Our wedding reception was held at The Boathouse in LBI. Taste Catering was excellent - their food was delicious and their staff were very friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better caterer!

The Stateroom and Taste Catering did an excellent job with our wedding! I had an idea of having a boardwalk themed wedding and Nicole helped me amend my entire menu to fit my theme, complete with zeppoles, french fries, cheese steaks and Italian hot dogs! Nicole maintained excellent communication even through all of the changes brought by the hurricane. I can't say enough about how excellent Nicole was with planning my day! A special thank you to Marcy and Paula who provided excellent service to us on our wedding day. Our families are still raving about the food and service provided for our wedding! I would most definitely recommend anyone without hesitation to have their ceremony and reception with Nicole and the crew of the Stateroom. Thank you again!

Outstanding Food, Service and Acommodations.

The food at our wedding was amazing. Our guests kept commenting on how good everything was. Taste also worked with allergies and food preferences, which was great. My only complaint is that we were told that while we were in the bridal suite getting ready before the reception that the appetizers would be brought in to us and we could try them and while some were, not all of the selections were brought by. Out of about 15 or so appetizers we maybe got to try 5, which was kind of disappointing and the same five were boxed up for us. I know there were certain ones that we were really looking forward to having, but that's just a small detail. The food was excellent and you will not be disappointed in its quality.

Taste was wonderful. They provided a dream wedding for me with a beautiful bay front venue and delicious food, from the raw bar to the ice cream cones :)

Service/Professionalism: Planning a wedding from out of state is not an easy task but Nicole (and Sue in Sales) made everything happen with ease. I feel like I switched a bunch of menu options (i.e. "so what if I swap shrimp for lobster, what's that cost?", "I changed my mind and want chicken instead of fish") and the ladies never blinked an eye. Nicole helped me through the entire process, noting every detail along the way. The day of the wedding, Paula was our personal server and was awesome, she was wonderful to deal with and managed to always be on top of things without ever intruding on what we were doing.

Food/Value: We did a decent search prior to picking a place and Taste was by far the most accommodating and offered multiple menus with an array of customization options. We were a little nervous to sign a contract with a venue/caterer without tasting the food but after reading reviews we went for and hoped for the best. After the tasting, we changed some things to better match what we were looking for and my husband and I ended up with EXACTLY what we wanted on our day. Although I was too busy to really get to sample most of cocktail hour, my husband did, as did my guests and everyone is still raving about it. I love that my friends recently told me they were so excited to see a new tray of food come by b/c they didn't know what would be coming next, between the passed apps and the stations they were impressed...and they hadn't even gotten to dinner! Your guests could easily fill up on cocktail hour food, but make sure they don't b/c dinner is worth waiting for! I've been to over 12 weddings in the past 2 years and (maybe I'm biased) our food was top-notch. Even friends of mine who had lobster and filet at their wedding in NJ commented that ours was 'so much better'. I would recommend Taste 100 times over!
You get so much for your money!

I would like to take the time and truly thank the members of Taste Catering for doing such an amazing job. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding, the staff was always there to help you, assisted with making sure the overall night went smoothly! The food was outstanding!!! From the minute guest started to arrive there was appetizers on the table, pass around food and just such a pleasure to have there. I would recommend Taste catering and The Boat House restaurant to anyone thinking about having their wedding in LBI and wanted a nice casual or elegant wedding. I want to thank everyone who took part in my wedding and making everything come together, it was definitely my thought of my Cinderella wedding! Thank you again

Everything for our wedding was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the waitstaff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room at the Boathouse was beautiful! Planning was really easy and fun to do with Nicole. She made me feel important even when I knew things were really busy.
