Our cake was beautiful and delicious. The people running the bakery were so helpful and easy to work with!

What a priceless gem the town of West Dover, Vermont has in this new and up and coming bakery! We bought our 4 tier carrot cake from Dave and Heather, the lovely young owners. Our initial tasting went wonderfully. Correspondence over the course of a year of wedding planning was responded to quickly. The cake looked fabulous and was absolutely delicious. It was the best carrot cake we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Considering we live quite close to the Main Line of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, that is chock full of outstanding high end bakeries, that is quite an endorsement. The cake was quite moist and was filled with raisins, shredded carrots, nuts and pineapple. The whipped cream cheese frosting was surprisingly light and had just the right combination of cream cheese and sugar. One did not over power the other. Dave and the cake designer, Greg, did an outstanding job. What else would we expect from a baker who apprenticed with the baker at the Ritz Carlton of Philadelphia?

Since we visit the area frequently, we have also had the opportunity to taste other items. Wow! Anything we have tasted is outstanding. From the tiramisu to croissants, everything was delicious.

We froze the top tier for our first anniversary, however, I have a feeling my dear husband and I will be hitting it up before then. Thankfully, we visit West Dover, Vermont yearly. Many thanks to everyone at Sticky Fingers! We never thought we would find something equivalent to home. However, we were happy to find such talent in our second home, West Dover, Vermont. Our August visit can't come soon enough.
