    We loved working with Sugar Showcase! Our first meeting was so easy - There were plenty of ideas to look at and a designer that was willing to talk about all of the details. The tasting was great, because we got to take samples home as well as request additional flavors. We really enjoyed being able to take our time while we made decisions without feeling pressured. Our cake ended up being both beautiful and delicious!

    Provided many delicious samples to try until we figured out what flavors we wanted. Very professional and it was wonderful having guests come up to me and tell me how gorgeous our cake was before I could even see it. Truly amazing. My original cake venue fell through and I was NOT satisfied with the entire group. It was a blessing in disguise though. I was referred to Sugar Showcase through a friend and they quickly accommodated my needs. They took the panic right out of this bride by saying just a little over a month away from the wedding that they were able to make our cake. Absolutely delicious too. Coconut was our favorite!

    Let me start off by saying, if we hadn't had a wonderful cake decorator in the family to do our cake, we would have gotten our cake at Sugar Showcase. We love their cakes, cookies and retail and the owner Cheri is amazing! She helped us pick out the perfect invitations for our wedding and we absolutely loved them. They were very unique and very cute. I will always go to Sugar Showcase!!

    We got our wedding cake from sugar showcase and couldn't have been happier. The cake was delicious and the design was better than expected. We were able to try enough flavors to make our choice. Everyone commented how good the cake was.

    My wedding cake was fantastic. It was everything we had hoped for. I chose blueberry lemon and hazelnut for my flavors and everyone raved at how good they tasted. The actual cake was gorgeous and turned out exactly how we had envisioned it. Thank you!

    The cake was beautiful and it was delicious!! It was cheaper that every other place and the cake was better than any where else.

    Sugar Showcase did an excellent job on our cake. It was beautiful and we received tons of compliments on it. It was a little pricey, but that was because we ordered an expensive design. We also had way more left over than we anticipated (115 servings, including the top tier, for 150 people). I had called around to many other bakers in this area (Northeast Ohio) and Sugar Showcase was the most reasonable that I could fine, and they have a really good reputation in this area. Their website was amazing and made everything easier because I could look at pictures of other cakes they've done online without going anywhere. I would definitely recommend this vendor.

    Originally, I was looking for a bakery that offered vanilla almond cake with strawberry filling, which is common where I'm from. I was a little disappointed that Sugar Showcase did not offer that, however, they did have a variety of flavors and "swirls" to choose from. I liked that the bakery made samples for you take home while figuring out what flavors you would like. The samples were large enough to share with others. I would suggest eating the cake at room temperature, otherwise it seems dry, but it is not! The second batch of samples that I had were not straight from their fridge and the cake was delicious! It was even more delicious on my wedding day! The shop helped me decorate my cake the way I wanted, the only complaint that I have is that there were not as many flowers on the cake as we had discussed and sketched out. The flowers were supposed to cascade down the cake, but they only added a few here and there. It wasn't a HUGE deal. The cake was still fabulous and delicious! Thanks!

    I highly recommend Sugar Showcase. I was an out of town bride and they were great to work with during the planning process. They were helpful and responsive when answering my questions on the phone and they were also very accommodating with scheduling in-person meetings to discuss details when I was in town.

    Cheryl is a very kind, nice person. During my consultation with her, she listened to my ideas and immediately sketched a cake design that was better than I could have imagined. In person, the cake was beautiful and incredibly detailed. She made the sugar flower accents by hand and matched the colors to my real wedding flowers.

    However, for me, the most important factor was how the cake tasted. And Sugar Showcase cakes are the best! Cheryl had a very extensive flavor listing and some really unique combinations. She also uses buttercream icing instead of fondant, which was really important to me. Cheryl let my husband and I take home samples to try after our consultation and they were all amazing! It was so hard to just choose 2 flavors for our cake. The cake for our wedding was delicious and we got a lot of compliments from family and guests.

    Everyone commented not only on how beautiful the cake looked, but how wonderful it tasted! They also did a groom's cake for us at the rehearsal dinner & it was a hit, as well.

    The wedding cake prepared for us by Sugar Showcase was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had in mind! The two most important things were, though, that our cake tasted FABULOUS and it was very affordable! I was so, so pleased with the fair prices at Sugar Showcase and they certainly can do whatever you want visually-- we kept ours pretty simple by choice, and loved the final product. We would definitely recommend Sugar Showcase, I just wish there had been leftovers so we could eat more but the delicious cake was too popular!

    Things were difficult, we initially were woorking with a wedding planner. I eventually had to order things directly and that went very smoothly.

    Beautiful cake, I didn;t have to worry about a thing with them they took care of everything. Cake was beautiful and delicious. I can't wait til my 1 year anniversary to eat it again.

    The cake was beautiful. The service was not great. The week of the wedding, I got a call that they couldn't use that flavor on the bottom tier (like they promised I could) because the whole thing would fall apart. The day before the wedding, I got a call because they got into a fight with the florist (I had flowers on my cake), and were basically "telling on" the florist. Its a shame they couldn't be more professional, because the cake really was gorgeous.

    The shower cake and wedding cake was provided by the above vendor on October 11th, 2014 for my wedding. When we went to the cake tasting, the cakes that was provided, tasted wonderful. The shower cake came, and it was burnt and the swirl in the White Almond wasn't in the cake. We notified her, and she said that the cake wouldn't cook right if she added more swirl. So, the decision was made to change the wedding cake to 3 different kinds, pumpkin, white almond and raspberry swirl. I kept a copy of the order and this is how very bad the cake was: We asked for red bows and lots and lots of bling on the cake, she put big white bows that match the icing on the cake instead of red bows, and one thin piece of bling that could barely be seen on the cake, there was all kinds of people talking, when you spend $750.00 - $800.00, you hope, you really hope, it's right. The side square cakes were supposed to be sitting on stands, they were flat on the table. The cake was decorated very unprofessional. Between the shower cake and the wedding cake, we spent $1000.00, what a waste of money. Very very disappointed.

    Sugar Showcase did a very good job on the appearance of my cake. However, they were one of the most unprofessional vendors I've ever worked with. They had horrible customer service.

    Horrible experience!! I met with them a few times , the owner initially and then the gentleman that works there. The last meeting we were there for an hour and a half going over the final details and what I wanted / didn't want. I told him I wanted flat colors no irredecent ( which this last conversation I had with him he will correct you with matte and spell it out for you- very rude) . Long story short, I walked into my venue and saw the cake, my heart dropped. It had pearlized flowers , not the colors I wanted, the birch wrap was not the color we had seen before, the seam of the wrap was facing the front ( there is a obvious front and back to our cake). During our meeting if he knew the colors had to be pearlized why didn't he tell me then? I was told there was no extra pearlized spray added, I can't possibly imagine any more pearlized to be added you could see it from a mile away! The pink looked like an Easter pink, I had asked for berry tones. My question about the seam was never addressed. He was very rude on the phone and pretty much told me that I could go ahead and write a negative review. Very poor customer service for a local shop, instead of making it right he would rather have the negative review. I will never go back to sugar showcase and we have gone there since I was little. I have heard several negative comments about them recently and come to find out they are valid! We spent a lot of our hard earned money thay turned out to be exactly what we didn't want, all I was told is there is nothing they can do.
