  The SLCC was absolutely amazing. Not only was our ceremony venue serene, beautiful and totally unique, but the centre offers the BEST staff. Judith and Gwen from the events team were phenomenal. They responded super quickly to all my questions, allowed us to come to the venue multiple times to measure, talk setup and get comfortable and familiar with the space and became friends to my husband and I.
  
  We had our ceremony on the back patio that now boasts a retractable roof which would have us covered in case of rain. Luckily we had nothing but blue sky so we opened the roof for the length of the ceremony so we could have Blackcomb Mountain backdrop, and following the ceremony the staff were able to close a few panels so our guests could chat in the cool shade.
  
  The Itskin room was off the charts gorgeous. No words can describe the beauty of this room. I recommend the SLCC with all my heart.

  We chose the SLCC to host our two wedding ceremonies (cultural and western), along with our reception. We hosted our cultural ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner reception outdoor on the mezzanine level patio under the cover of their retractable roof (as it was lightly drizzling at the time). The outdoor location made for a beautiful backdrop against the nearby forest and Blackcomb Mountain. We also used Istken Hall (indoors) for our western ceremony in the afternoon and dancing later in the evening. The unique design of this round room was perfect for our ceremony, and made for a great dance floor.
  
  After looking at over 8 different venues in Whistler for our wedding, we could not have been happier with our choice of the SLCC! The staff that we worked with were extremely responsive, flexible to our needs, and very professional. The staff present during the day of our wedding could not have been more friendly, polite, and helpful. We highly recommend this unique venue to any other couples considering a wedding in Whistler, BC.
