Sonia Roselli is amazing at what she does! Every bride, in my opinion, needs to have their make up professionally done for their Big Day - it's just an absolute must-do! Sonia is so fun and so laid back too! She does airbrush make up and will put on long fake eyelashes for you which is also a must-do for your wedding day (unless if you are blessed of course with long thick eyelashes). She does a "preview" for you before your wedding day which is a run-through of your make up beforehand and tweaks up your look until you finally love your wedding day make-up. My make up stayed on the whole night with just some touch ups with some lip gloss here and there. At the last minute I decided that I wanted to have all of my bridesmaids and the moms done up too (a total of 10 ladies!) and Sonia was able to bring in an assistant - and not just any assistant - J. Hudson's own make up artist! All of us definitely felt like celebrities while we got our make up done. Sonia is absolutely a dream to work with and definitely well worth the money! I wish I could get my make up done everyday by her.... ;-)

Sonia was a great vendor to work with! I was so pleased with my makeup and I know all my bridesmaids felt the same. She made us look glamourous without making us feel cakey or overdone. I think I looked natural but at the same time better than I've ever looked, so that was quite a feat. Sonia is undoubtedly expensive but I really felt like it was worth it to work with her. She is hysterical and kept up cracking up the whole morning. She just has a good soul and that comes through when you work with her. If it's in your budget, I definitely recommend Sonia.

Sonia is great, and she trains her staff to makeup well. Initially, booking the service was a challenge because Sonia went through about three secretaries. With the changes, I was a bit nervous I would have a hair and makeup appointment on my wedding day, but then she hired someone great and attentive. Emails were answered and appointments were clarified. I cannot say enough about my hair and makeup. Nika did a great job! I looked gorgeous! They did a fabulous job on my (the bride) hair, but others in the group did not like their hair as much. Of course, they did not let Nika know they wanted their hairstyle tweaked a bit. I think the focus was kept on the bride. The only other problem was hair and makeup ran almost two hours late. Sonia also did a great job with the spray tan.

Right when I met Sonia, I wanted to book her right away! Her personality and professionalism made everything so easy and fun. Her make-up is AMAZING! I have to say that I'm a sweater and a cryer, but her make-up stay on and looked fresh even in 90 degree weather! All my bridesmaids loved their make-up and I got so many compliments on how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. Thank you so much, Sonia, for an awesome job. I already have people asking me who did my make-up on my wedding day. I will recommend you over and over again!

Sorry to pile on the praise, but you gotta love Sonia. Such a great gal, and so easy to get along with. And she made us ultra hot. My makeup lasted all night and felt great. So glad we booked her before her rates went up even more. She is QUITE in demand!!!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! I Love Sonia!!! She did a fantastic job on me and by bridal party!!! She was also in the throws of opening up her store and was very easy to work with and she was super great!!!!!! I did a preview with her in October 2007 and I was so excited to work with her for my wedding and everything turned out wonderful!

If you are getting married in Chicago, the first vendor you need to book is Sonia!! She made myself, as well as my mother, aunts and bridesmaids look and feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I got so many compliments on my makeup at my wedding as well as at my rehearsal dinner, which Sonia did as well.
She also makes the whole experience so much fun!!! The day of my wedding of course, I was so nervous and Sonia totally put my mind at ease. She is fun, hilarious and makes you look and feel beautiful everytime she does your makeup!!
I would recommend booking her early , bc she books up very quickly....that is the only "problem", but proof that she is the best in the city.....you will totally love her!!!

Five out of six girls she did looked fabulous but she ran out of time on the last girl. Sonia was 45 minutes late, I had to call and ask when she was getting there and then there was a mix-up with money that she waited to bring up till my wedding day. I sent her a check in the mail and an e-mail saying to let me know if she did not get it a month before the wedding and that day she tells me she never got it but it was cashed on my end. She said it was fine after we went back and fourth a bit and I said I would take care of it after the wedding but the whole thing was horribly uncomfortable and I got the impression it was not fine and worrying about who cashed my check was not what I need to be worrying about the day of the wedding when I e-mailed her about it a month before. Would I hire her again? Not sure because 5 of 6 looked amazing and she really knows what she is doing but I just expected more professionalism for that price and how highly she is reviewed.

What can I say that hasn't been said before? Sonia is a rock star when she "beats" your face. Between the two trials I had with her, we came up with the perfect look for me. She is fabulous. I love her.
Sonia specializes in airbrush make-up. Between my mother-in-law and bridesmaids, I would thankfully able to meet her minimum. Sonia applied my make-up at noon and it was still looking fabulous at 2AM. I didn't lose one faux eyelash!
I am anxiously awaiting the opening of her new store. I would highly recommend.

Sonia rocked! She is very good at what she does, and I definitely recommend air brush. It feels so light, yet it stays on the entire night. Sonia worked quickly and made us all look like supermodels.

Sonia is a rock star and I absolutely love her! She makes you feel and look gorgeous the entire night. After our first trial I had a few concerns that I expressed to Sonia and she immediately put me at ease. I had a total of three outfits for the wedding and Sonia applied my makeup flawlessly so that each and every outfit looked great with the makeup. The colors she decided on were perfect. The makeup felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all. My bridesmaids and the mothers looked fantastic as well. We were complimented throughout the night. Sonia is a lovely person at heart with a great sense of humor. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her and I look forward to what the future holds for this talented young woman. Her store will be opening soon and I am thrilled to know that there is someone I can truly trust to beat my face for any occasion.

What can I say? Sonia is the best. She was booked when I first called, but she had a cancellation and called me right away! I got compliments all day long on my make-up, as well as my bridal party. She knew exactly what was needed to make each of us look great!

Andie Cumber was my makeup artist. Her work is amazing - the make up lasted til the end of the reception, it gave me and my bridesmaids a very glamorous look that still appeared natural and not overdone, it looked great in photos AND in person. Andie is a very fun person to work with, and helped to keep spirits up when we were getting ready even though things were stressful. They provide on-location makeup, so it was extremely convenient. Their prices are a bit more than the average make-up artist. I thought it was worth it for the final product, but it may not be as feasible for other brides who really need to cut costs.
