steve was great! we had the package with our name and the stars and uplighting. our tent turned into a magical place for the evening. we had so many friends and family commenting on how awesome everything looked. steve did a great job of playing the really unique songs we requested, and was flexible when half way through the wedding we had requests for certain songs!!!

Have you ever been so confident with a choice that you do not even think twice about it? That is how I felt once I had selected Steve Moody’s Entertainment Connection. The day of my wedding I kept asking if the cake had arrived or if the flowers were here, but I never once asked if he had arrived. Planning - From day 1, Steve and his wife Lori, were so helpful and careful to follow up and remind me of little things like the date that my online planning forms were due. I was lucky enough to have Steve available on my wedding day and would not have traded that for the world. Ceremony - I had so many people tell me how wonderful our ceremony music was, and sure, they were songs that I had selected, but Steve took the abstract “can we do this?” jumble that I sent him and made it work. Because of him all of our guests could hear the ceremony - he provided microphones to the officiant and the readers. It was awesome. Reception - Where to begin? It took us a while to finish taking pictures because we had a beautiful back drop. When we were finished, Steve had already wrangled up the parents and bridal party for the grand entrance. He had taken the time to explain what I wanted and where to go once they were inside. Awesome. My father-in-law was my husband’s best man and when Steve was announcing the speeches, he commented on how nice he thought that was which I thought was sweet. Then, it happened. We will never give my father in law a microphone again. His speech turned more into a “Roast” of my husband and went on for over 20 minutes. Steve did an amazing job of trying to get him to wrap it up. Once dinner was finished, Steve truly showed us what an amazing MC as well as DJ that he was. He did an amazing job getting us and our guests excited and made sure that our photographers were able to get the best pictures possible of us having a blast. It was a night I will never forget and Steve was a huge part of that. I could not have imagined that night with any other DJ!

Steve Moody was exceptional! From the first time we met Steve, we could tell how much he loved what he does and how passionate he is to make each wedding great! We should start by saying that Steve’s website is very easy to navigate and has a huge selection of music. It was really easy for us to get organized by following his template. We got married at Silver Swan Bayside on August 19, 2012 and had two religious ceremonies and a reception all in one day. We started the day early afternoon with an indoor Hindu ceremony, followed by an outdoor Jewish ceremony. Steve was instrumental in organizing and coordinating our entire event and making sure that there was music throughout the day in the right order. Steve was able to accommodate all of our music requests from Hindu bangra music during the beginning of the Hindu ceremony to traditional Russian/Jewish music during the reception. And, of course, the reception music was great…everything was played that we had requested. Not only was the music great, but Steve had an amazing way of keeping our guests entertained and involved during the reception…the dance floor was always packed!! One of our biggest worries about the day was the schedule of events and timing…Steve was able to move everything and everyone along with ease and calm…we didn’t have to worry about anything!! We would highly recommend Steve Moody for any wedding and wedding reception…He is a true master of ceremonies, DJ, and organizer, and has a great personality that will energize any party! We couldn't be more satisfied with a DJ than we are with Steve Moody. Steve kept the entire receiption going smoothly and kept most of the people up dancing. The dance floor was filled the entire time, all the way up to closing at 11:30 p.m. Steve was right on point with every request my daughter (the bride) had. We had a lot of compliments from our guests on the reception being the best one they'd been to. I would recommend Steve VERY highly!!!

As the mother-of-the-bride, I want to recommend Steve Moody. My daughter's wedding was in July on Kent Island. Steve did a fabulous job being our MC as well as a great DJ. The weather was an absolute disaster and there was a 20 mile backup on the Bay Bridge. The ceremony was to begin at 5:30pm, but didn't start until 7:15pm! 11:00pm was the expected end time, but all of our vendors stayed until after 12:30am so my daughter could have a full reception. As if that wasn't enough, Steve had to catch a 6am flight the next morning! I can't say enough good things about Steve, the music and the photo booth. He did an outstanding job. If you have the opportunity to use him, don't miss out!

I would absolutely recommend Steve Moody and his team for your wedding DJ. He was consistent from the day we booked him until the day of our wedding. In addition, he gave us some fantastic recommendations for other vendors. Matt Spence was our DJ with Becca as his assistant. He was fantastic, flexible and really made our wedding fun. Due to weather related power outages there was a lot of replanning on our wedding day. Steve and Matt were so helpful in making sure our day went smoothly. They offered to bring a generator to power their sound equipment, and in the end were so flexible when we had to change venues. Overall, fantastic company, great DJs, and so easy to work with.

Steve was the best part of my wedding; the dj is what makes your wedding a party and he created an awesome atmosphere. My guests were beyond impressed. He is enthusiastic and so easy to work with. Steve was always willing to help and give suggestions during the process. He was easy to contact and always extremely friendly. Words can't express everything that Steve did for us - he was a major part in our wedding being the best day of our lives and he did just that. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone out there!!

We had Steve Moody DJ our wedding this past weekend. We had heard great reviews of his company and were very excited to have them at our wedding. They were responsive and helpful and their website made song selection very easy. About a week before our wedding Steve called to inform us that our DJ had been in and out of the hospital but that he was going to take over for him. We never had to worry about a thing. Our guests loved him and he did a fantastic job of keeping everyone dancing and having fun. We couldnt have asked for a better experience or a better DJ!

Steve Moody's Entertainment Connection is the best company ever!! We used them for our wedding ceremony and reception. Becca and James were our MC/DJ team and were the absolute best to work with!! Becca and James were very professional, very customer service oriented, and the nicest people you could ever meet; they were one of the main reasons our ceremony/reception was more perfect then we could have hoped for!! We also received tons of compliments about them from our guests. Becca is so sweet and did a wonderful job of keeping all the aspects of both the ceremony and reception flowing perfectly; she checked in with us frequently during the evening and was always letting us 5 minutes before each of the reception events. We knew we would have no problem with getting our guests on the dance floor, but Becca and Jame’s kept the energy of the reception flowing perfectly all evening. The planning process was very stress free with all the details you can plug into the online planning form and you can virtually pick out all your music with the online song database. Becca also met with us the week before our wedding to cover all aspects for our event. Steve and Lori always returned phone calls and emails very promptly, and all our questions and special requests were honored! This company goes above and beyond! Steve Moody and his team are AWESOME! Our DJ Chris was incredible. He played every song on our list of must have's and then some. I told him I wanted a dance party, after all of the wedding reception formalities were thru. He gave us just that!

He got everyone out on the dance floor, and I mean EVERYONE! It was a bit of a trick, but ended up being a halarious line dance. I think my Dad danced to every song they played.

He even played along with my husband's surprise, by changing the ceremony music. It was beautiful..

I had the unique honor of having Steve Moody himself as my wedding DJ. Prior to the event, he made planning a breeze with his online planning form and music database.
