The best part about this company is the great way you are able to set up your play list. Leading up to the event, you are provided a website in which to fill out all your event information as well as request songs and/or genres of music to be played at your event. If the song is not listed, they will find it for you.
Everyone had a great time at our wedding reception, dancing the night away thanks to the great music! A perfect blend of our tastes and songs all the guests would enjoy!

BRIDES BEWARE!!!!! LOU GUZZO CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO US SO WE BOOKED HIM IN JUNE 2008 FOR A MAY 2009 WEDDING!!! THE WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING HE LEAVES A MESSAGE THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO THE WEDDING OR RECEPTION BECAUSE OF PERSONAL PROBLEMS TO MUCH INFORMATION!! HE PRECEDED TO TELL ME ALL ABOUT, BUT HE IS SENDING A VERY QUALIFIED DJ TO TAKE HIS PLACE!!! WELL HE SENT A DEAD FISH IN THE SEA BY THE NAME OF ANDY!!! PAID FOR 2 SOUND SYSTEMS, THE SOUND SYSTEM FOR THE CEREMONY DID NOT WORK SO HE USED THE SOUND SYSTEM FOR THE RECEPTION WHICH WAS IN A SEPERATE BUILDING AND DID NOT PLAY THE MUSIC ACCORDING TO THE TIME LINE AT ALL SO NEEDLESS TO SAY THE CEREMONY WAS A DISASTER. THEN THE DISASTER CONTINUES WITH ANDY AT THE RECEPTION, COULD NOT HEAR THE BRIDAL PARTY INTRODUCTION AT ALL AND THAT WAS THE ONLY WORDS HE SPOKE ALL NIGHT!! NEEDLESS TO SAY HE DID NOTHING TO GET THE CROWD INVOLVED!!THANK GOODNESS FOR OUR FAMILY DANCING, WE COULD HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT SPECTURM'S HELP!!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE EVENT WAS PATHETIC, CHRIS AND LOU, IN TRYING TO GET A REFUND ON THIS DISASTER! TOOK MONTHS TO GET A SMALL PORTION OF IT BACK!! BRIDES, THIS IS TO BE ONE OF THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE! TAKE MY ADVICE AND KEEP LOOKING, DON'T SETTLE FOR THIS!! OUR DAUGHTER GETTING MARRIED=PRICELESS/THIS COMPANY=WORTHLESS!!!

Our DJ was Jim. He did a great job and all our friends really loved the music selection. We picked out some songs beforehand & he adapted to the genre of the song selection. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor. Our wedding was only partially in English so he figured everything out pretty well. Jim also adapted to the last minute changes of the reception timeline & coordinated everything with our MC & photographers. We ended the reception earlier than anticipated so Jim stayed around & played background music until most people left.
The one glitch we had was he couldn't find the song to our 1st dance so we dance to another song. Later, he found the song so we danced to it too. We were pretty happy with having two first dances.
Spectrum also went out of their way to educate our outdoor venue around having speakers & regulating the noise levels. Overall, we had a great experience with everyone we dealt with at Spectrum. I would highly recommend them.
One thing that sort of threw us back was we had to select the music for every events during the reception & some more. I'm not sure if this is the norm. Before this, I was under the impression that you tell the DJ your 1st dance song & music style & he would have everything for you. So we ended up spending a good amount of time before the wedding picking out music.

Our DJ, Lou, was phenomenal! He was so organized and knew exactly what he was doing! We had great communication before the wedding. The day of, I was a mess. Lou took over and did an excellent job! He played songs everyone liked and that were appropriate for all our guests! Lou was fun and very entertaining all night!

Jimmy Economos was awesome! He followed up on our songlist, played some traditional Irish songs during dinner, and was a hit with everyone. He knows how to read the crowd and vary the music.

My DJ was Jimmy Economos and he did a fantastic job! There were people dancing the entire reception and I recieved many compliments on the music. My husband and I had a fantastic time because Jimmy took care of everything.. we loved it!

Matt Osbourn was our DJ for both our ceremony music and our reception. He was amazing! He was extremely helpful in selecting ceremony music that was right for us- both something traditional and not the same as everyone else. My husband and I selected songs we liked, songs we had to have, and songs that we never want to hear again; and, Matt created the perfect balance. Everyone danced, even my grandmother who is known for never dancing (and didn't dance at my cousin's wedding a few months prior)! His timing was spot on and his personality is wonderful.

My DJ was Eric and he was amazing, he even got people to get up and dance and taught them some steps..every one loved him. Dianne Hudson was our photographer and is did an amazing job, she was friendly, easy going and very flexible. The pictures are so beautiful that all our friends took her number to do family pictures.
Joe was our Videographer and he did a good job putting the wedding DVD together, he does any editing you need and makes it unique.
I will use Spectrum again for all our special occasions, they were more than professional and very friendly at the same time.

Spectrum provided great service at our reception and kept everyone dancing. However, things were not totally smooth in the planning phase. Our DJ consistently made mistakes in our event timeline leading up to the wedding and it took us several attempts to get it corrected so it matched the other vendors.
The other issue I had was that 4 days before our wedding the DJ said he could not find the song we wanted played for the bride and groom's first dance. We had met with him a couple of months prior to the wedding and gave him the song choice so it was frustrating to get this news so late.
My husband ended up buying the song on Amazon and sending it to the DJ but in my opinion this should have been handled during our final meeting or shortly thereafter, and NOT 4 days before the wedding.

Our DJ, Scott Mikkel was wonderful. He agreed to stay an extra half hour for a small additional fee and was very meticulous about playing the songs we wanted and checking with us before playing anything we had blacked out, even if requested by our guests. I was very pleased with their service.
