We signed a contract with Stephanie Thompson a year before our wedding and paid in full as she was having a promotion if we pay in full at the time of signing. She WAS very friendly and pleasant throughout our 3 meetings we had before the wedding day. Little did we know, she would left us a couple of weeks before the wedding. She had stopped responding to our calls and emails, would only communicate on facebook. She started making excuses and had become very unprofessional. At the end, she gave us an option to either continue working with her or have our money refunded. After not communicating well with us for two weeks prior to the wedding, we of course chose to have our money refunded as we had lost confidence and trust in her.

We had to hire a downtown Toronto lawyer so we could get our money back as she wouldn't give it in full and insisted on installments! The lesson that we learned is this...don't trust people too much and make sure you have a back up plan. We had to scramble and rush to find a new wedding coordinator and decor! Thank God we found a very good one to replace her.

It was the nicest experience dealing with Stephanie Thompson. We did not have to worry about a single detail the day of the wedding. Everything ran like clockwork. She was given a budget and managed to make my daughters wedding the wedding day of her dreams. Everything was absolutely breathtaking from the decorations to the bouquets. Stephanie looked after every little detail and made sure the day ran smoothly and all from behind the scenes. When planning the wedding she was always quick to respond if we had any questions and had several solutions if there was a problem. She was very professional throughout the entire process from planning to the actual wedding day itself. I found Stephanie to be very good at what she does for a very reasonable cost. She has a wide range of ideas, some we would have never thought of and we found it very refreshing. She took all of our ideas and turned them into a perfect wedding day we will never forget. If you have looking for a wedding decorator or planner for a very reasonable cost that you can count on to make you day absolutely perfect then I strongly recommend Stephanie Thompson Wedding Design. We are certainly glad we did.

We were both very pleased with the services offered by Stephanie, from the very first meeting to the tear down of the decor. My favoraite was that she offered ideas that were within our budget and didn't try to stear us away from that.
If there was something that we wern't completley sold on, she was quick to think to offer another idea, or make a suggestion. What really made my day, was walking into thr Reception and seeing the amount of detail she put into our decor...things that we never even thought about or asked her to do. She did them without us asking.. and it turned out beautiful!

One thing I would suggest doing, if not already, is making a catalouge or photo album of all the things you offer. For example, a section on just decor items that you rent out like vases, candleabras, etc. I feel that this would be a nice item to bring on the first consultation when brides are lost for what they want to do. Even if they do know what they want, they may see more things that they like and will want them apart of their wedding!

Overall it was a wonderful experience and I couldn't of imaged not having her to make our wedding come to life.
