We ordered a gluten-free wedding cake from here and it was out of this world! So delicious that many of my non-gluten-free guests were wanting more :) We also ordered a selection of cupcakes that were divine! Working with Kamber on our order was great - she was very helpful, and came up with a bunch of creative wedding cake ideas. Definitely recommend using them for your wedding!

Kamber Sherrod of the Sticky Fingers Bakery in Washington DC (http://stickyfingersbakery.com/) baked our wedding cake. We were very pleased. I wanted the cake to be, above all, delicious, but I also wanted to accommodate the gluten-free diet of close family and friends. We also had a very specific idea of what we wanted the cake to look like (we wanted it to fit with the flower theme--black-eyed Susans, our favorite flower). Kamber and the Sticky Fingers Bakery met and exceeded expectations on all of these wishes. As part of the deal, we had a tasting--and the gluten-free options were absolutely delicious! We also were able to have different fillings for different tiers of the cake--very helpful, because it was VERY hard to choose just one! Kamber was wonderful to work with, very responsive and accommodating. The cake was perfect--delicious, beautiful, and ALL of our family and friends could eat and enjoy it. We are still receiving compliments on the cake. In retrospect, I would perhaps add an extra tier--not a bite was left at the end of the night (and we over-ordered for the number of guests).

Sticky Fingers is such a great bakery. We were so excited to be able to get a vegan cake for our wedding. Kamber Sherrod was so nice and easy to work with and did a beautiful job with our cake. She was even up for a challenge! We decided on the white cake with raspberry frosting (made with fresh raspberry puree). Kamber said that they normally use the raspberry frosting between the layers and use a vanilla frosting on the outside because the seeds in the puree make it hard to get a smooth look. We told her we did not care about that; we wanted a pink cake anyway and loved the idea of fresh raspberry puree in the frosting. We thought the mottled look would be cool, anyway. Kamber got excited at the challenge and did a superb job! It was beautiful and oh so yummy. Our guests practically licked their plates clean!

I"m severely Gluten sensitive and cannot have cow's milk either. My husband always dreamed of having a wedding cake to cut so we didn't know how to resolve this until Sticky Fingers! We had a Gluten-Free/Dairy-Free Spice cake with Toasted Hazelnut filling and icing with Fondant over top. Very simple (we then had florist put a flower on top and sprinkle rose petals around base) and elegant. It tasted FANTASTIC! Our guests tried it too and loved it (but we didn't know this would happen so had already gotten guests a fancy dessert table). Our only mistake was getting a cake (10") just for us when we should have served this to EVERYONE because many asked to try it and those who did loved it and even some asked if they could take a piece (we said NO because we wanted to save it!). YUMMY. Kamber did a great job. SHe is slow with emails and terrible with voice mail but within about 4-5 days she will reply to emails and will call you when she can. Still she gest the job done without any need to phone and email often. She made samples for us ($3/each) and we could try then decide which to order even if she weren't in that day. They had it ready and it was perfect! Thanks Kamber and Sticky Fingers!!!

This cake was delicious! I'm a vegan, but no one else in my wedding party is even a vegetarian, so they're not all familiar with veg baked goods. Everyone kept saying it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had--vegan or not! I met with Kamber months ago to design the cake and taste different flavors, and she followed up closer to the wedding to make sure everything was still on target. She's very receptive to ideas and super creative. Our cake was exactly what I planned, delivered to our reception site on time, and so tasty! I'd recommend Sticky Fingers not just to veg brides, but to anyone who wants a delicious and beautiful wedding cake that people will be talking about for days to come.

Sticky Fingers is our local bakery - we're totally addicted to their almond creme cupcakes, so having them do our wedding cake (in the same flavor) was a no-brainer. Kamber was absolutely professional and responsive, and the cake was SO GOOD! We got so many complements on it; several of our guests were amazed that it was vegan - we're not vegan, or even vegetarian. One of our guests said the most important thing to her at her own wedding was her cake, and ours was better! I highly recommend Sticky Fingers without any reservations.

This was a great experience!! Kamber was great to work with. The cake was beautiful, great tasting and hassle free. To add to the challenge we needed a Gluten Free Cake. We have tried every Gluten Free Product on the market and this cake was the best!! Nobody knew it was GF. We had tons of compliments on the cake. These complements include additional tastings “the morning after” by sober tasters. The cake was great! We will go to this baker any chance we get.

OH MY GOSH!!!! YUMMY and BEAUTIFUL! Somewhat expensive but worth EVERY penny. My cake matched my invitation and was so good....noboy new it was gluten free and vegan!!!!

I wanted to have a low carbon wedding and I'm a celiac so Sticky Fingers made us 120 cupcakes for our wedding. I loooooove how they tasted and was really impressed with everything they did. I would totally book them again. Amazing work!!

Staff was very helpful and had a lot of great ideas. The cake was delicious too!

I highly recommend Kambor and Sticky Fingers without any reservation whatsoever. She was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. She had many good ideas and listened carefully to my ideas. She delivered the cake exactly when she said she would and spent a great deal of time on-site making sure that it looked absolutely beautiful. Perhaps most important, the cake itself was delicious! She had spent much time with us as we tasted different possibilities and the cake itself was as good or better than the sample. Many guests commented on how moist and delicious it was. She was definitely the right choice for our special day!

Kamber Sherrod makes beautiful wedding cakes. Ours was spectacular. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the amazing cake she crafted.

Kamber constructed flowers out of sugar. They looked lifelike but were edible (and delicious).

I'm so grateful for Sticky Fingers Bakery. My wife and I obviously wanted a cake at our wedding but are both vegans. Sticky Fingers exists for animal lovers and others who do not eat dairy.

The cake that was made for our wedding by Sticky Fingers bakery was nothing short of perfect. During the wedding planning process, I decided that I wanted to have an intricate, unusual design. The cake designer met with me until we were sure that the cake would be exactly what I had in mind, and when I saw the beautiful creation on my wedding day, it exceeded my expectations!!! It helps that it was also delicious. Everyone commented on how good the cake tasted . I could not recommend this vendor more highly!!! Sticky fingers was professional , attentive, and really interested in custom-making a wonderful product. Top marks!

Sticky Fingers or rather Kambor their representative was great to work with. Sometimes it was tricky to get a hold of her and we played phone/email tag a bit, due to the fact that at the time we worked together it was not her full time job, but when we made contact she was always extremely professional and eager to meet my needs in what worked for me, bringing also her tips and extensive knowledge to the space.

I was involved a bit in the design and she really worked with me, returned any unused items, (i.e. ribbons, flowers etc.) and most importantly had such a nice upbeat, cheerful and warm demeanor.

She was dependable, provided me and my husband and his kids with a sample tasting session and complementary coffee.
When we arrived at the store, the table was made and reserved she had pictures and even met with me again to descuss my ideas and never even laughed at my drawings of what I wanted to create!

I had another bridesmaid working with her closely the day of and she said it went great and everything went smoothly.

The Cake was great, well recieved by many and accomadated many diets of those who attended in being dairy free. I asked for the overall sweetness of the frosting to be thinner and toned down sweetness and I couldn't be happier.
I feel they put allot of care into thier work and this was important to me.
I definately did not feel like another number or that I was taken advantage of in any way ...which can be the case when the word "wedding" is mentioned.

I will not hesitate to use them in the future and recommend the store and Kambor especially to anyone interested in working with great vendors. She is artistic and creative, able to work spontaneously with the flowers provided (which were a suprise).
