  Highly recommend! Stop searching

  OH MY GOODNESS! Stop searching for a florist for your event because you have found the nicest and most awesome florist there is, her name is Wendi and she is the owner of the shop!
  I was recommended to hire her for our wedding that was supposed to happen in the fall of 2020 but we all know how that played out. When it came to changes she was more than willing and accommodating.
  
  I follow her instagram account @sweetnessandlightflowers , I highly recommend taking a look at her beautiful creations!
  
  When it came to discussing designs and a floral plans she listened to me and my ideas. However after following her instagram account I wanted to give her most of the design freedom but still maintaining the overall image we had for our special day. The day of let me tell you! SHE WENT ABOVE & BEYOND MY FLORAL DREAMS COULD EVER IMAGINE! I was the bride so unfortunately I did not have my phone on me to take a picture of her creations but once I get one I will happily update :)
  
  I wish I lived closer to the Benicia area just to stop by her lovely shop! I could gush all day about how amazing Wendi is & her wonderful designs! Her entire team was so helpful in every way!

  Amazing Flowers

  Wendi was absolutely fabulous. She created arrangements in my budget and captured my colors and theme brilliantly. The morning of my wedding was definitely emotional- but when Wendi delivered these flowers I teared up. I have received so many compliments on the flowers!

  My husband and I worked with Wendi for our mellow, DIY wedding in Walnut Creek. After we expressed our interest in the smallest package on her site and explained our floral decor needs, Wendi graciously trimmed down the cost of our package and floral purchases to match precisely what we were looking for. She was a delight to collaborate with as well. We met for coffee to share more about our wedding and our personalities -- Wendi used this information and interaction to craft beautiful floral arrangements that matched who WE were as a couple, in addition to the aesthetic of the event itself. I was so impressed! My and my bridal parties' bouquets also received so many compliments -- and they smelled amazing...
  
  In short, Wendi is wonderful to work with and her craftsmanship with flora is phenomenal -- if you are looking for a florist who will collaborate with you to create your vision, look no further than Sweetness & Light!

  Wendi has excellent intuition. We came to her with just a few words, ethereal, vintage, etc. She was able to very quickly catch on to our vision. On our wedding day it was more than we could ask for. Wendi met with us in person to go over final details and was charming and friendly. Her floral arrangements are gorgeous and well worth her competitive pricing. Looking around the venue on our wedding day was so magical and it was in huge part to Wendi. She was meticulous with her arrangements and her ingenuity shows. But my favorite part about working with Wendi was her persona and how she runs her business. Wendi is easy to communicate with and down to earth. We can't thank her enough for making our vision come true.

  Best decision made for our dream day!

  Where do I even begin, AMAZING!! Wendi and her team from the very beginning were absolutely so wonderful to work with. From my initial meeting with Wendi I felt very comfortable knowing that she understood me and the vision I had for our big day. The presentation she gave for her proposal was amazing! I loved that with the proposal she included pictures of the general look that she would be putting together, for me being a visual person that was beyond helpful. The final 30 days before the wedding she was so helpful and even went above and beyond what I had expected. Her team dropped off flowers at multiple locations and even came back at the end of the reception to clean up/pick up any of their pieces left behind. She even went above and beyond by adding flower arrangements to our chairs we sat in during the reception and put floral arrangements in the bathrooms! She was one of the best decisions I made to help our dream come to life! Thank you Wendi!!

  I cannot say enough great stuff about Wendi and her services. She is beyond talented, kind, patient (we had lots of changes). Not only did she create unforgettable displays, bouquets, and boutineers on a limited budget and time, but she went out of her way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted with sample photos, Pinterest boards and more! Wendi even designed and delivered one of the most beautiful flower head pieces I have ever seen for the rehearsal dinner. She has the best eye and an incredible aesthetic, using sustainable practices and creating arrangements that look straight from the Anthropologie catalog. Most importantly though, she is the type of person you’d wished to be friends with outside your wedding. Affordable and just the best, I would recommend Sweetness and Light ten times over to anyone planning a wedding.

  Wendi and the team and Sweetness & Light went above and beyond for our floral arrangements in our October wedding. We couldn't have been more happy with the experience with them from start to finish. I knew right away when looking at photos from different florists in the area that Sweetness & Light would be the best fit for our wedding. You can tell that they really put care and attention into all their arrangements, they are very beautiful, unique, and well-crafted. They were responsive, very nice and easy to work with. You can tell Wendi is an expert with flowers, and I felt confident after our initial meeting that the final flowers would be amazing, which is big for me since I'm usually a worrier! Wendi was able to capture our vision perfectly and the floral arrangements at our wedding were beautiful. I highly recommend Sweetness & Light to anyone looking for a florist!

  Beautiful flowers, part of my sweet wedding! Wendi is very nice and helpful! Wendi also provided me the silver mercury votives, making the reception table look shining. In all, beautiful and sweet, just as exactly what I want! ;)

After parting ways from another florist due to lack of responsiveness and professionalism, my wedding planner recommended Wendi from Sweetness & Light. Upon our first conversation, Wendi was very understanding and respectful of both the situation and budget. She was exceptionally responsive and professional throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, she totally delivered. Everything from bouquets and boutonnieres to the placement of each lavender sprig on our guests' napkins, was absolutely perfect. Her attention to detail is unparalleled. I'd highly recommend Sweetness & Light for anyone planning his or her upcoming wedding. Thank you so much Wendi!

  Wendi and team at Sweetness and Light totally delivered! We gave some admittedly difficult, conflicting requests between the two of us; one wanted rustic and one wanted clean and modern. Wendi created the perfect compromise between the two that our guests are still gushing about two months later. She is a total pro and the price is right—would recommend her time and time again! Thank you Sweetness and Light!!

We met with Wendi and we described our theme and what our favorite flowers were (and helped identify which flowers we liked based on our very vague descriptions).
  
  She took all that information and then created beauty, put simply. She provided floral arrangements for all three of our events: the rehearsal dinner at a restaurant, our after wedding brunch at our house, and of course our wedding. All were unique & beautiful and all really exemplified the theme and colors of our wedding.
  
  Lastly Wendi went above and beyond and helped source the sapling that we used for our tree planting ceremony for the wedding. That little sapling is currently very happy in our yard and we are looking forward to enjoying it for many years as a reminder of our beautiful day.

  Wendi is an absolute treasure! She designed the flowers for our wedding at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley. Throughout the entire process, she was friendly, responsive, and thorough.   On the day of the wedding, I was absolutely stunned! My bouquet was perfect. The flowers at the venue and ceremony were so beautiful and transformed the space. It was magical. Our friends and families kept commenting how gorgeous our flowers were. They said the arrangements were the most beautiful that they've seen.   Wendi is an absolute treasure! She designed the flowers for our wedding at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley. Throughout the entire process, she was friendly, responsive, and thorough.   Wendi is a true artist. I still can't get over my flowers especially the bouquets for me and my bridesmaids! They were simply so amazing and beautiful.. Not only was Wendi a pro at flowers but when it came to last minute wedding crisis, she was the boss. What more can you ask for from a flower vendor? Her designs are spectacular for any type of wedding style. You propose your vision and she will make it happen. Her pricing is also very reasonable for those budget conscious brides out there.

  What can I say? Wendi is amazing. She executed my vision perfectly and well within my budget. It looked like we spent an absolute fortune on florals and decor without breaking our bank.
  
  From the very beginning I was adamant about a clean, modern design accented with candle lighting and monochromatic colors. I was worried that this would bore any floral designer and result in less than inspired pieces, but Wendi just let the design take over.
  
  The different sized tables lent themselves to varied centerpieces, my bouquet was exquisite, the escort card table a dream, and she even managed to get my favorite lighting elements into the venue when we thought it couldn't be done. I craved something different, chic, and modern and she exceeded my expectations over and over again.
  
  On top of her talent she is an absolute gem to work with. She was so friendly and understanding, and was always willing to throw in an idea or two during the brainstorming sessions. I can't wait to have another event just so that I can work with her again.

  Wendi Goad is the owner and a remarkable person to have on your team. I am not sure how to write a wedding review that really shows how much we enjoyed having Wendi as our florist.
  First, Wendi is sweet and full of light. Which is why the name of her company fits her so well
  “Sweetness & Light”. So you might think that is a little cheesey, but you will see when you meet
  her. Her sweetness comes out from the second you meet her and the light comes out in her
  floral design. She took on the difficult task of making an already beautiful venue even more
  beautiful. When we met with Wendi at Nestldown in Los Gatos, Ca she immediately let us know
  that a simple elegance were the accents we needed to a classic wedding at Nestldown. We
  chose white flowers for the simple design and Wendi suggested a hint of blush to add some
  elegance. Our table displays were perfect. It looked amazing!!!
  
  Wendi could have been done there, but after a long walk to the ceremony site down some
  big steps guided by large redwood trees, she showed more talent. When we got to the alter
  she suggested some hanging candle holders with white flowers to fall behind us as we got
  married. A great idea to accent the immense amount of greenery - it needed something and she immediately captured it with her eye for floral design. Perfect!
  
  When we got the barn at Nestldown, she brought even more excellence. Simple excellence.
  The barn was a rustic feel that needed some warmth and romance to capture our first dance
  (as well as father daughter and mother son). Wendi added some tea light candles to accent the
  windows around the entire barn. It really brought everything together.
  We could not be happier with Wendi. We hope you get a chance to book Wendi as you will be
  glad you did! We whole heartly recommend her and look forward to using her for future events.
