Do not have your wedding here. The owner was extremely disrespectful and rude to me and my family when we sat down to talk about our wedding plans. He was the most arrogant person I have ever talk to at any venue. Please do not give this place your business.

South Gate Manor is the place to go. The service and professionalism is above and beyond. The place is absolutely gorgeous if you have not stopped in to see it you are missing out. Every single guest was overly impressed and can't stop talking about how nice everything was from the individual wait staff at each table, the cocktail room, the outside area, everything is top notch. I could go on and on about how nice it is but you need to see the place. The owners and staff were on top of everything before we could ask for something it was already there. I highly recommend South Gate and can guarantee you will not be let down.

Words can not describe what an amazing amazing wedding we had at South Gate. From meeting Chris Marino and his family over a year ago, to seeing them and his staff the night of, every single thing we wanted was executed. Maitre D Bobby took care of everything. We didn't have to worry about a single thing. We were able to enjoy our flawless night. Jennifer, my bridal attendent was also incredible. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and venetian hour were something out of a fairytale. I also used the house photographer, Visual Image- Brian and Joe, all I can say is amazing. So nice and attentive, tons of creative ideas- I can't wait to see the final product!! The DJ, Vito from Dash of Class, had the party going all night, which is exactly what we wanted.. Myself and the groom never left the dance floor!! All and all, I could not ask for more!! Highly recommend South Gate Manor

South Gate Manor is the perfect wedding venue!!! It is absolutely gorgeous and the food, service and staff are amazing. The first time I went to South Gate Manor as a guest, I knew I wanted to get married there. We held our ceremony outside and over 200 guests danced the night away with us inside. The cocktail hour is phenomenal and the food is outstanding. South Gate Manor really knows how to host the perfect wedding. They have every detail down and they do it to perfection. The day of my wedding my dress broke. The amazing maitre d’ fixed my entire dress, front and back and bustled it. There are no words to describe how grateful I am. I was also completely calm while this was all going on because the staff there is so wonderful! Not only was the staff wonderful to us, but they were wonderful to every guest at our wedding. So many of our friends and family have told us how great the staff, service and food were. Bobby, the maitre d', and Jennifer, the bridal attendant, were helping me throughout the night and they are so amazing! Chris Marino and Matthew Marino also helped me throughout the planning, the ceremony and that night. They are always ready to answer any questions you have. South Gate Manor is the perfect place to have your wedding!!!! Thank you South Gate Manor for giving us the best day of our life!!!! We are forever grateful and we can’t wait to come again in July/2012 as guests for our friends wedding! South Gate is the BEST!

Thank you South Gate Manor for providing me the GREATEST wedding a girl can image. Chris made me feel that everything will be wonderful from the first day we meet. He acting on his word!!! Words can describe how wonderful they treated us. The ambience walking into the ceremony, cocktail and reception was flawless. All of the 150 guest truly felt that they were treated like royalty. Food was wonderful especially the custom mango Pork Chop!!! As for Jennifer the maitre d' you went beyond making everything go smoothly that day. Jennifer the bride attendant... Thank you for helping as well. South Gate Manor will always be the recommended as the best venue in my eyes!

We got married at south gate in august and it is unbelievable !!! The Marinos are so professional and really do know what they are doing! My guests all loved the cocktail hour and many guests raved about south gate - even when I got back from my honeymoon ! You cannot go wrong with choosing south gate. Not only did my husband and i have the best time ever, we knew our guests were as well! And by the way, marlene marino does flowers and she does the most amazing bouquets and centerpieces. I was completely shocked when I saw how everything came together. Chris, Matthew, Larry, Marlene, and the whole staff are the nicest people you will meet when it comes to planning your wedding. I recommend south gate 150 percent!!!!

Can't say enough good things about South Gate Manor. As with all brides, I was nervous about all of the details leading up to the big day. But when the day arrived, they took care of EVERYTHING. Couldn't imagine having my wedding without having Jennifer and Bobby by our sides! They became family in one night. We actually were able to enjoy our own wedding because they worried about all the details. Very experienced and professional. You will not need to worry about service as the whole staff makes your guests feel like celebrities! Amazing food, drinks and the venue itself is gorgeous. Thank you for making our big day go so smoothly. The Venetian hour impressed our guests so much! People kept saying they could die right there and be happy! So happy we found South Gate Manor!

South Gate Manor was awesome! I loved it from the moment I saw it and our wedding was so beautiful. We are Italian and the food was super important to my dad and he really liked it, so that says a lot. People are literally still calling my mom and I and raving, saying it was the best wedding they ever went to! It was literally everything I could have hoped for! Bobby and Jennifer were AWESOME!!! They really do tend to your every need, I was not expecting that! Bobby was even fixing my bridesmaid's necklace for the pictures (the clasp was showing) and Jennifer ended up sewing my bustle in the hallway because it kept falling when I was dancing. We had a great time, it was such an amazing wedding, I want to do it all over again!!!

We chose South Gate Manor after searching many venues for our wedding. It was a great decision. From beginning to end, the whole Marino family was helpful, patient, and kind. They only cared about making our wedding day exactly what we wanted it to be. The day of my wedding I had two people waiting on me hand and foot! We shared the room because we had a summer wedding and could not guarantee the minimum amount for the whole room, which made me nervous. However, that wall really is sound proof! We didn't hear the other wedding at all and they stagger the receptions, so it was perfect. We had the elite cocktail hour, all the wonderful things in the middle with the dinner, and the venetian hour. The venetian hour was the most unbelievable thing I have ever seen! I think everyone should have it! The amount of food and the quality of food was phenomenal. We also used most of their vendors and were happy with all of them. South Gate Manor truly gave me the wedding I dreamed about for so long. I cannot thank the Marino family enough for making my wedding day so wonderful. My guests are still talking about my wedding a month later. I hope I am lucky enough to go back there someday for another wedding! :-)

The South Gate Manor was our 14th stop in our search for the perfect wedding venue, when we walked in I knew right away that this was the perfect venue for our wedding. My husband and I were married on March 5, 2011, we had about 350 people at our wedding. The South Gate Manor provided excellent food and service to us and our guests. The owners of the South Gate Manor were very helpful when it was time for us to pick our food, cake, drinks, and flowers. They provided us with excellent suggestions whenever we couldn't decide. We had our flowers done by the South Gate as well, the centerpieces were beautiful, I knew what colors I wanted but I know nothing about flowers, they provided us with excellent choices at great price! We had a total of 20 people in our wedding party and we were a rowdy bunch, Bobby the matrade was excellent, he handled our wedding party great! Both matrade's made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed and that we were happy! All of our guests are still talking about how wonderful the wedding was. The South Gate Manor is the perfect place to have that fairy tale wedding all of us brides having been dreaming about since we were little. My husband and I can not say enough good things about the South Gate Manor and about those who work there. We would like to thank the Marino family and their staff for such a wonderful and unforgettable evening!

Words cannot express how I feel about SGM and its entire staff. We fell in Love with this venue from my initial meeting with Chris, then Matt, and then Marlene. It did not feel like we were sitting with a car sales man like every other hall we visited. In terms of price, all I can say is that they did work within our budget and really did go the extra mile. I recently had my wedding there-Ceremony and Reception. Marlene took the time to understand my vision & created the most elegant bouquets and centerpieces I have ever seen. OMG, the way she decorated for my ceremony was so beautiful and so romantic-HIGHLY recommend her!!. Her daughter even checked my bouquet as soon as I arrived to the hall to make sure it was ok! Although I didnt have much time in cocktail hr, the food was out of this world -Flavored Vodka bar was a hit -and so was the room itself. People still are raving about how this was the best wedding they went to. Jennifer and Bobby-maitre-de were unbelievable and never left my side the entire night. Chris even went out of his way to pick up our marriage license for us since we are from NY! Matt, being such a nice guy, took the time to hand pick desserts for me during our venetian hour since I was too busy on the dance floor. They even drove some of my guests back to the hotel!! This should hopefully give you an idea of the kind of people you are dealing with. I hope to go back there some day as a guest!

The staff at the South Gate Manor was excellent. The food was so outstanding that my out of town guests thought the cocktail hour was the wedding reception. Everyone ate and drank to their hearts content all night long! Beautiful cocktail hour space and reception room. Can't say enough about the fantastic job they did! Thank you again!!

Bobby and Jennifer made our day PERFECT!!!!!! Whatever we needed or wanted they were their. I loved everything about my wedding because they were there on that day!!

We had my daughters wedding at the SGM June 26 2010 we had over 225 guests. Chris helped us with the planning. From day one before we even signed a contract he could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We had the pleasure to meet with Larry on 3 occasions he was equally as pleasant and helpful. THE SOUTH GATE MANOR IS A PERFECT 10. The staff was pleasant and attentive, the four owners were present durring the reception and were connected through a wireless earpiece to their staff as soon as anyone needed something they were right there within minutes. My wife had a drink spill on her gown as we were going to take pictures within a minute Jen was there with cleaning solutions to take the stain out. The room where the cocktail hour was seated about 200 people plus outside seating, couches, tables. One of the best cocktail hours I’ve seen. FOOD beef was done perfectly, Salmon was great, and Chris even hooked me up with Tuna which wasn't one of the choices. The Venetian hour was THE BEST I’ve ever seen, beyond deion. I fell in love with South Gate Manor the moment I walked in. I went to many places prior and felt relieved when I entered their building. It is so beautiful, words can't even describe it. And, there is not one piece of gauty carpet in the building that I was seeing at every other hall. On my wedding day, they made me feel like I was a queen. Between the lady in waiting and the matre de, I didn't have to think at all. They made sure everything went smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. My wish was there command. All of my quests said that this was the nicest wedding that they have ever been to. Both the food and the service was ecxellent. Everyone is still talkig about it. I highly recommend this place. The Marino family does a great job.
