Jessica, Jenna and Jennifer did make-up and hair for me and my bridesmaids for my August 27, 2011 wedding. They did an AMAZING job!!! The girls all came over to my parents house the morning of our wedding and were so much fun to hang out with. It was such a great, relaxing environment to enjoy the morning of my wedding. All of the girls looked amazing. Our guests were commenting on how pretty everyone looked. Jenna and Jennifer did a fantastic job on everyone’s hair. No one was disappointed and they all felt they had gotten what they asked for and more. And everyone looked great all day and all night long! Jessica did air brush make-up for me and all of the girls and everyone looked stunning. Some of the girls were shocked because they had never seen their make-up look so good! Even our photographers commented that everyone looked coordinated in their “look”. Our hair all looked very polished and pretty and everyone’s make-up was natural, but in a very glamorous way. We haven’t seen pictures yet from the photographer, but in the candids, everyone looks stunning. I can’t thank Jessica, Jenna and Jennifer enough!!! I chose to go with Sonia Roselli Studios because I had such a great experience at my trial. Sonia was actually teaching a make-up class during my trial and I picked up some tips and can’t wait to stop by her studio soon for a real lesson. Even though I didn’t have Sonia on my big day, I am absolutely thrilled with the ladies that represented her studio and would recommend them to anyone looking for that professional touch for a big event. I couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Sonia Roselli deserves the highest rating possible. Our experience with her was flawless—just like our makeup! I'm the MOB and did a lot of research looking for the right make-up artist for my daughter and her wedding party. (And I'm so glad my daughter encouraged me to have my makeup done too!) Sonia's name kept popping up as the best in Chicago. The day of the wedding, despite unbelievable heat and humidity, Sonia applied just the right makeup that stayed on perfectly all night long. She worked quickly, but expertly, and managed to keep us all calm, laughing and enjoying that special time in the hours before the wedding. The makeup was tailored to each individual's preferences and personal style and we were all very happy with the results. Both in person and in photos, everyone looked wonderful. It is so important to have the right makeup, since the photos—especially the close-ups---will be what you will look at and remember for the rest of your life. I was thrilled with our experience with Sonia.

Sonia responded instantly, and we began corresponding back and forth about the various services offered. It turned out that most of her team was booked for my wedding day, and so I made a snap decision and booked a hair and makeup team that day over email because of how personable Sonia was! From the moment I went in for my trial, I knew I had made the right choice. Claudia and Sana made me feel like a celebrity, and they created the best version of me for my wedding. On the actual day, all 7 bridesmaids and both mothers were at my mom's house, and everyone had such a great time! Even though we had a little bit of a time crunch, everyone single girl came out looking gorgeous and beyond expectations! Our airbrushing looked natural, fabulous, and stayed on all night through lots of dancing! I would recommend Sonia and her team to anyone who is looking to ease the stress of the wedding morning, and who wants to look absolutely wonderful on her wedding day!

This is a team of pros. If you want to feel 10000% confident in your day-of beauty, Sonia Roselli and crew will do you right! I've never walked in to such a gorgeous studio and met so many unbelievably sweet and cool chicks. Blown away. Everyone is really there to make you feel special, flawless, beautiful, amazing, girly, etc. Plus, Susan is a stunner at what she does, super professional. Jo & Stephanie knocked it out of the park. My mother-in-law is super dramatic, but even her response to her hair/makeup was unexpectedly thrilled. Everyone felt gorge and primped by these girls!

Sonia is a miracle worker and a honestly, one of the best in the business! My makeup was one of the things I was most nervous about going into my wedding, so I definitely did my homework when looking at potential artists. A friend had used Sonia when she got married and she looked exactly how I wanted to- like the absolute best version of herself! As soon as I met with Sonia, she knew exactly what I was going for. She asked me all about the look of the wedding, my dress, my hairstyle, etc. so that she could make sure that the makeup was in-line with everything else. My trial was at her adorable boutique in Rogers Park and we had a blast trying different things. I had my makeup done for my rehearsal and the wedding of course by her and each time, it was absolutely flawless! I could not have been happier with the results and all of my bridesmaids felt the same way about theirs. The only thing I had to do as far as touching up all day was use a blotting paper now and then and reapply some lip gloss. I am now obsessed with airbrush and wish I could have it done everyday to be honest:) Sonia's the best and is well worth every penny!

Loved how my makeup and hair turned out. My bridesmaids were also very happy. I think the services are on the pricier side but definitely worth it. I felt so beautiful!!!

If you want to look flawless for your wedding hire Sonia or someone on her team. I used Jen for my wedding and she was so great. We laughed, we joked, and we all looked awesome. I am OBSESSED with their fake eyelashes now! My makeup lasted all day and against their advice I slept in it. It still looked great the next morning!! Everyone from Susan, Sonia, and Jen were so professional and prompt. I can't wait to use their services for all of my big events in the future.

So, I'm completely IN LOVE with Sonia! We had corresponded so much prior to my make-up preview that when I finally met her, it was like being reunited with an old friend. Her personality and humor are just my style - she's unbelievably friendly and fun, but is an amazing make-up artist! My preview was a LOT of fun. WE laughed almost the entire time. And, my makeup was STUNNING!!! I was so excited!!!

Spray Tan: I also went to Sonia for my spray-tan the day before the wedding, and told her that I wanted to have some nice color. She sprayed me REAL good! I got a lot of compliments on my color and it lasted!!! She also made me two custom, and amazing lip-glosses and named them "Kate's Wedding Day". LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

Wedding Day: was amazing as well! Makeup was perfect, even in the extreme heat! It was mid-90's but felt like it was in the hundreds. She made some necessary changes for the big day so that my makeup wouldn't run w/all of the humidity (no lower eye-liner for an example). Everyone commented on how awesome the makeup was...and let me tell you IT LASTED!!! Aside from having to blot a bit because of the heat, that was all I had to do. My gazillion individual lashes stayed on all night. And, I think I had about 100 on each eye (no joke). She's amazing and I recommend her 100%!

I used Sonia Roselli Esthetique for wedding make up for myself, 9 bridesmaids, my mom, grandma, aunt, and mother in law. I had Abbey and Susan for the day and they were able to do all 14 of us in 4 hours. I was worried about time, but they were able to fit us all in with time to spare. The looks were not compromised bc of the time and we all looked amazing. I worked with Susan throughout the planning process and she was amazing. She was quick to return emails and answer any questions I had. She was even able to print and send me cute gift certificates to give to all my bridesmaids at our rehearsal dinner. Fabulous is an understatement for Abbey. When I met her at my trial I knew she would be perfect for my big day. And boy was I right. Not only is she an amazing make-up artist (she’s done Jennifer Hudson, Rhianna, Kanye West, Michelle Obama) but her personality helped brighten our rainy wedding morning. Words cannot even express how amazing these two women are. Not only did they make us all look gorgeous, but they were fun to have around the morning of the wedding. It was hot, humid, and periodically rainy all day. This usually calls for a disaster with make-up but my make up was perfect even at the end of my reception. I was on the dance floor dancing up a storm and my make up still stayed on perfectly. My pictures turned out amazing from the beginning of the day to the end and I heard countless compliments on my make-up. I will definitely be referring them to all the brides I know and if I need any make up for any other events this will be my first and only stop. If you are on the fence about booking Sonia Roselli or any of her girls I will tell you right now – book them now!!!!

Sonia was a rockstar doing my makeup plus 5 other bridesmaids & relatives onsite for my wedding on NYE. Given the harsh weather conditions, my makeup held up great and usually my makeup smudges - even as I'm crying during my ceremony my makeup still held up!

Sonia is worth every penny and was extremely accommodating when I had to add extra time to our original contract. Everyone paid me such lovely compliments on how good I looked (they were used to seeing me sans makeup).

Bravo to Sonia for a job well done - my most sincerest gratitude goes to you for making me a lovely bride. I can't wait to see the pictures!

Jen (make up) and Stephanie (Hair) did a great job on the big day. Everyone looked beautiful and the makeup stayed on all night. They were prompt and professional. No complaints!

Sonia is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She also cracks me up. I fell in love with her shop during my trial. It's one of those incredibly feminine spaces that make me wish I were girlier. I booked Sonia at the trial - it was by far the best make-up application I'd ever had (flashbacks to my horrific oompa-loompa experiences). Day-of was no different...she made me look like a better version of myself, not like someone else all together. She also did four of my bridesmaids and they all looked fabulous. Her bubbly personality was a wonderful addition to the day, so happy she was part of it!

Sonia Roselli is amazing at what she does! Every bride, in my opinion, needs to have their make up professionally done for their Big Day - it's just an absolute must-do! Sonia is so fun and so laid back too! She does airbrush make up and will put on long fake eyelashes for you which is also a must-do for your wedding day (unless if you are blessed of course with long thick eyelashes). She does a "preview" for you before your wedding day which is a run-through of your make up beforehand and tweaks up your look until you finally love your wedding day make-up. My make up stayed on the whole night with just some touch ups with some lip gloss here and there. At the last minute I decided that I wanted to have all of my bridesmaids and the moms done up too (a total of 10 ladies!) and Sonia was able to bring in an assistant - and not just any assistant - J. Hudson's own make up artist! All of us definitely felt like celebrities while we got our make up done. Sonia is absolutely a dream to work with and definitely well worth the money! I wish I could get my make up done everyday by her.... ;-)

Sonia and her crew are AMAZING! I booked Jo for my makeup as well as my five bridesmaids, and everyone loved the airbrush makeup! It held up beautifully all day and looks flawless in photos.
Sonia runs her business like an absolute professional at all times - she has a reputation among brides for excellence and there is a reason, she WORKS FOR IT! I would not have trusted my face to anyone else. I would not hesitate to recommend Jo or anyone from the Esthetique, they are both professional and very warm, friendly people.

Sonia is great, and she trains her staff to makeup well. Initially, booking the service was a challenge because Sonia went through about three secretaries. With the changes, I was a bit nervous I would have a hair and makeup appointment on my wedding day, but then she hired someone great and attentive. Emails were answered and appointments were clarified. I cannot say enough about my hair and makeup. Nika did a great job! I looked gorgeous! They did a fabulous job on my (the bride) hair, but others in the group did not like their hair as much. Of course, they did not let Nika know they wanted their hairstyle tweaked a bit. I think the focus was kept on the bride. The only other problem was hair and makeup ran almost two hours late. Sonia also did a great job with the spray tan.

Sonia was a great vendor to work with! I was so pleased with my makeup and I know all my bridesmaids felt the same. She made us look glamourous without making us feel cakey or overdone. I think I looked natural but at the same time better than I've ever looked, so that was quite a feat. Sonia is undoubtedly expensive but I really felt like it was worth it to work with her. She is hysterical and kept up cracking up the whole morning. She just has a good soul and that comes through when you work with her. If it's in your budget, I definitely recommend Sonia.
