    The food was excellent. The staff was professional and helpful. Laura was so helpful and patient. It was a good value. I highly recommend Summit on the Park as a beautiful wedding venue

    I was totally thrilled by everthing. The food was excellent. The waitstaff were professional and couteous, they almost anticipated everyones needs. The hall was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

    Our wedding was more then we could of ever imagined. The hall was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend The Summit on the Park to anyone getting married! With everything being in one location we had more time to make memories with our family and friends. We thank you for making our day special!

    Our wedding at Summit on the Park was AMAZING! Patty did such an incredible job of communicating with us leading up to the wedding and keeping us calm with all of the details and decisions. We originally planned the ceremony at the gazebo, but weather did not permit. The staff were wonderful in changing the location of the ceremony the day before. Everything ran so smoothly for the ceremony and reception. Guests even commented on how all of the events were well paced and went off without a hitch. You cannot find a better combination of location, food, and people to work with than Summit!

    After searching various venues, we kept coming back to the Summit on the Park in Canton. What sold us on the venue was the location, FOOD!, single-event per evening, and wedding package offered to us at the time of booking. We did have to work with various sales consultants throughout our wedding planning process, which in the end worked out for us. I cannot say enough about Continental Catering. The food is definitely as good as they advertise. My family is still speaking about the taste, flavors, variety and choice they had during the evening. John, Operations Manager for Continental Catering, was outstanding from our first meeting. As the bride, I did not have a lot of communication with him prior to the event, but he embraced my parents as they entered the hall the day of our wedding and had complete control of the event. John was extremely personable and amazing with his staff. If something did not run as planned, he thought on his feet, communicated the change well and checked back in with us to make sure the evening was running the way we pictured. If guests had a last minute food request, John and his staff met the request within minutes. My husband, my family and I were extremely pleased with our choice of the Summit on the Park/Continental Catering.

    This was my second reception, due to an out of town wedding. And I felt like it was the day of my wedding all over again!!! I used the vendors that Patty suggested and everything was a BLAST. The food was great, the servers were professional, and I didn't feel like I needed to worry about something going wrong. I was able to spend more time with the guests than worrying about anything else. The bathrooms are convenient to get to from the hall & they are big for bigger weddings. Use Summit on the Park and let Patty and her staff make your wedding the better than you could imagine.

    We had our reception here. Everything was great only thing is overall I felt it was a little on the expensive side other venues offered more for same or less of a price. I loved the setting and the park is great for some awesome pictures. Emily was very flexible with the payment plan and eased my mind with how things would run on the day step by step. Overall I had a great experience.

    I love the venue. Despite the rain I was able to take wedding pictures inside. I could not give 5 stars because during the dinner service there was not enough plates and it delayed dinner. I find this hard because not all my guest arrived. Other than that the venue is beautiful, the cost is reasonable for the Canton area, and was lower than a lot of other venues I visited.

    We had both our ceremony and our reception at Summit on the Park. The manager Emily was great to work with and very helpful with ideas. The food was also great and I felt that they offered great pricing for everything that we had!

    We had our reception here on 1/26/13. We picked this venue for the value because we could get open bar, full plated meal, appetizers and desserts for less than what most venues where we live (Royal Oak) charged for just the meal. We also liked that we would be the only wedding reception going on at that time.

    Our experience in getting everything set up was great at first because we worked with Patty who was wonderful. I wanted to taste the food before I committed to spending such a large sum of money and she worked with us to do a tasting prior to putting down a deposit. Most venues I talked to wouldn't never let you taste the food prior to committing to the venue so their willingness to work with me on what was important to me was great as well. They were also very flexible on many other things most venues would not be flexible on.

    Staff changed hands about a month or two before our event and Patty left which caused some stress as many things I talked to with Patty about were not communicated to the staff that took over or not even allowable according to venue policy. I totally understood but that was disappointing and hard to deal with so close to the big day.

    The most important thing though was that on the day of and night of the event the staff was absolutely AMAZING. They treated my husband and I and our guests with the utmost respect and handled all our requests with ease. There was a designated staff person just for my husband and I and if we needed anything I just turned to Sara and she got us drinks and even scissors when I needed to cut a string off my dress. Despite a few little issues prior to the event our event turned out great. The food is extremely wonderful, our guests loved everything and staff that night went out of our way to make us feel special and valued and make it a great experience for everyone.

    I enjoyed working with Summit on the Park for our wedding reception. The only negative comment I have is that between the time that we booked and our reception the management changed hands 4 times. During this time their responses to my emails and phone calls were very delayed. The day of the wedding, everything was beautiful and they delivered!

    Overall the were very accommodating and great to work with! At the end of it all there really wasn't much we could complain about. The room had windows so it had an open feel so I didn't feel like a dark basement dungeon, which is what I didn't want. We took pictures at the gazebo around the corner and they came out great, that was important to me also. A few other things:
    Decor: Chandeliers need to be updated; the room we were in was so nice that we didn't understand why they still had old chandeliers!
    Food: Delicious!
    Sound System: The speakers were a really fuzzy during our slideshow so the music was going in and out, but it did work and our guests were able to see the slides.
    Great venue!

    The main reason we chose Summit on the Park because of all the verbal promises and selling points that Patty Drew extended to us in January 2012. We were promised the bridal room before the wedding, that another wedding would not take place in the same day and constant customer services satisfaction guaranteed. This did not occur for our wedding.
    1) When we signed our contract we were told that we could not downgrade from the contract but to we can upgrade so we were encouraged to sign the package at buffet package until we knew what package we wanted to go with. This was fine until we were contacted and told that the prices of the plates were going up due to the meat prices. This made the package of the contract we signed $47.00 to $51.50.
    2) When we called Patty on the numbers provided she did not like us calling her cell phone after she wrote it down for us and said to call her on that number and only wanted us to call her office number. She was very rude about it and we were not informed to not use that number before.
    3) We were not made aware that a wedding was before our wedding until we went to the florist to ask questions about invitations and designs. We used the required vendors that were provided and the florist informed us on the overlap of events.
    When I mean overlap, I mean that our contract stated that our event started at 4pm and the florist informed us that the party planned before our event was from 1pm-4pm. We did not know about this until it was time to order the invites.
    We had to change the time of the wedding to 4:30pm and we were verbally guaranteed that
    we would still have the bridal room, the ceremony room would be set up properly and the parties would not overlap.
    Every time we, they told us something new that we were not aware of. This was very stressful because it felt like we were getting played in a game. Patty would tell the florist something, the bride would tell the florist something. We were disappointed.
