We used Spectrum for our DJ and Photographer. The DJ was outstanding and amazing! He went beyond our expectations and would reccomend their DJ services without question.
The photographer was a very nice person, but a complete disaster as far as her competence in taking wedding photos. I am now having to use another photographer to piece together a wedding album for us. After obtaining a release on my photos, I took them to three other photographers to see what could be done with them. They all had the same criticism and to get a set of photos, it is now going to cost me even more. The majority of photos are blurry, need serious photoshop work just to see the people in them. They look as though only a wide angle lense was used. Furthermore, it looks as though the camera was tilted and everyone's legs look short and distorted. As for using a digital camera, it still looks as though the photogrpaher took one shot and moved on. There are too many shots in which people's eyes are closed, or they are looking away, etc. The photographer provided no direction to anyone to get a good photo, especially in the formal shots. The photographer was also consistently unable to get me one small photo to send out with my thank you cards. I negotiated a partial refund with her and even that took months to resolve. I was told one thing, and then another. Finally, something was done, but it was only after I started preparing to file a lawsuit.
Again, the DJ was outstanding, but I would look for other photography services.

I can not say enough nice things about our DJ! We were so impressed! So many people after the wedding could not stop commenting on how fun...yet professional the DJ was. He knew exactly how to keep people dancing and having a good time. They are reliable...on time kinda people and that made us not have to worry about anything on the wedding day. Thank you for making our reception a night everyone...young and old... will remember for years to come!

This was an overall good experience. The only problem we had is that we met with one person to set up our contract and music list, then had a different DJ. The DJ apparently did not get our list of music we wanted to hear. We had a list of a lot of 80's music and we only got to hear one song from the 80's and one of our guests had to request that. So I would make sure I met with the DJ before to make sure you are on the same page about music.

This company was very easy to work with. Doug Knight was my DJ and he was prompt and flexible since the ceremony was changed at the last minute from outside to inside. He definitely helped the flow of the day. We would use this company and this DJ again.

After our intial meeting with Spectrum and our first several emails with our contact, we stopped hearing from him. We started to shop around again, but eventually heard from someone else with the company and decided to stay with them. We did not regret this decision! We had a great reception. Everyone had fun! The music was exactly what we wanted, the tone was approprate, and the DJ's personality was great! The evening started out with softer, older music and as the reception progressed and older people headed home, things got more current and a little louder. Our friends and relatives all had a great time and we did too.

We booked Scott Mikell as our DJ and could not have been happier. The contact people in the office were wonderful and very helpful. We actually chose Scott based on his reviews from the website and were very pleased. They have a list of songs that they give you to mark ones you don't want and ones you definitely want and we did not do that. Despite our lack of help Scott was perfect. All we requested was that everything be tailored to the age groups there at any time and that there be no specialty songs like the Macarena or YMCA. He was amazing, everyone loved it and we had all ages dancing at any given time. I would highly recommend Spectrum and Scott for any event.

This company is great to work with. The DJs are great and now how to get a party going. I had a conservative church group but my Dj got them all on the dance floor partying it up. They have every song that you can think of and they don't have the song and you want they get if for you, no problems. These men have a great deal of experience and now how run a reception smoothly. In addition to this they know music so they know what songs will sound great doing those "special moments". The price is nothing for the level of service you receive! I highly recommend!!!

They say that Spectrum is the best, and I believe it. We worked with Matt Osborne and he was fantastic!!
He played everything we asked him to play, guided us through the reception (thank God someone did!!), and best of all, he was very considerate of my request to make sure my dad had a place to sit down during the bride/groom dance and other times when guests would be standing for a long period of time. Actually, I think he may have made it his personal goal to make sure my dad was okay! It truly eased my mind in ways I can't describe.
Prior to the wedding, we met w/ Matt for a consultation and he immediately understood that we didn't want a slew of cheesy music. His suggestions were immediately customized to our taste, and he saved us a ton of time. An added bonus, Matt had DJ'ed at our venue before, so he was familiar with the electrical setup there and was able to advise us on the best layout of the venue with regards to to setting up the DJ table, speakers, etc.
We were also at peace of mind knowing that we were working with a group that had several DJ's so that if anything happened that Matt wasn't available on the day of our wedding, someone would be there. I never wanted to put all of my eggs in one basket in terms of a DJ....so Spectrum was perfect for us.

We used Matt Osborne from Spectrum Entertainment as our DJ for both our ceremony and reception. He was great - obviously knew was he was doing and had handled weddings at our venue (Anthony's) before, plus was very understanding and receptive about the kinds of things we wanted and didn't want.

The company is very professional and easy to deal with. The music selection of our DJ was a little disappointing, though. He accomodated us by playing the music we wanted for dinner, and this was great. If you go with Spectrum, I recommend talking to their DJs very specifically before the event starts so that everyone is on the same page.

I was not satisfied with my first engagement video (I didn't provide enough pictures) and he happily redid it for me. He was happy to be at the wedding, shot all of the important people and my video turned out great!
