Karla was so great to work with. Being a destination bride, she made everything easier for me and was my eyes and ears down in Miami. We could not have pulled our wedding off without her. She even added little touches that I didn't think about. We could not have been happier with our choice to hire Karla.

Karla was kind enough to have a contest for a free DOC that we were lucky enough to win. However, had I known what I know now, I would have hired her for her cost in an instant. She is incredibly helpful, responsive, professional, and saved us when our venue was being a serious pain. My semi all-inclusive venue assured me that I didn't need a DOC. Now I know why. They don't someone to be an advocate for you and to make them do their jobs correctly. I highly suggest you have a DOC even if your venue says you don't need one. When your hair is falling out, Karla will have hairspray for you. When your dress gets a stain, Karla will be able to remove it for you. When you venue is being difficult, she will help you work with them. Karla and her husband were working non-stop at our wedding. She set up all our decor (I was our florist) perfectly and was able to work it out even when we had a change in location due to the rain. At the end of the night, they packaged everything up much better than I could have. It was so easy to pick it all up the next day. I could go on and on, but at the end of the day, Karla is wonderful and you will be in great hands with her.

Hiring Karla of Stylish Events was the best decision we made during our wedding planning. At first, we tried to plan the wedding on our own but quickly realized that we needed help. Karla came highly recommended from my best friend. We met with Karla one evening at Starbucks and felt an instant chemistry with her. We told her our vision for the wedding and she never lost sight of it throughout the whole wedding planning process.
Our package included "The Day of Coordinator" service only. However, Karla took time out of her busy schedule to accompany us to various spots around town to meet with vendors. She certainly went above and beyond our expectations. Karla promptly replied to all of our emails and phone calls. She's very knowledgeable about the wedding industry and guided us along the process. We always had a certain comfort level with her and trusted her ideas.
The day of the wedding a few problems arose with the catering manager which she quickly resolved and handled with great professionalism. We never knew there was a problem until she told us after the fact. We appreciated her effort in resolving the issues in the kitchen and not having to advise us of any negative aspects during our wedding. We were glad that everything was taken care of.
We highly recommend Stylish Events and encourage engaged couples to meet with Karla. We strongly feel other couples will feel the same connection that we did.

Karla is by far the best choice we made during wedding planning. I love my photographer and the reception venue, but this woman was the one that made it all flow seamlessly on my wedding day. I am so happy we finally decided to have a DOC and that we chose her. She kept in touch with me every week up to the month of the wedding and in the last month, I think we may have exchanged about 200 emails! She is super sweet but still stands her ground when dealing with your vendors and she is very, very quick to respond to questions or issues. The day of the wedding I truly felt like a guest at all times. The days before, she handled pretty much everything, even taking on the DIY aisle runner that I didn't have time to make (which came out beautiful!). She was managing everyone. EVERYONE. She would come up to us and say, "ok, in 5 minutes you'll walk this way, and go up here, and cut your cake, and then the waiter will..." etc, etc, etc! She made my unruly family coordinated and set up everything for the ceremony and reception perfectly.
She is the queen of emergencies, doing and redoing my bustle (which came kept undoing itself after my BM stepped on my dress) 4 times that night with safety pins, handing out aspirin to whoever needed it in the bridal party and making sure that all our things were safe. She boxed up everything as if she were a fedex expert for us to take home and was there till the very, very end.
I sincerely feel that this is one of those vendors that you CAN live without, especially if it's not in your budget (she was soooo affordable though!), but if you can, get a DOC!!!! They're so helpful and will help you feel at ease at your own wedding so that you can just eat, mingle, dance and get your married on!

Best money we spent! Super organized, attentive and just an all around extremely sweet woman. She herself got married at TRP so she knew all the ins and outs. She took care of everything and handled any issues that came up the day of (I didn't hear about anything until after!) Can't recommend her enough.

Karla was a blessing!!! We decided late into the planning to hire a DOC, and truthfully I was very worried that if I left everything in someone’s hands that has not been a part of the planning process they were not going to get everything perfect. Well, I was completely wrong!!! At our first meeting she was punctual, on target and really helped me organize everything and what I needed. Also, thanks to her we found our Officiant. Karla really went out of her way; she was more than a Day of Coordinator. The day of the wedding I ordered 70 guest chairs and she went out of her way and made sure that hitch brought back 10 more since we were short, the room did not work right with the floor plan that I was thinking about and she tried to keep the same idea and moved a couple of things around which the room look bigger!! She was so attentive the day of the wedding, so had everything perfect!!!! Even my escort rocks, all my DIY projects, favors, and even the sandal bucket. All through out the night she really helped me out with the timing and even after a lovely mother nature incident she held off the garter removal and played it off cool that no one noticed. Her and her husband work wonderful together, I have no idea what I would have done without her. She truly was a life saver!!! And to top it off, when the wedding was over she made sure that nothing was left behind. if anyone is looking for a DOC, i Hughly Rec choosing Karla... this is from a bride that did everything DIY and is SUPER picky. HTH
