Stax O Wax created a wonderful video montage for the reception. It really was professional and sentimental. Utilized our pictures well. They also kept the reception going from introductions to final song. The staff was extremely receptive to our input regarding songs for the montage, the ceremony and the reception. I would highly recommend them for your wedding. The services of Stax O Wax made our wedding day even more special Thanks!!

They were FANTASTIC! From the beginning of the night, till the end, it was the best wedding I have ever gone to. The best part was, it was mine! I can't tell you how incredibly friendly & professional our djs were. They took care of everything. Shawn & Nick did a wonderful job. I will recommend Stax O Wax to anyone needing a dj.

I wanted to let everyone know how great my dj was before I leave for my honeymoon. I hired Stax O Wax after a friend suggested them and I looked at their reviews on Wedding Wire. After talking with them and looking at all the great things that other brides had to say, I booked them. From the very start, I knew that I picked the right dj. They were always helpful answering all of my questions, and never seemed to be put out by answering my questions unlike some of the other djs I talked to.
I'm so happy! The reception was just like I imagined. I danced with my family & friends all night. They played all of my requests, and they kept asking me if there was anything that they could do for me. That really made me feel important. I couldn't be happier with my decision. I hope you pick Stax O Wax as your dj.

I love this company-they did a friend's wedding and I knew immediately that I had to have them for mine. All my guests RAVED about the music, the dinner show, the lights, EVERYTHING. Sean is AWESOME and he made sure my husband and I liked everything. STAX O WAX is FANTASTIC and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.

WOW! These guys are GREAT!!! I just had them for my wedding on July 10, 2009 and I couldn't wait to tell all of you about them. From the first time I met them, I was hooked. They are very professional, and also make you feel like you are part of the family. They were very helpful in planning everything from the ceremony and through the reception. I couldn't be happier! I have 3 friends that are getting married and they already asked me for their number. If you are shopping for a dj in the Chicagoland area, don't bother looking anywhere else. I am a fan forever! These guys are awesome. I used them for my ceremony, reception, and my video montage. I had no clue what music I wanted to use for my ceremony and the office staff was very patient and helpful in helping me make my ceremony beautiful.
I also hired Stax O Wax to make and show my photo montage at the reception. It was more that I could have ever hoped for. I was able to view it at their office before my wedding to make sure it was what I was looking for. My husband & I thought that it was really cool to be able to do that. If you get the montage through them, you won't be disappointed. I looked great, very professional.
We hired the "Classic Package" for the reception and the entertainment during dinner had everyone singing & laughing at the tables. It was a lot of fun. The fun didn't stop there. Once my first dance was done, I didn't leave the floor for the rest of the night, either did my guest. They played all of my songs I requested, and made sure that I was having the time of my life.
I can't say enough good things about Stax O Wax. If you are looking for real professional company, you found them. I will refer them to everybody.

I did a lot of shopping for my wedding, and the only thing that I was certain about getting was my dj. I saw Stax O Wax at my cousins wedding and they were awesome. I called them as soon as I knew my wedding date. They are extremely professional, and I would recommend them to anyone.
The online planning made it really easy to pick the music that I was looking for. The dj (Curt) was very friendly, and played all of my requests. The reception was perfect.
If you are using this review to decide on a dj, go no further, trust me, use Stax O Wax and you will be very pleased.

Stax O Wax was fantastic to work with. They helped us with all of our crazy requests and took care of everything without any problems. Even requests that we had for them the night of the wedding were handled quickly and professionally. They were great to work with and a great value for the money. I highly recommend Stax O Wax!

I am so happy that I listened to my friend, and got Stax O Wax as the dj for my wedding. They were so helpful in planning my ceremony and reception. The music was absolutely PERFECT!!! The light show was great. I will tell everyone about them. They really know what they are doing.

Very impressed by the level of responsiveness from the owner (who also wound up being our deejay) and the quality & condition of their equipment. Many deejays available to work with, they assign based on your requests. Worked out every last detail for the reception about a week before the wedding, and everything went off without a hitch. I got a personal recommendation to work with them, and I would certainly recommend them to others.

Shawn was our actual DJ, but he and Curt both were incredibly helpful throughout our whole planning process. Stax O Wax came HIGHLY recommended to us by at least 5 friends who had used them to DJ their weddings or company parties. True professionals, the gentlemen at Stax O Wax go beyond their call of duty as "DJs". Shawn was so much more than that. He and I talked at great length about what kind of party my groom and I wanted to have and truly brought it to life for us. He communicated with the wedding coordinator at the venue as well as our photographer, let us know timing of events, and happily took requests from our friends and family members. Our guests can't stop talking about what a fun time they had at our wedding and we genuinely thank Stax O Wax for being a part of it!
