guests loved the location and many of them booked rooms right on the property. The Club Continental staff were professional and helpful - from our event coordinator Carla to the waitstaff and bartenders. If you can afford the price, I would highly recommend the Club Continental for a wedding and reception.

Loved the Club Continental, Stayed at the continental suite the night before, The place is beautiful and great for pictures! The food was amazing! One of the co workers ( a red headed short female) that finished cutting the cake was a bit rude, but other than that, It was an Unforgettable experience! Thank you!

We loved the venue and Courtney was AMAZING!! She helped in so many ways and made sure everything went as smooth as possible. Everyone loved the food and I really liked the layout. We chose the venue for the view and courtyard. The staff was helpful and accomodating. The bridal suite was large and accomodating for all my girls to get ready in but the bed was awful to sleep in. There were two weddings on my wedding day... in my opinion they should only have one wedding a day. This left us with less than two hours to set up which was just not enough time. The guests from the wedding before mine were still there as my vendors showed up and this delayed my set-up. Since rain dumped on my venue for a straight two hours the set up I initially planned was not executed but we are working with the club to adjust our total costs. They staff was courteous and helpful. I loved my choice of venue. Carla was easy to reach and prompt with her responses with questions.

The place is beautiful and you will not get better tasting food anywhere. It rained very hard that day and we had an issue with the roof leaking but the staff worked together to move things around and the wedding started on time. I wish the roof hadn't leaked but I still love this place and think it is the perfect place to get married. The food is AMAZING, the views are romantic. They have condos next to the club which is very convenient . All our out of town guests stayed there and were impressed with the club and happy they didn't have to drive anywhere. The housekeeping staff is friendly, their Continental breakfast was great. You cannot go wrong with this venue. Carla was so helpful and patient answering all of my questions. I know I called her 100 times! This is the PERFECT place to get married.
