We purchased my daughter's wedding gown from Studio Bridal. The purchase itself went fine. We asked them to bustle the dress and they did not do it (we found out 2 days before the wedding). My daughter called the store once and was told they were too busy so call back. The bridesmaids dresses were also purchased there. When the girls called about their dresses they were given different information by each person they spoke with (the same happened with my daughter).
The staff, depending on who you work with/talk to, are not helpful. Also, they did not accurately measure most of the bridesmaids! I've heard many complaints about dresses not fitting properly when they are picked up.
I would NOT recommend this store. The staff could use a long course in customer service since it is really lacking. There is too much inconsistency of information from the staff, especially on the phone. The whole experience was frustrating for my daughter, her bridesmaids, and me!

To make a long story short, I would NEVER recommend The Studio to anyone shopping for a wedding or prom dress because they tried to rip me off, were very unprofessional, and made me wait for upwards of 30 minutes to try on a dress while 2 of the staff members simply sat behind the counter and let a 3rd staff member run around frantically to pick up their slack.

I originally found the wedding dress I wanted at the studio, took my Mom back to see it the next day (which was the first time I had to wait forever, even though I had called ahead), then brought my bridesmaids and parents in the next day with the intention of making the purchase (which was the 2nd time I had to wait forever, even though I had again called ahead). On the first day the girl helping me had given me a paper coupon for $50 off, I had forgotten this coupon on the third day so the same girl that had given it to told me she couldn't honor the coupon without the physical piece of paper. I thought this was ridiculous since I had been in there for the past 3 days, and honestly, did they think I was going to come in the next day and purchase ANOTHER wedding gown? Either way, I told them I would come by again the next day to make the purchase, but go ahead and fill out the paper work since I was already there. Thats when the rip off began. The dress I wanted was a Casa Blanca priced at $750. However, once we began the paper work the girl told me Casa Blanca had just increased their prices so the dress would now be $850. In addition, she told me Casa Blanca charges a $100 fee for custom making the dress, and that there would be a fee for a bag to put the dress in. In total, the dress all the sudden went from $750 to $960, and this was before any alterations. The girl then took my measurements and was extremely unprofessional by actually making fun of me and laughing in front of all of my bridesmaids! I then left unaware of what was going on until I decided to do a little research that night. It turns out Casa Blanca never increased their prices and don't charge to make a custom dress unless you are actually changing the design of the dress you order. Not to mention, dress bags are free with your purchase at every single dress store I have been to other the The Studio. The next day I found the exact dress in Thomasville and purchased it at their price of $700. Please, please don't be taken advantage of by shopping at this horrible store! They are dishonest, unprofessional, and unbelievably rude.

I had an excellent experience with Studio Bridal. I called initially in August about the availability of my dress the following year-they advised me to come in December to make sure they could get the right dress ordered.

Once the dress came in, they stored it for me at no charge, so I knew it was secure. The fitting staff was very professional (and very reassuring, I was having a fat day during one of my fittings and was ready to cry-they talked me through it).

When the dress was picked up it was perfect, steamed, and ready to go. They had done a thorough training with me and my mother-in-law on how to bustle the dress, so once photos were over it was a snap to get that done.

The staff was very helpful and friendly during my dress selection process. The pricing also seemed fair for the quality of the gowns. The alterations are a little pricey... but that's typical for a wedding gown. I only complaint would be that payment options are sometimes slim. My final alterations had to paid for in cash ($300) and I don't like carrying around that amount of money in cash. Overall though I was very happy with my experience.

I was recommended to go to Studio Bridal by a friend. After arriving, I had to wait over two hours for someone to assist me. The only reason that I purchased my wedding dress from them was that the perfect dress was on sale. I did not get the dress altered with them, I went to Kim's Alterations located on N. Monroe. I recommend that you see what Studio Bridal has to offer, but continue to look around.

I had an excellent experience picking out my dress. When I went to get it altered the charges were high and they messed up the hem of my dress. The salesperson was so nice but the manager was rude. The dress was fixed but the experience made me never want to step foot in that store again. I have heard others say the manager was rude as well. She actually hung up on my mother, who wasn't being rude or anything.

I really wish I could rate different people from this store. The first time I went I had an amazing experience. I fell in love with a dress and purchased it. My wedding was in 4 months from the time I purchased my dress, and was quoted a time of 6-8 weeks for my dress to arrive. After the nine week mark I called Studio Bridal for an update. The lady on the phone was so rude to me. She didn't ask my name, didn't ask when I ordered or when it was expected to be in, instead as soon as I asked "I need to check on the status of my dress order" I was told "well if we didn't call you it is obviously not here!" followed by a hang up. I called back 15 mins later and spoke to someone else who was great on the phone, apologized for the delay and called Alfred Angelo for an update on my dress. Sure enough she called me back within the hour to give me an update. I got my dress alterations done from them as well and did not have a pleasent experience. The seamstress was very rude. My maid of honor was there taking pictures of me in the dress and the lady snapped demanding she not take pictures of HER. The only alterations I had done was my bustle as well as tightening my top of the dress. I asked if I needed to come in for another alteration to make sure everything was fine, they assured me they were easy fixes and would be good for the wedding. Well wedding day arrive needless to say although the bustle was great, I had to safety pin the top of my dress to stop the dress from coming down, and alteration they were supposed to take care of. Like I said I had great experience with some people, others were quite rude.

When I first went into the bridal store I was impressed with the quality of service that they provided. I insisted on looking around at other bridal boutiques, but eventually ended up back in their store to begin my wedding dress hunt. They were very helpful with assisting me with finding the right gown for me and dressed for my bridesmaids. All of us agreed on the dresses that we liked and placed our orders. And that is where it all begin to get sticky. My wedding dress came in too small, even though I tried on the sample dress in the same exact size and it fit perfectly! Then, my bridesmaid's dresses came in and they were way too big! The girls spent more money on alterations then they did on the price of the dresses! My seamstress told me the only thing she could do for my dress was let it out about 1/2 an inch and the rest was up to me (diet and exercise). Annoyed, we all individually either called or stopped by the dress store to voice our opinions about our dresses, when we were sternly told that if we had a problem with our dresses we could just go somewhere else because they didn't need our business that badly. Well, the wedding is only a few months away, you have all of our money, and all we have a dresses that don't fit - where do you want us to go????? Needless to say, I absolutely LOVED all of the dresses that I ordered from them. Their selection is wonderful and they carry beautiful gowns. As far as doing business with them again, thank goodness I'm only getting married once! I would never ever give them my business again!

Walked in and told them my budget. Fell in love with a dress I saw, they responded, "I't's not in your price range".
