The flowers were beautiful and Sherry was very helpful and flexible. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't as much purple in the bridesmaid bouquets as I had wanted, but they still turned out great and looked beautiful with all the girls' dresses.

I bought my bouquet, the men's flowers and the mother's flowers from Tara. I initially wanted to grow my flowers - but my mother-in-law was concerned that MY flowers wouldn't be right. I wasn't too concerned about flowers, but went to Tara anyway. I am glad I did. The flowers were beautiful, and I wasn't the easiest customer. I told them "think fall...and not the usual." They told me not to worry, and I didn't. When I saw the flowers I was completely satisfied. I will be looking to Tara for any floral needs I may have in the future.

This one is very tricky for me to review. Let me start with the fact that my wedding flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS. So the end result was exactly as I had dreamed it would be. Getting there, however, was a bit of a challenge.
I had ONE requirement for my flowers = deep red lilies. (Yes, they exist in nature.) I went florist to florist to find out who could do them, and I picked Tara because they said for the end of August that would not be a problem at all. Months later, my florist goes on medical leave for a knee replacement, but all should be okay because she's coming back to work 2 weeks before my wedding. 1 week before my wedding I'm called and told they cannot get my red lilies due to issues with mother nature, and the drama begins. After several conversations, I say fine, switch to white lilies on the bridesmaids, paint white ones red for me, and while I'm not thrilled, life will go on. 3 days before my wedding, I get a call saying they cannot get white lilies either, and at this point, I'm furious. I call around, I locate white lilies at the grocery store, I call the florist and I tell them to try harder. I don't know if someone who was filling in for my florist dropped the ball on ordering the flowers on time, or what, but I refused to be the one that paid the price for their mistake. In the end, my florist ordered white lilies, pink lilies, and purple lilies and sprayed them all red to test for the best result. She had me come in to pick my favorite version, approve all of the other flowers, approve my final bouquet, and see how it turned out. The purple lilies sprayed red ended up beautiful and you couldn't even tell they were painted. I was never charged for my entire bill, nor was I charged for all of the "test" lilies, so I think they acknowledged that they dropped the ball and needed to make up for it. I am impressed that they dealt with the situation in the end and got me what I originally wanted. I just am not real impressed with the fact that I had to deal with it all 3 days before my wedding. If you want a fantastic artist / florist though, Vicki there did a great job on the final arrangements.

Image this: you're in Mexico on vacation and find the perfect flower arrangement for your reception. You take a digital picture of it because you're no flower petal guru. You get the image home and take it to two different florists to have it replicated for your wedding. No dice. The flower shops weren't interested in the picture; they couldn't identify the flower so they wanted to change it into something they could do or already had done. As a last resort, I went to Tara. I'm so glad I did! Not only did Tara Florist take the time to look at the picture, but they were able to make suggestions as to the type of flower to use. To top that, they even made two trial arrangements for me to take home and show other members involved in the wedding. They were so reasonably priced, too! My arrangements were the most beautful flowers. Image 50 red carnations in the shape of big ball. The ball then rested on the top of 24 inch glass vases and had ribbons hanging inside the glass. BEAUTIFUL!! Tara Florist exceeded my expecations with their dedication to helping me create my perfect centerpieces. They have now become my "go to" shop for all my floral needs!

I thought that the flowers were a bit over priced for what they were. We went pretty simple flowers, white roses and blue hydrangeas. We had my bouquet of 18 white roses and one bridesmaid bouquet of 1 blue hydrangea that were supposed to be hand tied. The ribbon that they used only covered two inches of the flowers stems. So, the bottoms of the stems were exposed which caused the flowers to wilt more quickly then if they were covered. The original person that I was working with stopped working on my wedding about a week and half before the wedding, so I then had to go in and explain exactly what I wanted again to someone new. There was then a discrepancy with the cost and we ended up paying more than what I was first quoted. We did not have a huge order (we did not do flowers as centerpieces and only had one flower arrangement at the reception on the escort card table) so I felt that this flowerist didn't really care about my wedding flowers because we were not spending a lot of money there. I would not recommend them.
