After a frustrating search for delicious cake and affordable simplicity, I attended a friend's wedding where I tasted a cupcake that *seriously* changed my life. Once I found out which bakery she used, I tested several other cupcakes from their cases before booking a consultation. The staff was friendly every time I visited and were able to create exactly what my now-husband & I were looking for. We were given 3 delicious samples for our free tasting (which we were allowed to bring home & conduct at our leisure) and got hooked on a flavor that surprised us both - white chocolate chip. On our wedding day, the cake arrived and was beautiful. It was exactly what we needed at a fabulous price and it tasted just as delicious as it did during our tasting. I will DEFINITELY give Texas Star my business anytime I need cakes & more!!

When you think weddings the cake plays a BIG part. Texas Star was AMAZING!! They listened to our ideas and made the cake exactly as we wished. They were spot on with our vision! The cake it self is simply fantastic. Icing isn't too sweet, and the cake is moist and melts in your mouth! We had very little of a 4 tear cake left over! The price couldn't be beat! This bakery is a true diamond in the rough! We will def be using them again! A must try!

Let me start by saying that my husband and I were not going to have cake at our wedding because neither of us like cake and we couldn't stomach the price tag for something that we weren't going to enjoy ourselves. But with much persuasion from mothers and grandmothers (one of which refused to attend without the promise of cake) we decided to begin the hunt for something affordable.

Texas Star Bakery was absolutely perfect! They were, first and foremost, beyond affordable. When I went to the tasting, the staff was so kind and quick and they provided me with huge samples (seriously cupcake sized!). I booked them immediately, and went with three of their most popular flavors: almond, double chocolate and carrot cake. Everyone at the wedding said it was some of the best wedding cake they ever had (the carrot cake especially) and the almond made his grandmother cry. And best of all, both cakes look exactly as we asked: the grooms cake was the Texas A&M Aggie Seal which is a true work of art!

I got my bride's cake from Texas Star. They were very flexible on when I could come in for a tasting. I booked them right then, and the price was great compared to other places I priced. The cake turned out exactly how I wanted and tasted awesome (I had the almond flavor-yum!). I had tons of compliments!

Our wedding and groom cake were YUMMY!! Cake was very moist and they designed it exactly like we wanted. Very satisified and will use them in the future! Good value for the money as well!

We used Texas Star Bakery for my bridal shower cake. My mom and I walked in on a Saturday without an appoitment not knowing what to expect. My mom had our cake taken care of quickly, and the staff were very nice. The price was great, too! We had been to a couple grocery stores looking for a simple cake and they were expensive. We tried Texas Star Bakery and were shocked that it would cost less! The cake was so fresh and beautiful, my shower guests loved it. We ordered a bigger cake than what we needed to have extra, but my guests liked it so much everyone went back for seconds and we hardly had any left! I reccomend the red velvet it was amazing.

I had a late request for a cake topper for the groom's cake. They were able to make it for me. It was a Rolex watch in the box - and it looked GREAT! I was so pleased and so was my groom! They do great cake/cake topper work! Highly recommend!

Texas Star was wonderful! Our cake was exactly as we imagined and we couldn't wait a whole year to eat the top layer! We plan to have TX Star make us a duplicate on our anniversary! Love this bakery!

So delicious!!! We ate the rest of our cake after getting back from the honeymoon (a week after the wedding) and it was still amazingly good! We recommend the red velvet!!!

The cake was absolutely gorgeously decorated. The taste of the cake was amazing. Everyone that was in attendance went on and on about how good the cake was.

This bakery is very economical and professional I would recommend this bakery to everyone.

Michelle was great, I gave her an idea for the groom's cake (batman) and she understood what I wanted! I didn't do a tasting before the wedding because I'm out of town so I based my opinion solely on the internet! The cakes were so beautiful and very delicious. Also, I didn't rent a cake stand and was pleasantly surprised that the cakes were on a satin covered plate. So if you don't care to rent a cake stand, don't worry! It still looked beautiful.

Texas star bakery did such an awesome job on our grooms cake! My husband wanted a turntable cake, and it looked great! It tasted sooo good too! We will continue to use them for birthday cakes and other special occassions!

Texas Star Bakery did a wonderful job on our wedding and groom's cake. The cakes looked and tasted great! They had the best prices in town. They were very flexible with making any changes to the cake design or cake flavors. Both cakes were delivered on time, and their was no need for me to rent a cake stand since they bring the cakes on pretty satin covered stands.

The cakes (bride and groom) were absolutley beautiful and they tasted wonderful. So moist and just great! We did not have much cake left and what was left everyone came over to my mom's the next and got it all. The price was unbeatable...I have been using them for everything now..Birthdays and office parties
