SAL IS AWESOME! I can't wait to get my pictures back! He was there snapping pictures and you didn't even know it. Sal put me at ease and was so easy to work with. I always received quick responses from him and he even called with additional questions which made me feel super comfortable and let me know that he was there. THANKS Sal! Michael and I know the pictures will be perfect!

We would NOT recommend the services of Sal and Studio B Photography. Studio B lost our reception photographs and did not have the professional courtesy to inform us. We had to discover it ourselves. Then, he had the nerve to negotiate pricing, instead of refunding 50% of the money we paid upfront.

Not a professional at all. Read on to learn from our experience.

We discovered that our reception pictures were missing after we received a blue ray disc cd, which we could not download, play, or open in any media outlet we had. When we e-mailed regarding this issue, he did not respond.

Then, we requested a relative who is a computer scientist to examine the cd. After some hours, the cd was opened and revealed our pictures only from our wedding ceremony. When we again contacted Sal, we used his website to write to him. he responded to say he will send-out a complete set of pictures; not yet admitting or informing us that the reception pictures were in fact missing. We gave him the benefit of the doubt because the wedding ceremony pictures looked up to standard.

Sal finally called us after two weeks stating that he could only refund 25% not 50% of the money because he had to make-up for his post-production cost. When we questioned how he could do post-production on pictures he never had, he stated he didn't know. Why should clients pay for product he did not deliver? And, if he did not "lose" the pictures than who did? When we asked, he did not respond.

When asked why he couldn't respond sooner and left it to us to discover that our reception pictures were lost under his care, he stated that he delegated that post-production work to another. When asked who, he again did not respond.

There are other written, e-mail excuses that clearly make him inconsistent in what he told us about the "missing" reception pictures. He has yet to refund our 50% of the money. We have requested him several times to take responsibility and do the "right thing" by refunding 50% because only half the agreed-upon product was delivered to us.

Currently, we await his response to our last e-mail informing him of our legal contractual rights.

Our day for justice will come, but in the meantime, I along with my husband want to warn future wives-husbands: He is unresponsive, inconsistent in his dealings and stating things that are not true, not professional in the way he dealt with post-discovery of missing reception pictures.

Do not trust him. He is unprofessional and unresponsive. If he can lose our reception pictures (without delivering a single reason or owning-up to what happened) he can do the same with you.

Also, he claims that he and his wife together. He mentioned in our consultation that he and his wife will come and take pictures together and that we will be entitled to 500 snaps, plus multiple copies of CDs; his wife never showed-up on the wedding day, we never received 500 digital snaps, and we never received multiple copies of CDs.

What makes him even more crooked is that he tried to negotiate with us after discovering that reception pictures were lost.

He was responsible for documenting a sentimental, lifetime memory for us and he failed!

Sal met with my fiance & I about a couple of weeks before the wedding. Sal was a suggestion to us from another photographer that was not available for my wedding date. I told Sal at our meeting that I wanted pictures of my guests before the ceremony, family group pictures, & pictures at the reception. On top of it being a beautiful day, the pictures turned beautifully also! Sal got some candid moments of the wedding party that I will always cherish. He knew just how to move my husband & I into classic wedding momemts. I am extremely happy with the results. I love having a DVD with hundreds of pictures & he does a seperate DVD with your couple's song.

So far not good, our wedding was 5/24/2008. They were not available for FREE initial consultation except some by phone and the week before the wedding very difficult to get in touch with. I was not advised about different photographer or his qualifications, the website did not mention other photographers & I would ASSUME that I would have been told about the other photographer prior to him being used. It has been 6 weeks and I still have yet to see any pictures. Sal made many comments that I heard throughout the ceremony about us not being organized and that was not appreciated. He was not available prior to get anything organized, I was under the assumption that the dj ran the show.... I have no idea how my pictures will turn out at this point. If they are great I will be pleasantly surprised and will let you know thus I cannot really offer true star rating in that regard at this time. He did have good selection of music and overall good attitude once djing other than the comments overheard. I think most people would agree that the owners qualifications really don't matter (as viewed on website) if you do not get that person to take your pictures.

Studio B Photography responded with the following comments:

We're sorry you were not happy with our services. If you review your service agreement, we have the right to replace a photographer at our digression. Since I had to DJ the wedding as well, a second photographer was needed so you would have a photographer. As for my comments on that day, I've already explained and apologized. They were comments made in reference to the venue not being organized, not anyone in the wedding party. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience we caused you.

My wife and I could not be happier with Studio B Photography. Sal came early, stayed late, and even helped us in between events while he was on a break. The pictures were amazing--he really captured the day the way we remembered it. He was great about getting the shot without being intrusive--for the most part we did not even notice him around. We have been so happy with their services that we've hired them on three other occassions, and will continue to hire them at future events. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
