The only suggestion would be to have the cut off for music two weeks before the wedding instead of one week. I didnt realize I needed 4 songs for the ceremony and was caught off guard and then only had less than 24 hours to come up with something.

Stax o wax was incredible for our wedding. They were easy to work with and were available when I had questions. Kurt, one of the owners, was our DJ and at the wedding he played everything we wanted and read the crowd so well with the other music and kept the dancefloor full the entire evening. Stax o Wax also DJed my sister's wedding a few months before and they were amazing for her wedding also! I would recommend this company without hesitation for anyone!!

Stax O Wax is the GREAT!!! I can't say enough good things about the job they did at my weeing in January. They made my ceremony absolutely beautiful. They are totally professional & accommodating (even as I changed things at the last minute). They just went with the flow. That continued with my reception. They did everything that I asked them to do, they played all of my music, and the most important thing, my guest had a great time. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!

Stax O Wax was excellent! They were very helpful in planning our reception and provided us all the tools that we needed to plan. The DJ made sure that we had all the music that we wanted before and during the reception. He answered all the questions that we had.
It was beautiful.

Shawn at Stax O Wax was very professional and accommodating. He was willing to work with us during the ceremony when we had a last second change and was perfectly happy to do so. During the reception, he was on time with all the annoucements, songs and made sure he knew how to pronounce everyone's names (which is something that we felt was important and can be overlooked often).
In Stax O Wax, you get a DJ service that is professional, courteous, attentive and strives to give you the indivisual attention to make sure you get the experience you want. Stax O wax came highly recommended and we would recommend them to anyone who wants a top quality DJ service.

For all future brides this is the one and only DJ company that you should ever speak with. Stax o Wax did a fabulous job, Curt and his partner played everything that we asked to be played and also not to be played. They were all very professional in and out of the office. We had a range of guests from 2 years old to 87 years old and not one person has yet to say they did not have a great time and enjoyed the variety of music that was played. I give Stax O Wax thumbs up and 5 stars for the great job they did for my husband and my self. Don't miss out on the best time ever, call Stax O Wax.

We wanted a DJ who stayed pretty quiet and just played music we liked. Stax-O-Wax did a good job, although we were worried because they're a bit opinionated when you talk to them. They don't come across as having a "customer first" motto.

Stax O Wax was AMAZING. Even when I had to change my wedding date they didn't charge me any fees or penalties. They kept people dancing all night and, unlike other DJS, they played my guests' requests.They were extremely attentive the whole reception and made sure we were satisfied. I only wish I had another event coming up to have Stax DJ! I recommend the Classic package with the Dinner Show. A little more expensive, but definitely worth it!
