Kim and Rachel were wonderful. They made everyone in our wedding party feel and look terrific. My daughter (the bride) said she never felt more beautiful. They were both extremely professional, efficient and flexible. Having them come to the house the day of the wedding was great because it took away the stress of having to travel, etc. I would recommend both women highly. If you want a great experience, if you want to feel and look your best, if you want to have less stress ...... call Rachel and Kim for you wedding day beauty needs!!!

Kim Poutre was a professional from beginning to end. She is organized, calm and timely - perfect for what can be a stressful day! Her work was magical. She used colors and techniques that accentuated my features yet made me look natural. I never touched my face up for the entire day.

Kim and Amy of Special Event beauty are genius! I had a catastrophe the week before my wedding and large skin infection on my nose that Kim was able to totally conceal with makeup- airbrush is a must for a wedding! Kim is so knowledgeable and professional about her business, and easy to work with. They were calm and efficient on the morning of my wedding to do hair and makeup for me and 7 others. I found them through a coworker's rec an could not have been happier. I had 3 other trials with qualified beauticians but Kim and Amy listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy with the final look. They also provided lip gloss and touch up papers. I would definitely rec Special Event Beauty for wedding hair and makeup!

Special Event Beauty was incredibly accomodating and professional. They really know what they're doing and have the ability to help Brides look like themselves on their Wedding day- just more enhanced and glowing. I called them only 3 months before my Wedding, as my other hair and makeup person fell through. They immediately set me up for a hair and makeup trial, which went wonderfully. I brought one of my bridesmaids with me, who was also engaged, and she was so impressed that she decided to use my wedding as her hair and makeup trial with them! Kim and Rachel were very flexible also- I decided a few weeks before my Wedding that I wanted a different hair style than I'd decided at the trial and I was only able to tell Rachel about it the morning of my Wedding, and she listened to exactly what I wanted, and it came out perfect. I was so happy that Kim did my makeup just like she'd done at the trial because I was so thrilled with how it came out that day and received so many compliments after my trial. All throughout my Wedding day and night I received so many compliments on how wonderful my hair and makeup looked. My Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid also got their hair and makeup done for my wedding and they absolutely loved it and also received tons of compliments! If you want to look your absolute best and have your makeup and hair done by experienced and professional women, you should definitely go with them- they are the best, and the value for the cost is truly amazing!

I can't say enough good things about Kim and Amy of Special Event Beauty. They both take their jobs personally, and took every effort to create a sophisticated and stunning look for myself and the bridal party. I felt beautiful all night! Both Kim and Amy's style is calm, and professional. They are reliable and true to their word. Expect no surprises, flexibility and perfection from this pair. Book early because I bet they are filling up!

I am not the bride but the mother of the bride. I felt Kim and SPecial Event Beauty did a fantastic job. We all looked so natural. I have been to make up counters and spas before but always felt made up for a broadway show. The value for the cost was phenominal. I have recommended Special Event Beauty to many of my friends and they have been very happy. Some of my friends used them for other events than a wedding. Best investment for the money.

I am extremely happpy I chose Special Event Beauty as my hair and makeup stylists for my wedding. I had 11 people getting their hair and makeup done for a 2pm wedding. Kim and Rachel were so extremely Reasonably priced and did such an amazing job making me and my wedding party look beautiful all in a timely manner.
