They did a fabulous job. We enjoyed meeting with them to do the cake tasting.
I drew the design for the cake and took it to them,and it turned out exactly as I had hoped! The were on time, and we recieved many compliments about how the cakes looked and tasted!
The only issue we had was that a couple of weeks before we had asked them to switch a fake layer with a real layer, and they made the cake based on their original plans. We still had enough cake however, and they refunded the difference after the wedding.
I have seen three weddings which they have done, and I would recommend them any day.

The Cakes were excellent. They were definitely the talk of the reception. I would highly recommend The Cake Guys because their cakes are one of a kind and very COST FRIENDLY. I strongly believe they are the best in the Metroplex.

The Cake Guys were wonderful vendors. Chad was very responsive as far as communicating all the details of the price and design. Not to mention how many compliments I got on how tasty both of my cakes were! They are by FAR the best cake designers in DFW due to their outstanding service, delicious cakes, and beautiful designs.

The most amazing cake I've ever tasted!!! We had tastings and got quotes from several bakeries, but there was just a little something missing from them. Then I heard about the Cake Guys which are an hour drive from my house, but something told me it would be worth the drive. And it sure was! I booked them on the spot! They had us try about 8 or 9 different cakes that of course we couldn't finish so they packed it up and sent it home with us. And I was so shocked when they told me the price! They could charge so much more. They not only taste the best, but look amazing too! These guys are artists and can do anything you want! My cake was the spitting image of the picture in my head times 10! The communication can be a little difficult since they only communicate via email and are so busy so it can take a little time for them to get back, but I emailed them and told them I really wanted to walk to them on the phone and they called right away. There is no need to shop of any other bakery...The Cake Guys are the best!

I have never tasted 2 cakes there were as great as our wedding cakes! This is what everyone is telling us as well. Not only were they gorgeous to look at and exactly what I asked for, but the best flavors and wish I could have another one!! My friends are already asking where I got my cake because they will for sure order from them!

I went to several cake places and ended up choosing The Cake Guys. They are priced very well and they have great tasting flavors. Our discussion of what I wanted my cake to look like is exactly how it turned out and I was pleased with the outcome. However, there was a small boo boo with the groom's cake. I asked for Baylor University's emblem on the top layer and instead there was the letters BU...Not that it looked bad or that any of our guests knew, but I was a little disappointed with the mistake. Other than that misunderstanding, I thought The Cake Guys did a great job.

I LOVE THE CAKE GUYS! Let me start by saying that when I got engaged, one of the first questions my family asked was "Are you going to get the cake guys?" They made the cakes for my older sister's wedding 2 years before mine and we had been dreaming of their delicious cakes ever since! The guys are great and make some of the most delicious cakes you will EVER taste! Their prices are reasonable, too, which was important for us. I loved the fact that they were so accommodating, initially I thought they wouldn't be able to make my cakes, but I contacted them and they agreed to work out a schedule for us. I would (and do) recommend them to everyone I know!

Everyone absolutely raved about our cakes! They were amazing. I knew I wanted a large cake but not necessarily anything over the top decorating wise. We went to two other cake places in Dallas that are very well known for their cakes. While these places did decorate beautiful cakes they were dry and were just not great, especially for the price they wanted. The Cake Guys made our cakes moist and delicious, which to me was far more important than how fancy they were. Plus the cost was about half of what the other places wanted.

Our wedding cakes were DELICIOUS! A coworker had recommended The Cake Guys and we could not be happier with the way our cakes turned out! We met with several cake vendors, and their cakes were definitely the most delicious and WAY more affordable than other cakes (we got both the bride's and groom's cakes for less than other vendors were charging for just the bride's cake). The amaretto cream and raspberry fillings on the bride's cake, and the chocolate ganache groom's cake, were delicious! The cakes were very moist, in addition to being beautifully decorated, at no extra charge. Our wedding cake was decorated with a corneli lace icing design - a very detailed design that other vendors charged significantly more for - and the groom's cake was a detailed Texas A&M seal - both looked PERFECT. The only negative about the Cake Guys is that occasionally they can be a little hard to get in touch with - they are only reachable by email, and generally they do reply within 24 or 48 hours. We only had one time when we had a question that went unanswered for longer due to us not knowing they were gone on vacation. Not a big deal, especially given their talent for creating beautiful and delicious cakes!

I got married about 1 1/2 years go and The Cake Guys did my cake. At the time they were doing everything out of their house. The only thing I was picky on for my wedding was the taste of the cake. I feel like the wedding cake has a specific taste. The Cake Guys have that special taste! I went to 10 different cake bakeries in Fort Worth and NOTHING compared to these guys. It makes me want some cake just thinking out it!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

The Cake Guys pre-box the top layer of your wedding cake and include a "fake" topper at the reception. My husband and I recently got to eat the top layer of our cake on our 1st anniversary. It had been frozen according to the Cake Guys' instruction card and...IT WAS PERFECT!! It smelled and tasted JUST LIKE it did on our wedding day! I still love to look at the pictures of our cakes and make recommendations to others. My only complaint is that the pre-boxed topper was not decorated like our actual topper. However, the Cake Guys are very talented. I want to marry my husband again just to have another Cake Guys Cake. You won't go wrong with these guys!

Overall, I loved my wedding cake from The Cake Guys. It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had talked about. I wish there had been more filling in my cake as it is the fillings that really make their cakes stand out above the rest. But it was moist and delicious and visually stunning. Also they can be a little slow to respond, especially at the end, but their reputation speaks for itself and I had no worries my cake would be fabulous and it was.

While searching for my wedding cake, I came across The Cake Guys web site. I really liked the look of all the cakes (bride and groom). So I guess the next thing was to go taste the cake. That process was easy aslo, I just left a message by e-mail that I wanted to come in for a consultion, maybe two days later, I was sent a e-mail conforming my time and date, of the consultion.Needless to say the cake was wonderful, My husband loved it so much, that they sent him home with a plate,also on the final tasting we took a plate home( what can I say the cake is that good).Both the cakes came out great. They were delievered on time and set up in the right place just like I told them I wanted it.I would recommend The Cake Guys to anyone. So brides if your really want a nice cake for a nice price, The Cakes Guys are the way to go.

The Cake Guys have a delicious product! They were also the cheapest estimate we received. They were very professional and had everything laid out for us when we went for the tasting, and did everything in their power to ensure that we had a beautiful product at the best value. They went above and beyond to let us know exactly what we were getting and the cakes looked great!
